No Name's 60th Birthday
We celebrated Steve's (No Name) 60th Birthday with a surprise party at Harvey's tonight. It was a good time with great food...one of my favorite restaurants!! Clayton had a great time running around with the bigger boys until he just couldn't party anymore.
Happy 60th Birthday Steve!!!

We still do not have a name for Clayton to call Steve. Any suggestions???

Easter 2010
You would think that dying Easter Eggs is not very complicated...well in our case, it apparently is very hard. We followed the instructions for making the egg dye so that the eggs would be dyed in pastel colors and began showing Clayton how to dye his Easter eggs. However, after letting them soak and soak and soak a little more in the dye the eggs would not soak up the color unless they were a pink shade. So needless to say our boy had a basket full of pink Easter eggs. Oh well maybe next year... It did not phase Clayton one bit though. He had the best time chunking his eggs into the cups full of dye. He didn't understand when all of the cups were full of eggs that we couldn't keep going with the rest of the eggs left waiting to be put in the egg dye. He would clap and cheer after putting each egg in a cup.
Pre-Mess....

So proud of himself :)
A little help from Daddy
The Easter Bunny came and left Clayton lots of books, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and some sweet treats for his little sweet tooth :) He plopped right down next to his basket and started digging in it.

Just relaxing & reading one of his new books
Easter Sunday picture in front of the beautiful flower covered cross at church...what a beautiful reminder of the love that was poured out for us on that Resurrection Sunday. He is Risen!

Spring Is Here!
We took Clayton to a local spot with tons of daffodils in bloom and had a little photo shoot. He was pretty cooperative during the whole thing. However, as we are loading up in the car, we discover that the photo shoot came with a price...the little man's legs were starting to break out all over. Guess he inherited his mama's crazy skin...
