音樂拚圖

日前把所有的MP3 匯入Wimamp 中管理, 得出一個強大的音樂庫. 也從Wimamp 的數據認識清楚自己的音樂口味. 而音樂庫中的一個副產品就是Album Art.

我利用 AndreaMosaic (http://www.andreaplanet.com/andreamosaic/) 把這些Album Art 製作成上面的的一張音樂拼圖. 想知我平時聽甚麼的歌, 點一點上圖就可仔細看一看.

PS : 記唔記 "The School of Rock" 入面 Jack Black 係黑板寫嘅音樂發展史? 有無更大尺寸的? 我好想用嚟做Wallpaper.

Beowulf - 禁忌! 人體練成

前言 : 強行進行人體練成, 只會做出無靈魂的人造人! (鋼之練金術師)

看了IMAX 3D 版Beowulf, 立體感前所未有, 全CG 製作的關係, 比用鏡頭拍攝的3D 電影在立體精細度大大提昇. 沒有以往模糊不清的弊端. 高潮部份立體感超一流. Wow~~ 而人體模型3D 制作之精細, 在3D化 + IMAX超高清畫面下, 到達可以玩數毛毛與數毛孔情度.

但是.... 總覺得角色的表情有點古怪. 每個Close Up 明明看到細緻表情, 怎解還覺像個木偶的感覺? 不是連 Facial Motion Caputre 都用上了嗎? 怎解角色都像沒靈魂的人偶, 不自然也不協調?

因為Beowulf 跌入了恐怖谷, 是恐怖谷理論受害者!

甚麼是恐怖谷理論? 簡單的說, 當動畫擬人情度提昇至一定像真水平, 對人偶好感度會突然墜至反感水平! 詳細的理論請參考:

要仔細的分析Beowulf 的誤差, 就是角色的皮膚質地與肌理都有誤差. 眼部表情缺乏, 說話時面部肌肉沒有相應變化( 所謂的皮笑肉不笑, 像木偶似的只有口在動). 在Close Up 畫面時, 畫師有加添表情, 眉毛, 眼球等動作. 可惜整體的面部肌肉運動及皮膚紋理變化乃不足使觀眾逃離恐怖谷 - 越是接近真人的細微的差誤, 好感度越是下跌. 再加不自然的動作, 恐怖谷效應再進一步擴大.

如用繪畫的語言, 那一點的差誤, 就是神髓之所在. 我作畫時也不時要考慮避免跌入恐怖谷陷阱.

可能是成本的問題吧, 在群戲時, 角色往往連眼部表情也缺乏, 眼也不貶達數分鐘, 只有口部肌肉在動. 女主角那對死魚一樣的表情也看得我發笑. 身體上的肌肉變化也犯了同樣問題. Motion Capture 只用在主角身上, 閒角都是生硬的動作. 令我十分失望.

唉, 不是每個人都像熊絵那樣雞蛋裹挑骨頭的呀?!

你用雙手擺個V字撗放於雙眼, 跟著輕輕說話, 感受到面部肌肉及眼球的細微變化嗎? 但你卻看不出來. 恐怖谷理論就是說人在平常的觀察也能把這細微的變化在無意識下分辨出來. 像你看蠟像時, 就算你說不出因由, 不比較下也會立刻產生恐怖感一樣, 是不自主的心理反應.

大動畫制作公司如Pixar 或Dreamwork 都避免制作高度擬人的動畫, 以免受跌入恐怖谷深淵. 其實導演 Robert Zemeckis 己制作過 Polar Express 和 Monster House, 早已領教過恐怖谷理論的批評, 今次亦只能對CG精細度加已改善. 不知是否向邁向擬人的這一步比踏上月球的那一步更難.

現實中的人體練成是禁忌, 在動畫中也一樣是!

看完之後我絕對讚同! 因內容是 : 簡單不過的一部悶蛋打怪獸片, 完!

導演只想找個故事來做3D 實驗, 所以全片設計都是以3D 為中心. 鏡頭, 場景, 分鏡都是以特出3D 效果而設. 所以係唔係都有把劍刺下你, 有支矛拮下你, 係高塔尖彈彈下體驗個塔有幾尖, 最無厘頭成日有大石跌落黎或拋起個人再跌反落去表現立體感, 我知啦, 你套係3D 黎啦, 好煩呀, 駛唔駛飛飛下 Pan 落個鏡頭去深谷睇下有幾深再轉番出黎呀, 阿導演請尊重下你係拍戲, 唔係做CG 實驗好唔好!

IMAX 3D 是你唯一入場的理由. 如果要看2D 版的話, 那只一部很爛的CG 動畫, 景很爛, 衣服還是像膠布, 閒角製作得精細地爛, 怪獸的設計更爛! 還是省下點錢, 等出Blue-ray 時係 HDTV 玩數毛毛仲好!

• This blog format is based on blogger's template but rewrote the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I attempt to make an aqua and transparent theme actually. :>
• Snap Shot function added.
  
• Counter added, scirpt modifed to hide some information.
  
• Replace the quicktime music player with a flash mp3 player, and modify the script for Blogger's sidebar. This dramatically reduce the loading time also.
  
• Remove all icons from the add-on.

Interesting Findings :

• Space and Line-break is important issue on sidebar's script.
  
