Alright, so I did another Temperament Sorter that my friend Liz shared with me. My type is ENFJ - Extroverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging.
Here's how The Keirsey Temperament Sorter described ENFJ.
The Idealists called Teachers are abstract in their thought and speech, cooperative in their style of achieving goals, and directive and extraverted in their interpersonal relations. Learning in the young has to be beckoned forth, teased out from its hiding place, or, as suggested by the word "education," it has to be "educed." by an individual with educative capabilities. Such a one is the eNFj, thus rightly called the educative mentor or Teacher for short. The Teacher is especially capable of educing or calling forth those inner potentials each learner possesses. Even as children the Teachers may attract a gathering of other children ready to follow their lead in play or work. And they lead without seeming to do so.
Teachers expect the very best of those around them, and this expectation, usually expressed as enthusiastic encouragement, motivates action in others and the desire to live up to their expectations. Teachers have the charming characteristic of taking for granted that their expectations will be met, their implicit commands obeyed, never doubting that people will want to do what they suggest. And, more often than not, people do, because this type has extraordinary charisma.
The Teachers are found in no more than 2 or 3 percent of the population. They like to have things settled and arranged. They prefer to plan both work and social engagements ahead of time and tend to be absolutely reliable in honoring these commitments. At the same time, Teachers are very much at home in complex situations which require the juggling of much data with little pre-planning. An experienced Teacher group leader can dream up, effortlessly, and almost endlessly, activities for groups to engage in, and stimulating roles for members of the group to play. In some Teachers, inspired by the responsiveness of their students or followers, this can amount to genius which other types find hard to emulate. Such ability to preside without planning reminds us somewhat of an Provider, but the latter acts more as a master of ceremonies than as a leader of groups. Providers are natural hosts and hostesses, making sure that each guest is well looked after at social gatherings, or that the right things are expressed on traditional occasions, such as weddings, funerals, graduations, and the like. In much the same way, Teachers value harmonious human relations about all else, can handle people with charm and concern, and are usually popular wherever they are. But Teachers are not so much social as educational leaders, interested primarily in the personal growth and development of others, and less in attending to their social needs.
There is another description by J. Butt, which is more elaborate and can be read here.
Yeah...=) So that's me I guess *hehehe*

Guardian
My mentor invited me to do these online surveys a couple of weeks ago, in order to evaluate myself a little and also just gauge the sort of person I am, just for fun. I thought I'd give them a crack and share one of them.
Your temperament is GUARDIAN.
Guardians, are the cornerstone of society, for they are the temperament given to serving and preserving our most important social institutions. Guardians have natural talent in managing goods and services--from supervision to maintenance and supply--and they use all their skills to keep things running smoothly in their families, communities, schools, churches, hospitals, and businesses.
Guardians can have a lot of fun with their friends, but they are quite serious about their duties and responsibilities. Guardians take pride in being dependable and trustworthy; if there's a job to be done, they can be counted on to put their shoulder to the wheel. Guardians also believe in law and order, and sometimes worry that respect for authority, even a fundamental sense of right and wrong, is being lost. Perhaps this is why Guardians honor customs and traditions so strongly--they are familiar patterns that help bring stability to our modern, fast-paced world.
Practical and down-to-earth, Guardians believe in following the rules and cooperating with others. They are not very comfortable winging it or blazing new trails; working steadily within the system is the Guardian way, for in the long run loyalty, discipline, and teamwork get the job done right. Guardians are meticulous about schedules and have a sharp eye for proper procedures. They are cautious about change, even though they know that change can be healthy for an institution. Better to go slowly, they say, and look before you leap.
Guardians make up as much as 40 to 45 percent of the population.

KONTOT Short Film Convention

Dear everyone,
2 of my friends - Nai and Farah, have organized this short film convention and would like if this was spread around. Read through it, i'm excited for them! I'll be sending in my short 'Scarred', in for the convention as they have requested. It's a few years old already but the girls feel not many have watched it.
I do not have any new shorts since then to put on show, but I'll be getting into it again soon. I'll be shooting a short called 'Fall' which I've recently dusted off after a 2 year hiatus, and its in the pre-pre-production stages now *haha* I'll also be organizing a reunion and get-together with my old Film & Video gang from Uni, as it is important for indie filmmakers to have a group to support and encourage each other and work on each others' shorts. We all have kinda split up, hence all of us not doing any shorts for the past 2 years. I'll be working on Aaron Chung's new short come early May as a volunteer cam assistant and possibly on another project called 'Aman', but the latter is only a possibility at this stage. I'm excited to be getting back into some of the indie shorts stuff again! Many friends have been asking me what happened to me. Well, i hope to have an answer for them this year as I have planned.
I might go to Australia in July for a much needed break. I'm trying to plan it out and manage my finances to go. I do hope i get to go as i might even take on a short course in photography to better my skills. I'm also considering shooting 'Fall' in Australia if I am going =) Let's see how it goes!
Anyway, I have to run now. Do email the organisers if anyone has any questions, or email me if you want to keep in touch or share any views or ideas with me. If you can't see the flyer and form properly, please ask me and I'll email it to you! Take care!
Best regards,
Chin Hor

