Jordan and I had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were able to split the time between our two families. We enjoyed all the Christmas parties, Jordan's Birthday, and visiting Jordan's cabin.
We got a new camera for Christmas so we tested out the self-timer when we were at the cabin. Not bad for a family photo I guess!
Jordan turned 24 this year and wanted to spend his Birthday at the cabin. It was a lot of fun-a little cold at first (38 degrees inside the cabin)-but a lot of fun!
He got lots of help from our neice and nephew opening his gifts!
You can tell you're at the cabin when your cake pan looks like it's been around since 1920!
We were spoiled with lots of fun gifts from our families.
Jordan was most excited though about getting snow gear. I don't know what the weather is like in Nebraska but hey at least he'll have snow boots!
We are excited that we get one more year to be closer to family before we move too far away. We sure love spending time with the people we love most!
