Now is the time for hearts to get on fire for Jesus
Now is the time for the Church to breakthrough and grow
Now is the time for every zone and CG to grow
Now is the time for leaders to arise
Now is the time for us to rise up
Now is the time for us to love the people
Now is the time for us to run with our Pastors
Now is the time for God to move
Now is the time to pray for hearts to be opened
Now is the time to pray for growth
Now is the time for hoGc to breakthough 1000!

NOW IS THE TIME ... ...

Let's all be part of the move of God. It is NOW!

LET'S GO!

John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Simplicity

SIMPLICITY

2 Cor 1:12
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

Just for fun... ...

Fun Reading Test!

Lord, in the fullness of my might,
I would for Thee be strong:
While runneth o’er each dear delight,
To Thee should soar my song.

I would not give the world my heart,
And then profess Thy love;
I would not feel my strength depart,
And then Thy service prove.

I would not with swift wingèd zeal
On the world’s errands go,
And labor up the heavenly hill
With weary feet and slow.

O not for Thee my weak desires,
My poorer, baser part!
O not for Thee my fading fires,
The ashes of my heart!

O choose me in my golden time:
In my clear joys have part!
For Thee the glory of my prime,
The fullness of my heart!

Favourite hymn of Peter Fleming, martyred along with Nate Saint, Roger Youderian, Ed McCully and Jim Elliot in the jungles of Ecuador.

All these man died in the prime of their lives, while reaching out ot the Auca Indians. Jim Ellion wrote in his diary before his death "He is no fool to gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."

E Zone

Looking through the old photos on my laptop, I found a very interesting photo

It was a picture the zone took a very very long time ago... (Feb 2005 I think ...)

Isn't it really interesting? It was a long time ago... when Esmonde, Jacky and Ian was still in the zone. Miss you guys man... Ha ha ... ... Chek Yeow and Samuel with their longer hair. But I think not every one was in the photo too.

A few thoughts came to my mind as I looked at the photo.

Firstly - I saw all the people that has been with us for so long. People that have grown in God and stuck on to God. People that said they would follow Jesus and never turned back.

People like, Gina, Karen, Yvonne, Winnie, Chek Yeow, Samuel, Wei Hao, Bryan, Xinyi (Chloe), Shu Ying... etc... and of course people like Jeremy and Jackson who has been around since day one.

I'm just want to say that I know all of them personally and I know each of them had their own fights and challenges to overcome in their walk with God but each of them chose to stick with God and to trust in Him.

It's so interesting to remember the first time Winnie came. She was the first girl I shared Jn 3:16 with. It was quite scary. She was like the first girl in our church that came with dyed hair ha ha. Then I remember the first person I intergrated when I was in army was Wei Hao. Also remember when people like Davis first came. You all have really came a long way. Keep going, keep walking with God.

You guys are great...

Secondly - There are also some that are no longer with us now. I believe that many of them knew God is real but somehow still did not walk the narrow gate and the narrow way. It's sad that they are missing out on God's plans for their lives. We still love them and pray that one day they would come back to walk with God again.

Thirdly - I want to say I'm so happy that people like Kang Yu is back with us again. He is one that has came back to walk the narrow gate and way with the rest of us. He was missing for a while but now he's fully back with God again!

Fourthly - It's exciting to see how we have grown... both in our individual walk with God and in new people joining us...

I believe that if God has brought us from this to where we are today, God will bring us from here to greater breakthroughs. God will grow the church and zone both in quality and quantity.

I love everyone in E Zone. =)

Gal 6:9 "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
I love my God, I love my Pastors, I love my church, I love my zone...

Spend quite a lot of time with various people the last week...

It was really fun, from hanging out having steamboat with some of the leaders, watching underdog with the Chun Cheng people... (it was quite a silly show), having mac donald's breakfast with 3 awesome girls, sentosa outing with the rest of the zone and meeting some people through the week...

Had supper at newton circles with the staff too...

I love this feeling... this is what church is... It's about relationships, being a family, living out lives together. It's not just about just running an organization, doing the task... but it's about people and relationships...

Btw... ... Li yue testimony this weekend was great! (clap clap*)

My Pastors

I really thank God for my Pastors, without them, I would never be where I am today.

They are my spiritual parents, Pastors, leaders and more than that I'm fortunate to have them as my Uncle and Auntie as well! How cool is that?

Here's just some excerpts from the testimony I shared in Sweden.

... ... Three years later, I started attending Heart of God Church. It was here where I experienced many powerful encounters with God and decided to give my life to Jesus. As I grew up in the house of God, surrounded with much love from my spiritual family, my 13-year old heart began to understand the true meaning of God’s love.

Pastors became like spiritual parents to me. As they knew I was not able to go out with my parents very often, they would often bring me out to spend time with me. Whether it was a trip to McDonalds or simply hanging out at their house, I treasured those times a lot because for once in my life I felt significant and valued. ... ...

... ...Church was also where I caught a vision to be a guitarist for God. When I was much younger, I tried learning the piano and subsequently the guitar. However, I had a lot of difficulty picking up either instrument and both times I gave up. Having failed to learn not one, but two instruments, I regarded myself as a non-musical person. However, Pastors believed in me and Pastor How even arranged weekly lessons to teach me how to play the guitar. Having someone who had so much faith in me caused me to believe in myself and inspired me to begin mastering the instrument. Today, whenever I step on the stage to play my guitar, I know I would not have be where I am without God, my Pastors and my family in Heart of God Church.

5 minutes

Just decided to do post since I have 5 mins free...

The 1 -3pm no name thing was really great. It really reminds me of last time when we had prayer meetings in our church every week. God really spoke to me and I'm so challenged to depend on God more and to pray, pray, pray !!!! I believe that God is going to move in our church and the zone!

Today's service was great too... ... Every service in heart of God church is like a revival meeting.

Wow every week our pastors are preparing 3 different sermons just for us. What a privilege to have such great and hard working pastors that really love us!

We are in an AWESOME church!

I'm back again

Wow last weekend services were powerful, I'm sure those that were there would agree. This is what heart of God church is about!

Ha ha everyone is on facebook! Fighting, poking and infecting everyone else....
Sneaky Dexter took photos of Resonance having prac on sunday night...

Something Pastor How shared in his sermon... ...
"The economy of the Kingdom of God is quite simple.Every new step in the Kingdom costs us everything we have gained to date.Every time we cross a new threshold, it costs us everything we now have.Every new step may cost us all the reputation and security we have accumulated up to that point. It costs us our life.A disciple is always ready to take the next step.If there is anything that characterizes Christian maturity, it is the willingness to become a beginner again for Jesus Christ. It is the willingness to put our hand in His and say, "'I'm scared to death, but I'll go with you. You're the Pearl of great price.'" (John Wimber)