• You will find a lot of waste material in your Picasa Web Album!
• Embed tag is ok even on IE (7.0 only, I think)
• Unicode is always not supported!
• Finally find a way to hide some "HAM" photo in blogger! <-- (Only Chinese can understand)

KNOWN BUGS:

• Inconsistent layout rendering and text size between Firefox and IE
• Layout may be broken down in IE 6.0 and lower version.
• Snap shot preview only available on newest post.
• Too much Javascript running behind may sometime crash Firefox
• Incorrect color theme on Flash MP3 player

• 技術多年來沒半點改進, 還停留在拍Postcard 相的階段. 創意觸角是以後的一個重要課題
• 取景太過對稱, 呆板. 近乎強迫症情度
• 用PhotoShop 的技巧遠勝拍攝技術. 達到起死回生的水平!
• 眼朦就扮唔用Finder, 因此成日out-foucs, 又鍾意高眺低炒扮Pro
• 遺失了大量的相片... :~~~~ 我的台北與北京回憶全都飛走啦
• 喜歡 Snap 多於 Tech. 直覺多於視覺. 成日影左你你都唔多覺
• 喜歡發光/反光物體, 我其實係烏鴉一隻
• 喜歡亂試, 實驗, 神經章! 結果好多相都係廢物
• 不喜歡拍 "到此一遊" 的相片, 最怕企定定 V 字手! 好憎團體相, 一影我就搞事
• 人影我就一定好樣衰! 所以唔想入鏡, 好鐘意自拍, 尢其是.... Kekeee!
• 相片內涵/美感與相機質素並不掛鉤. 所以我想要Sony T200 傻瓜機遠多於Canon D40
• 朋友/同事們的拍攝技巧與所擁有相機的價錢往往成反比
• 唔明影相係要用閃光燈, 都唔肯用較高ISO, 成皮幾買部 DSLR 連鏡做乜呀? 成日都只係用Program Auto Mode! (對某富貴又扮窮之少年的控訴).
  
• 其實. . . .唔係咁鍾意影相! 只是想記錄一些事情羆了. 我善忘

PS. 沒有ACDsee 的朋友可試試 Google 免費的 Picasa 相片管理軟體. 用來瀏灠和尋找相片是不錯的, 但相片管理就麻麻煩煩. 新手可試試, 高手則可免矣.

Disney Halloween

一群大細佬去了最細的Disney Halloween, 地方細其實也不錯, 不用走來走去. 回想上次到東京迪士尼，只記得不停在跑和不停地等, 和用了半小時也離不開的苦況.

萬聖節的氣氛沒怎樣, 多點裝飾吧了, 一點也不像樣的 Jack Skellington 令我以為去了老番滴滴尼. 恐怖和歡笑始終撈唔埋. 俾番隻 Winnie the Pooh 我把啦.

在鬼屋, 我嚇朋友多過工作人員, 坐迴旋木馬就搗亂. 玩甚麼都亂來, 一切都是自製娛樂. 一班大細佬才是歡笑樂園的製造者. 辛苦哂!

只為了聽李香琴的吟詠就趕去買下”十二金釵眾生花”　

一個文字充滿思想空間的留白故事, 但音樂中隱隱的咇咇聲由急轉慢，慢而漸漸隱沒. . . . . 為故事補完．
再加上李香琴用聲音完美地演繹了故事的神髓. 幽幽淡淡, 不溫不火, 嗚咽輕歎, 又或會心淺笑, 用聲音演出一齣人生長劇. 簡直是一個大師級示範作. 每次聽此曲都想, 感觸太多...

PS. 不知是錯漏還是有意, CD 只提供"三千年後" 的詠詞, 卻錯漏百出, 文字上的錯誤也算了, 竟可以有一整段詠詞不見, 也有多出來不明段落! 所以就花了點時間把原汁原味的廣東口語詠詞打出來!

I am addicted to the Google Earth 4.1 lately. The latest version of Google Earth add high quality terrain function producing realistic 3D real time rendering landscape view. The image of Grand Canyon, Ayers Rock and Mountain St. Helen above are CG images ** created by Google Earth. And you can view those realistic landscape by 360 degree. Another addicted fun is searching crop circle on the earth. <---- geek! Google Earth also including new feature which can view city building or architecture in 3D, Now you can take a look Tian Tan Buddha at 360 degree view! (and forget the Ngong Ping 360!) http://earth.google.com/

** In Option > Detail Area choose Large and Terrain Quality set to max. And make sure your computer has a high performance display card and OVER 1G Ram!! And best view with 1600 x 1200 pixel monitor or higher.

Dairy : A Lost Make Me Cry

I lost my badminton racquet on the bus when I was going to badminton training class. It's YY Ti10 2U5G classical version which cost over $1000. The valuable of this racquet is it was sold out on the market, thus you can't replace it even you got money. I searched through the Kowloon City, tracing the bus route down to Kennedy Town to looking for the racquet and found nothing. It make me wanna to cry.

What did make me cry was a friend showing indifferent when you were desperate. At the mean time, it's start raining and I was standing on the street in Kowloon City. (To my friend X, I HATE YOU! I mean it!)

God, please don't play my life in such dramatic way.

Tonight, I looked up something huge to satisfy my desire. But what I found to fill my emptiness and made me happy was something tiny.

I am talking about is I need a wallpaper, which is 1600 x 1200 pixel macro image, to fill my emptiness desktop.
