6 Facts about myself.......thanx Aundra!

1. I absolutely HATE getting my nails done, (such a waste of time) but i am a terrible nail biter.

2. I have to sleep touching some part of Shane.

3. I check my sister in laws blogs daily, love them!

4. I LOVED the labor & birthing process of everyone of my kids. The pregnancy part i am not so fond of.

5. Fell out of a moving vehicle and was dragged a short distance when i was in 8th grade.

6. Always knew i would marry Shane Ryan Hull!!!

Chicago

Thanks to family & friends taking care of our kids, i was able to tag along with Shane on a business trip. It was sooo great to have some alone time. I was lucky enough to do whatever i wanted for 3 whole days! After that, Shane & I did some sight seeing, ate too much, tried every pizza joint in town, (in search of the infamous Chicago style pizza), and even went to a comedy club. We had a lot of fun together just enjoying our time away from the "real" world.

I LOVED Chicago, it is an amazing city.

Proud To Be An American!

As we were driving along to pick up kids from school today, Cade looks out the window and yells "Mom I see an American!"
I think he's been learning about the American flag at school & got a little confused. Love him!

Time for a change..........

We needed some help in the hair department, we had BAD summer hair. Here are the results.

I LOVE, LOVE Shay's hair! We were worried if we cut it short all her "sweet" curls, or waves what ever you want to call it, would get worse, but it didn't. The only way she would let us cut it short was if it was like aunt mae mae's hair, this was our attempt. Much better. Thanks Jenna!

And thanks Aunt Cassaundra for the new lip gloss. It looks supa fly with my new "do"

Date Night......

I LOVE that Shane & I still have so much fun together. He makes me laugh all the time. I'm not sure how someone can be so happy almost all the time, but i love it! And he's good for me. On Friday night we went on a "date". Since it has been so unbelievably hot here we took our bikes to Ventura & rode along the beach. We raced, and laughed until Shane's chain finally broke, 3 different times, he wouldn't let me take any pictures of him fixing the bike, but i did get a few before we started. And of course we finished off our date with a yummy dinner from Joe's Crab Shack.

Houston.....Where Are You???

Is it Santa Claus? No, it's only Houston. I couldn't find him the other day and this is where he was, just playing with his cars.

Pismo Beach

Houston, Shaylee & Cade had soo much fun pullling eachother around on the boogie board.

I know this is a little scary but they but LOVED it!

We thought that being home for 3 weeks total this summer was way too much so we threw in a Pismo Trip a few days before school started. The kids (minus Hunter) have never ridden in the sand, they had so much fun.

I love the first day of school! The kids are so excited and eager to get to school early, new clothes, new teachers, backpacks, sack lunches, friends new & old I miss those days................ They thought of this pose themselves okay
4th grade! I can't believe it, I thought i was ready for school to start until yesterday............
I took Hunter to get his new school shoes and he is now shopping in the men's sizes! How sad is that?! Where is the time going??? Seriously, I have vivid memories of 4th grade! This can't be happening........ my babies are growing so fast.

Don't they look excited? Like father like son. I couldn't get Hunter to stand in front of his new classroom for a picture, (too many friends watching) so we opted for a picture with dad instead. Does this mean next year i can't even walk him to class on the first day?
Of course i could get Shaylee to pose. She didn't get the teacher she had hoped for, was a little nervous about the change and even started to cry a little bit when it was time to say good bye.................

Their are a few things I am NOT so excited about now that school is back in session: a 1:00 pick up from pre-school, a 2:10 pick up @ the elementary and then a 2:40 pick up!
Not to mention, when is Houston supposed to nap? Car pool anyone?!?!?!?!

I thought i'd test my blogging "skills" today......................

So, here's mae mae at the ranch. We were actually trying to get pictures of the gorgeous sunset and got these beauty's instead. She's so much fun!
