We attended Don Winkie's funeral this morning. Don was one of those people who was always happy, and always seems to have been learning and growing. I think life was an adventure for him. He was also our daughter-in-law Kristina's dad. His death was unexpected, and more of a shock for it. The service was very nice.
Funerals cause me to reflect on my own life. Are my priorities straight? Am I doing the things that are most important? Am I enjoying each and every day to the fullest?
So, I went for a short drive around Kidder. The weather was perfect - mid-60s and sunny. There were a few clouds in the sky and a slight breeze. Perfect!
In my meanderings, I saw some things that were lovely; and 'Springy.' Of course I had my camera with me, so I'm sharing with you! I hope you are having a beautiful day. :)
