ELDER HULET WITH US AT CHRISTMAS

Though not there in person (only on Skype) Randy was with the family at Christmas via the wonderful internet that not only let us talk to him for close to an hour, but also gave us a visual. It was grand.

CHRISTMAS 2010

I have been threatened -- so I had better add to my blog.

All the Hulets, excepting Elder Randy, were home for Christmas. There were 11 adults and 4 children for 5 days and it was the best. So much food, so much laughter, so much fun and music. We did some traditional stuff (like shooting out at Scotia Range) and some new things -- like dinner out in Amish Country. Christmas Day we placed the laptop computer at the end of the dining room table and Skyped with Elder Hulet for close to an hour. He looked so good and he got to see and/or chat with everyone, including his favorite -- the nieces and the nephew.

Replacement Little Guy

Randy (a long time ago) used to be my "Little Guy" - because Kent said there was no way that I could call him "Bud" (that was his name). Then he moved on to "Big Guy" and eventually, "Boy" (which comes from the movie Hook). Well, when my first grandson arrived on the scene, it just seemed natural to call him "little guy" -- and he is a cute, little guy, don't you think. [Yuh, Nana, sure]

Elder Hulet -- Off to England

Well, he is off -- actually 3 weeks ago. He spent 2 1/2 weeks in the MTC in Preston, England and he is now with Elder Stein (from Germany) in Walsall -- close to Birmingham. He is going to be a great missionary!
Yes, I am a big cry baby Momma

LOVELY MISSIONARIES

A random man (Randy Peterson from Salt Lake area) sent us this picture by email and told us what wonderful missionaries these girls were. What a nice man. I am posting it on this blog because I don't think many people look at Sister Hulet's blog.

FINALLY - It is official!!

Kaycee is finally officially engaged as of last night (May 27) - to Joaquim Cuiara (hope I spelled that right Kayc). They will be married August 6th in the Salt Lake Temple and after his graduation from BYU Marriott School of Business (the next week) - they will be moving to Austin, TX where he has a job with Dell. If you are interested in a picture ('cause I am in Memphis and don't have access to any), scroll down to the Juris Doctor post and see him with Kaycee at her law school graduation.

BABY CHASE HAS JOINED US

Three and a half weeks early (May 21st), our first grandson decided to join the Hulet clan. See Becky's blog for more details. I'm just posting pictures. Mike and Randy drove me down to Memphis (15 hour night drive on Friday) and I will stay for a couple of weeks and then fly home.

LAST OF SIX

We took our baby boy (who is really a man now) to the temple for his own endowments on Saturday (May 8th). What a great experience. How blessed we feel. The last of six -- all had their endowments at the Washington, D.C. temple. On Sunday, he a another boy in the ward (who is leaving for a mission to Poland) sang a beautiful song "Write Thy Name Upon My Heart" by Sally DeFord. It's enough to make a mother cry -- which I am pretty good at doing lately.

JURIS DOCTOR

I'm a little slow in posting anything (I see Feb. was the last time). So time for an update.
My girl now hold a degree of Juris Doctor. We are so proud of her! The pictures are from graduation. Mike and I flew out. If you want to know about Joaqium (boy in pic) I guess you'll have to write Kaycee (or me) and ask.
