Bu Shuanging on MRT

Oh oh oh... I think I can not take MRT during peak period anymore.

Firstly, the crowd.

I want my space. I want my convenience. I want my swift movement along the walkway. I want my cooler air. I want my peaceful sight of fewer people.

Secondly, the seats.

I want the seats to be given to people who REALly need the seats than normal people. I want it that way. I want myself to accept the fact that there are really selfish people out there not offering "so called their" seats to others. Please do not question me about who I am referring to the "normal people", YOU should know.

Once I boarded the MRT, my black face turned even more"black". I was so bu shuang and I STARED at those who were sitting and are fit. They had old lady and old man standing RIGHT in front of them and they just looked away. WHAT THE HELL. They were very well-aware that I was STARING at them, with a black face, throughout their journey, or at least until I alighted.

Okay, I admit maybe I should politely ask them to give their seats to the others, because not everyone have the motivation to make a small little move. Some may only need a slight push, not literally. Sorry, my fault that I did not.

Why should we give our seats to people who really need them?

1. Their physical body can not support their weight. Expecting woman may experience pain in their lower spine. The ache is like having menstrual cramp, they can not stand long. The weight from the fetus exert pressure on their spine. GUYS just stand.

2. Old people have fragile bones and they may have joints problem. Do you not see old people walking slowly? Limping? Hello!!! The pain is from the bone, or whatever, can you not imagine the pain? They have walked and stood for their lives, can't people just give their seats?

Just imagine, please imagine, you are with your grandparents on a MRT. No one offers seats to them. How would you feel? If you want people to offer seats to your grandparents, please, do the same to people's grandparents too.

I am damn bu shuang.

Okay you may be carrying a lot of things, can't stand. Come on, just put everything onto the floor. Dirtying the plastic bag or your personal bag important or having someone suffering more important? Anyway, just take a cab.

I understand that many may not want to give their seats in front of so many people. We do feel a bit awkward or shy. We do not want people to see us doing good deed. If not the rest may call us hypocrites. I had the same feeling at first.

Hey, why are you so bothered about what a nobody to you thinks? You do not know them and they do not know you. They may call you hypocrite. But they are nobody to you either. Even if they are somebody to you, if they THINK OF YOU that way, why not you re-consider that person of somebody. They should feel proud of you and also shy as I have mentioned that many people do.

You will bring bit and pieces of happiness to yourself, the people who need the seats, some other people around. Personally I feel good doing it.

TB Family Day

This morning I woke up at 7am for TB family day at 9am. I left home at 8am, boarded 175 at 812am. While I was on the bus, a group of Filipino keep looking at me. Until a certain bus stop, one guy turned back and ask me in Filipino language.

I ASSUMED, " Are you a Filipino?"

I answered: "What?!!!"

Basically because I was listening to FM radio. I could not hear him and was rather "WHAT!!!", that kind of feeling. *You should know if you were me. Haha. By the way, 175 goes to orchard.

Whatever... Whatever... But actually I was quite concerned. Haha. This is not the first time. There was once I was in orchard MRT with mum and sister, a Filipino came to me and you know.

Okay. I look like a Filipino, Thai, Burmese, or Malay. Haha. Hey hey, I am sunshine bronze leh. Haha.

Anyway, as I have mentioned, I was suppose to go TB, but 175 goes to Great World City then Orchard. 175 is nothing near TB lo. I realized I took the wrong "direct" bus only when I reached Orchard. I alighted and took MRT back to TB. I reached at 915am.

Ni took the same train too. Chey! We thought she will reach earlier than me.

Buffet was after the movie, Igor. I personally think Igor is a nice and worth-the-money show. We were so hungry and went ahead with the newly introduced KFC breakfast. I like the wrap, ni do not like.

Not a very good day for ni. Ha, she slept in both the movies, Igor and Body of lies (after lunch). I slept in BOL too. Haha. It is a bit draggy at the beginning and because someone is sleeping beside me.

We had HK cafe's bread and Wang Jiao's bread for lunch and dinner. Coffees for breakfast, tea time and dinner. What a caffeine day, coffee-addicts.

This zi char is nice de lo. Located at Clementi Ave 4. Hmm, I think it is at block 313??? Near there, as long as I know how to walk there. Haha. Shiok.

Mum, sis and I ate 4 dishes and 2 plates of rice. 3 woman and so much food. There was a group of 4 man, haha, 4 dishes too. OMG we are mega da wei wang.





We waited almost 15mins for bus 175. Why did the bus take so long to come? We are just 1 stop away from the interchange. There should be bus leaving at a standard interval. Hmm. I went looking for my LG KS-20 phone. Boohoo, sold out.

Is it worth the wait?

Luxurious bus 175. Too bad I am not taking it to orchard. Just Clementi Central to Clementi West. Haha what a waste.
