If I ever leave the pantry door open this is what happens. She was putting the flour all over her and her doll.
Playing dress ups with cousins Sailor and Kaia, they were having a parade.
Loves to get in and out, in and out of the tub. I think it's time for these two to start taking their baths separate. Kenya sometimes grabs things she shouldn't if you know what I mean. :)

Southern California
After a long drive of sick kids we made it to Southern California! I woke up to Charlie in my room at 1:30 am saying "mom I throwed up in my bed." I couldn't believe he had the stomach bug again, he just had it last week. So I cleaned it up, washed his sheets, and threw a few grocery sacks in the car in case he needed to throw up again. We left at 3 am my kids slept and when they woke up Kenya started throwing up! She threw up 8 or 9 times on the way down and I was the lucky one holding the sack under her chin to catch it all. But she got it all over and done with and they were both fine by the time we got there! We started our trip off with The Wild Animal Park which we loved.
I pointed out to Charlie how the flamingos were standing on one leg with their necks wrapped onto their backs when they were sleeping. I turned around to find him standing like this below, he said "look I'm a flamingo!"

Huntington Beach
We had a great day at Huntington Beach on our second day in California. It was nice weather and the first time our kids had been in the ocean. They were not shy of that freezing water! Kenya ran straight for it and loved it. So did Charlie. we played in the sand, well Mark did with the kids, walked on the pier, and watched a kite flying competition (didn't know there were professional kit fliers out there! They have these routines that they fly their kites to music to. Kind of fun to watch actually. :))
Sea World
We split our Disney days up with a trip to Sea World. It was a beautiful day that day, in the 70's and the park was very empty! We went to the shows and got to feed seals, touch sting rays, look at sharks and manatees and get a birds eye view of San Diego. Another great day.
Touching the sting rays.
The chocolate sees candy sucker entertained Kenya quite well! Quite a few onlookers too!
Nothing like the shamu show! It was great!
Kenya was asleep when we went to the show, she got woken up by the music, I looked through the netting in her stroller to find her laying down with her dancing fingers going. Then a couple minutes later she was poking her head out and watching the show.
Charlie, Stella, Harper, Amy, Jared, Grandpa, and Mark.
After Sea World we went through La Jolla to this beach where a ton of harbor seals were beached and got to see the sunset. Very pretty.
Those are just a few of the seals behind us. We searched for a place to eat after the view of the beach but ran out of time with cranky tired hungry kids. Luckily I had extra sandwiches from lunch, I gave them to my kids, we hopped on the freeway for the drive back to Anaheim and Charlie was literally asleep 1 minute after we got on the freeway, Kenya shortly after.

Disneyland
We spent three fun filled days at Disneyland! We had a great time. It rained in the morning on the second day we went and a little on the first day but that didn't stop us! It was not busy, we hardly waited in any lines. Charlie was tall enough this time to go on most rides, he loved space mountain and splash mountain the most. He was still scared of Pirates of the Caribbean though, not sure why. That was his cousin Stella's favorite, and she was scared of his favorites! Kind of funny. I took him on the Tower of Terror, he hated that! He was freaked out poor thing. Because we went with Jared and Amy and their girls we had to meet all the princesses which he would've loved a lot more last year probably but still like them. We even got to eat at Ariel's Grotto which was neat because the princesses got to come around and talk to the kids at our table. I don't have pictures though, I'll have to get Jared's. Kenya loved the characters by the end and some of the princesses. She would cling to me at first but always pull a cheesy face for the camera. The characters loved her too, you'll notice a couple pictures of her dancing with them. She was cute. She really liked Cinderella, blowing her kisses and saying bye bye to her. She was really good during the trip, slept good thanks to some melatonin. :) We were said to say goodbye to Disney, especially Charlie but we will be back again!!!
Charlie was so excited to finally get his face painted on the last day.
Kenya was so excited to have Grandpa there for a few days. Every time she saw him she would say "GANPA!" She couldn't get enough of him.
These back pack leashes are the best! You either get weird looks from people or people asking you where you got it. It was great to have.
Kissing Pluto's nose. She got SO excited when she saw him.
