Thanksgiving Point Gardens

We went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens last week with some of our neighbors. Spring is such a beautiful time of year. I love seeing the flowers and trees bloom. It is a reminder to me that there is life after the death of winter:) Bring on the HEAT!!

Easter

Easter is such a special holiday for me- it is a time to reflect upon what my Savior has done for me. I was blessed to be assigned to teach the Young Women of my ward on Easter. I say blessed because during the week I was able to focus on the real meaning of Easter instead of the commercialized aspect of it. I truly loved learning more about Jesus Christ and what he went through for each and every one of us. I am so grateful to have the knowledge of the Atonement and the Resurrection.

Springtime!!

Haisley loves riding her scooter. She has spent countless afternoons riding it in the neighborhood and we have even brought it to some of Uncle Clayt's baseball games.

We went to the Dinosaur Museum with some of our friends. The girlies had a blast!!

We love going to Uncle Clayton's baseball games. We spend a lot of time watching his sports. I guess it's payback time since he has grown up going to all of his siblings games whether it was basketball, cheerleading, baseball, softball, etc he came to all of them.

We've been busy...

I am trying to make a few updates of what we have been up to these past couple of months. It's been crazy to say the least. I am so grateful for a new year and new opportunities!! Hopefully I can do better at everything this year- here's to hoping, right?!! So feel free to scroll down and see what fun things we've done:)

Hillam Christmas Party

The Hillam Party is always a highlight of the Christmas season. I think I might have enjoyed it a little more had I not been in charge of it.

Santa always comes at the end of the party and brings presents for all the kids. It's so much fun watching all the kids wait patiently for their turn. Both of the girlies did a great job- no tears!!

Lucky for us Buddy the Elf also made an appearance at the party:)

Live Nativity

There is a neighborhood in Lehi that puts on a Live Nativity. I bundled up the girls and we went. It is such a wonderful experience. I love showing my kids the real meaning of Christmas. They had a great time even in the freezing cold (I think it was in the teens that night).

Festival of Trees

Every year we brave the crowds and attend the Festival of Trees. The girls love it. This year we went with the Wilde's and the girls had so much fun with Brea.

A year ago some of my friends from high school lost their little boy to a terrible kind of cancer, DIPG. They put together a tree for him and we had to stop by and check it out. They did a great job!!
