We are back, Baby!

When I was pregnant, I tried to start this blog. I wanted to document what was happening with me, my body and the sweet little guy growing in me. Well, that lasted one post (typical me... :-) ). Hunter and I were talking the other day and we were amazed how quickly this past year has come and gone and we didn't want to forget the big or little things we have experienced with our bundle of joy, so here I am. Back again to try and redeem myself.

Where to start? I guess the first post should be about Noah's first hair cut. After everyone telling me he needed a hair cut, I took him to get a trim on Thursday. Noah was such a good little guy. He sat there and smiled and was in great spirits. His mommy was not so good. I blame it on Hunter (he knows not to let me do major things on my own...). Lets just say by the time she got done cutting his beautiful, shiny, full and thick hair, he was a mixture between Matt Thornock and Richard Ulsh (for those of you who know them) or as my dad called him, "A Bubba". All Hunter said when he saw Noah was "Oh...My...God...". Again, Hunter fault. :-)

Granted, his hair is not that bad, but he had beautiful hair before. Needless to say, we probably wont be going for another hair cut for about a year.

I don't have an after picture yet, but here are during picture.

My Baby Girl

I can't believe how fast these past 6 months have gone.  I was always surprised how quick Noah was growing up but Brenna has made things go extra fast.  Brenna's personality is coming out and it is amazing to watch her grow.  She is so Observative  and loves her brother more than anyone.  If he is anywhere around or can be heard it is nearly imposable to get her attention.  She is goign to be one smart cookie

Noahism

I was nursing Brenna the other day and Noah said he wanted to feed her.  I told him that I have to feed her because she eats milk from my boobies. He thought about it for a minute and stated “I want to feed Brenna with my BIG nipples.  My BIG LOOOONG nipples.”  Hmmmm… Thanks, Dude.

Noahism

The other day Noah lifted up my skirt , looked at my butt and said "Mommy, what happened?". Me: "You and your sister happened, buddy."

It was worth it, right???

Noahism

While driving by a stinky oil refinery, Noah covered his face and said “I’ve got poop in my nose!”

Noahism

We took Noah to a baseball game a few months ago.  Not only did he have a blast playing on the playground, watching and yelling at the game and eating all the food his little belly could handle, he picked up a new saying.
For weeks after going to the game Noah would walk around and yell “COLD BEER!”

The Other Reason Not to Kiss Your Sister

Noah is such a great big brother to Brenna.  He absolutely adores her.  Sometimes a little too much.  A few days ago Brenna was sitting in her bouncy chair just relaxing when Noah came up to her and laid down on her and planted a huge kiss on her lips.  Little B is in the making bubbles stage so when Noah sat up they were still connected by a 6 inch string of drool.  Think Lady and the Tramp spaghetti scene but with drool and your sibling.
