WE LOVE MAMA!

Jackson and I decided to hijack the blog today because Mama is out of town. We wanted everyone to know that she's the one that makes our world turn, and without her everything goes hay-wire. Showers are forgotten, candy is had for meals (there's gotta be some nutrition in there somewhere), and we get a little more than cranky. We love you Jodi, and we can't wait for you to come home.

Daddy's Little Grommet

From Day one Kent has been raising Jack to love surfing.
Kent uses surf movies to calm Jack down before bed
(I can't tell you how many times Jack has
sat through "Sprout.")
Kent also takes Jack on monthly
outings to the surf shop to
oggle and caress the new boards.
Jack actually grunts and grabs
when he sees a surfboard.

Jack grunting and grabbing Kent's new board.

Who knew so much love could fit in one lil' word?

You are our everything.

Mom is great,
Dad is fun too,
but there is no question
I'd rather spend time with you!

Jack and the Mountain of Blankets

Question: Who is the polar opposite of
the Princess and the Pea?

Answer: Jack Howe

Oh, and by the way, the flash didn't
phase Jack at all when I took this picture.

June 12, 2003

June 12, 2003
Arguably the best day of my life (Jack's birth was just as momentous, but hardly as much fun). It's hard to believe that 4 years have passed since Kent and I knelt in the Los Angles Temple.I can't imagine a better life, a more loving husband, or a happier ending. I love you Kent, thank you for picking me. Happy Anniversary!

True Confessions

I confess, I've been vacillating over starting a blog for months now. I don't know how many times my husband has heard-

"I want to start a blog. Egh,I'll do it after dinner..."

But I never do start it after dinner.
The truth is there is this little voice in the back of my mind taunting me: "What if your blog is boring?" "You're not exactly the adventurous type."

And with this realization I've decided to do something about it--> I'm going to blog! Not only am I going to blog, but I'm going to live a life worth blogging. I can be fun or at least I was before I became Jack's mommy.

Hi, my name is Jodi and I'm a recovering bore.