LIVE & LOUD - Alert former FTV-ers
I just felt really drawn to blog while reading Kev's comments on my tagboard. Live...AND Loud. *rubs my hands together* Now, the band's technically been split for ages. I have yet to really whack the drums except for when I served at Church, but I don't whack it there like I usually do. It's be great to pound the skins of my drumkit. If only I had a home for my drumkit...
Prior to today, I haven't blogged for about 2 weeks. A couple of people asked me why, and if I was busy romancing away. Are you kidding me? I don't even think there was time for that. And no, I've just been too fed up, tired or lazy to blog by the time I even had time to (late at night usually). I think I found sleep a better alternative to occupy my time. Now there are around 8 new entries, all up. Knock yourselves out =P
REUNION - FTV Gang - Are you bums out there? =)
There was a time, just over 2 years ago, that a group of us hung out almost every single day on end, before, during and after college; a bunch of Film & Video enthusiasts. Well, none of us were really film experts or anything, but we enjoyed hanging out, working on each others' short films and being there for each other. It was a fun fellowship. We had some great times, great times.
Where are we today? Work life has really changed most of us. The ones not included in this list, well, they're still in college, good for them =) I don't think any of us really lost the knack for film or doing indie flicks, it's probably not a priority right now. We all have our own reasons. Whatever it is, I feel it's time we all had a get-together! I know some of you read this blog, so spread the word.
As with tradition (=P), I'll initiate this gathering and you guys help make it happen ok? I miss those times we went for movies, on preview nights or on opening nights; and the times we went out to eat, went for yee sang, and shot short films at all sorts of locations; some scary even! So, here's a list of who I remember to part of this little fellowship:
1.Myself 2.Michelle 3.Joy 4.Mien 5.Yu Ming 6.Alfred Loh 7.Clarice 8.Bridget 9.Chut Liang 10.Jonathan Yap 11.James Tan 12.Eugene 13.Li Wai 14.Amy Lim
Those who are part of this gang and not on the list, well, you do know you ain't in the stinkin' country right? =D Benny and Alfred Pang, we wish you fools were here! A few on the list werent always with us, but you guys are very much a part of us now! =) If I've missed anyone out, just msg, call me or leave a comment and let me know. I need confirmations and volunteers to arrange this reunion =)

Arise...Lord Vader! Man...I'm so psyched and cannot wait to watch Revenge of the Sith! A friend of mine is so kind to be giving me tickets to watch the preview. Wonder when that's gonna be *grins*

Restoration
** From today's wonderful sermon at Church, shared by Jedi Master Tan Soo Inn =) **
The Restoration Mandate - Galatians 6:1-10
1. Sin is destructive
2. That is why God calls the church to rescue those who are caught in it.
3. The purpose of such rescuing initiatives are restorative, not punitive.
4. Which is why it is to be done gently.
5. Indeed those doing the restoration must be aware that they themselves can fall too.
6. Which is why only those who are mature spiritually should take leadership in such restorative initiatives.
7. Helping people come back from a pth of sin is one way we carry one another's burdens and fulfill the law of Christ.
It was good seeing Master Jedibaba again, although I didn't expect to and it came as a surprise seeing him walk through the doors of BLC. The first time I heard him speak at BLC, he was just another stranger to me. During the 2nd visit, I was more attentive and we got to talk a little bit. After that, he made his Jedi presence felt on this blog and Sivin told me some of his comments which made me feel unworthy and embarrassed. Today, there was a sense of friendship, and respect. I enjoyed today's service a lot. I'm not one of those weird or fanatical Christians. I accept him for who he is and it's not my place or anyone's to judge his past. We are sinners too, and hey, we're talking restoration here! =) I enjoy his talks, he's a good speaker with lots of good insights and experiences.
For some unexpected reason, Jedibaba said this to me during our first conversation today before service began, "I'd be very surprised if a couple told me they didn't argue. In fact I'd be very worried. It's a good thing when people argue, it shows that they care about something or some things enough". Very interesting, although I don't know why he suddenly talked about couple stuff *haha*

I was digging into my sandwich during refreshments after service when I noticed little Elysia tucked in comfortably and peacefully. I couldn't resist and just snapped away. While taking all those pictures, I couldn't help but notice just as everyone has been, that she looks a whole lot like Gareth did when he was born. Anyway, she's so adorable =) Her hair looks really cool by the way!
I'm gonna cut my hair tomorrow hopefully. Am tired of my hair looking this way and making me feel this way. It's time for a change. I'm also afraid of being like my dad and start balding *gulp* I'd be darned but I reiterate as I always have that if and when I do begin to bald, I'll take it all off. There are a couple of people scaring me by saying my hairline's receding, man...I don't think it has changed since I was in secondary school.
After almost 3 years, I finally became a member of the church library today! I've never been much of a reader, kinda lost the knack for reading since I was a boy. Why? Well, that's a story for another blog entry I guess. I borrowed 2 books today for the first time! One was a recommendation by Sivin, something to help me, called 'Leadership by the Book' and the other is a book with a concept that has intrigued me for a long time, called 'Letters from a skeptic'. I'm not sure yet but I have a feeling I could shoot a short film or something based on a concept like this. We'll just have to wait and see.
Another busy week ended today. Another week with a need for resolution. For now, there isn't one yet. Will there be restoration? Who knows? I'll leave it to God. For now, I'm tired. I need His help. Whatever happens, whatever it is, I'll trust and fear nothing.

Waiting...
"Learning to wait is a process of growth".
and
"God says there is a value in waiting; in expectancy for God's promises".
I don't like waiting to be honest. I never did. I still don't. The strange thing is, I'm most patient during the times you wouldn't expect me to be, and I'm most impatient when it's times you think I would be. Well, I'm learning to wait, learning to be more patient.
Waiting in expentancy,
surrendered to Your sovereignty,
I'm hungry for true intimacy Lord,
For the things of your heart...
and
