Me and My Dad, are going fishing....

So this weekend we went up the canyon to go fishing. We all had a great time, though not much fishing occured. :) We got up there and Kodi and Gideon went to town "fishing" with their kid fishing pole that has the plastic fish constantly attached to the end of the string. And yes they were excited and happy each time that they reeled the fish in yelling, "I got a fish!" Daddy and Trace set to work on getting Daddy's line ready. (Which took much longer that normal as Trace was "helping" ALOT) Finally Daddy cast and his line broke, so they set to work on getting another one ready....only to run out of fishing line on the next cast. Oh well, time to through rocks in the lake! Then we built the smallest campfire known to man. (It had been raining so there wasn't much dry stuff.) Daddy was a trooper though and cooked us our hot dogs and smores! All in all, a wonderful adventure.

The "T's" are growing

Well the last few weeks my "T's" are growing fast. Trace decided that he could be faster walking and that is now the first choice in his mode of transportation. He has also started using words that the rest of us can understand. He calls for Hannah, asks for cookies, goes to find Kodi (although you must listen carefully to determine the difference between Kodi and cookie), DA over and over to find Daddy (which is particularly nice when Daddy is sitting on the stand during the primary program on Sunday), lots of others but my personal favorite is "pie". He says it very quietly and low and shoots the word out....really cute. (No, I'm not biased. :)) And then there is Tell. Yes folks....my baby cut his first tooth, and the second one is almost through as well. I'm sad that he is growing so fast, but I must admit....there are few things cutier that a two tooth smile!

SkyFest

The SkyFest was wonderful this year! We all got up really, really early on Saturday morning so that we could get down there to see them fill up the balloons.
The kids thought it was great. They just kept saying "LOOK" and pointing in all different directions.
They each picked their favorites. Gideon preferred to watch from a distance, rather than walking right up by them.
Trace was just happy if Daddy was holding him. There were quite a few people there and I think it made him uncomfortable.
It was a little cold, so we snuggled together to keep warm, but all in all we had a GREAT time.

Multi-Tasking Girly

I asked Kodi to help me feed Tell the other morning. I come back to find her multi-tasking like a pro. :) Then after Tell finished his bottle, Kodi then had to help him play on the computer. He was a good sport and let her move his hands and arms all over.

Horse Fun

The Great American Stampede was the other weekend. Had alot of fun stuff to do all weekend, mainly the rodeo, and the horse parade. My little buckaroos loved every minute of it. At the rodeo Gideon kept calling the bulls-moose. "Mom, where's moose??" Which of course kept all the people around us laughing. :) The brown horses in the pictures are the Budweiser Clydsedales, and the black ones are Shires. Our family is partial to the Shires, and someday we will have some of our own.

That's My Boy!

Heath and I were sitting at the table the other night. All the kids were asleep and we were enjoying the quiet. :) When we both heard a ...... noise. I went searching to locate the source. And there in it's carseat, on our bed was Tell, SNORING! I hope that you can hear it on the video. Heath and I got quite a laugh. (And yes, he gets it from me, I snore as well, sigh)

Preschool

My baby girl went to preschool today. She is growing too fast for me, that is for sure. Kodi was so excited. Gideon of course wanted to go with her, and she asked if he could. When she found out he wasn't big enough yet, she sat down and explained to him that he wasn't big enough and that he didn't have any new school clothes so he couldn't go. :)
When I dropped her off she was a little scared, but Mrs. Clark took her hand and away I ran so that she wouldn't see me cry. :) Three days a week, for two hours a day.......I can do this!
