Happy 15th Birthday, Alexander!

Our oldest child, Alexander is now 15 years old. Although he was a terrible baby, he has made up for it with his sweet and thoughtful disposition as a teenager. He also is trying to make up for the years of eating like a bird.

13 years ago Joshua surprised his parents by coming into this world 12 days early. We feel extremely blessed to have him in our family. His keen sense of humor and wit keep us all laughing.

HOUSTON.... we have lift off.





Nathaniel with his Dedicated Scout leader,David Hylton, who got these rockets from N.A.S.A. The boys have been building them in Bears. Now to see if they actually work.

Nothing left but smoke.


The parachute opened up and gently lowered the rocket back to earth..... Successful launch.



Nathaniel launched a second time using a more powerful engine. The rocket went so high that we lost vision of it in the clouds. It was Amazing! Then the winds came along and took the rocket over Lake Houston.

Solo and Ensemble


Alexander sings in the High School choir. He also made a special performance group called Colla Voce. Early this morning, they had a U.I.L. Solo and Ensemble competition. Alexander actually was brave enough to sing in the solo area this year. They are rated on a scale of 1 to 5. 1 being the best and 5 being the poorest. His Choir earned a 1, Colla Voce earned a 1, and His solo performance earned a 1. Very Impressive!

Joshua's Cross Country Short season ends.



Joshua also had a Cross Country meet yesterday. He ended his season with a P.R. of 11:33. He took a minute of his previous time. Good Work!

Alexander's First Track Meet



Alexander had his first Track meet yesterday. He ran the 3200m, with a P.R. (personal record) of 12:52. And the 1600m, also with a P.R. of 5:54. Way to go Alexander, Your hard work is paying off.
