Auntie Brynna was in town this last weekend. Especially for her we made AEbleskivers...all kinds like apple, blueberry, sausage and cheese and chocolate. I think the fav was chocolate as evidenced by Adelle's statement, "these chocolate ones are nothing but yummy!"

Mom: "That is wonderful."
Adelle: "This is hard work."

Adi's Gems
Adelle: "Where is the teddy bear I had yesterday?"
Mom: "I don't know. What did he look like?"
Adelle: "Well, it had fur on it."

Adi's Gems
Conversation which occurred yesterday after the two of us were flipping through the TV stations and Dr Phil flashed in front of our eyes:
Adelle: "Why does he have a beard under his nose?"
Mom: "It's called a mustache."
Adelle: "Well, why does he have to have it?"
Mom: "He just likes it."
Adelle: "Well, why does he only have one lip?"
Mom: LOL
It cracks me up how kids try to make sense of new things.

Nice Guy
Ed is such polite little guy. It blows me away at how appreciative he can be. He always says "thanks", "thank you" or my fav, "thanks, mom," even at unexpected times, like when I am cleaning poopies from his bum bum. This attribute of his has been noticed by many and it gives his mommy a little warm rush to her heart and grin on her face. He loves to talk with people and will say "hello" to to anyone and everyone. Often, it's not just one "hello" but hello after hello after hello, to the same person. Some strangers think this is funny, but others get quickly tired of saying hello back. We have been trying to teach him to say hello just once. He has adapted his habit to saying now, "Hello. Hello, again. Hello, again." He's just an overly friendly guy. Using the words of a good friend (some of you will get this), "I'll take it!! (said with a german accent)." It's better to be friendly than to not.
