I've been having some good times with my family, lately. Not that other times aren't so good, but I happened to have my camera along these times.
On Friday, some of us traveled up to Nauvoo, Illinois, to be with Keenan and Suzanne as they received their endowments in the temple. Keenan rode with Suzanne's family, while Rob and I rode in Kizzie's van with her and Sarah. Rob actually drove to, and I from. There was very heavy flooding in northeast Missouri, so we were on the rode about 30-45 minutes longer than we expected, each way. It was still a lovely, special day. Jonah and Laura hosted us, very kindly, and fed all of us.
Saturday, I spent almost the whole day at Sarah's house. Emma and I were supposed to be working on dresses for Keenan's wedding day, which we did. But, I also took a short walk with Tessa to take pictures. It's fun to share interests with my grandchildren. We took several shots, but it is hard to capture what the eye really sees. I did get this one of a bird way out in the middle of a wheat field. Emma and I did get a lot of prep-work done for the dresses, and a little sewing.
Later on Saturday, Rob and I babysat Avery and Jack while their parents went to Andy's 10th high school reunion. We had a lot of fun. Those boys are a blast!
