Choir practices have come to an end. The performance yesterday was a success and the buffet dinner was fantastic. But the success is coupled with me screwing up my Physics Quiz today. And what follow are more tests and exams. I'd say my happiest days in university thus far will be during choir practices and performance (yes, performance and not performances, for I've only performed once up till now). I'm looking forward to the choir camp and the carolling sessions! I won't have to spend this Christmas season alone at home anymore!

I'm doing some research now for my speech tomorrow. I'm doing something about the human brain and I discovered that I use both my left and right brain equally when processing information. In other words, neither of the sides dominates. No wonder I can't do humanities subjects and I keep on flopping mathematics and sciences. Saddened!

I am rather high lately! The Korean songs I am listening this week gave me quite a lift! I love Korean songs! And I am happy today(Wed) because I finally did some decent revision for my CA2/Exams.

Anyway, the only imperfection today is that... I WASTED 1.25HRS OF MY LIFE QUEUEING FOR A FREE BURGER!! Curse the EEE Club. What kind of efficiency is this. They have hundreds of students and staff queueing for the burgers but there was only one pathetic counter checking the Matriculation card. I don't even know why must they check our matriculation card in the first place. The worst thing is, when I received the burger (finally), there was only one piece of chicken stuffed between two pieces of bread. WHERE IS THE LETTUCE!? Running short of lettuce is certainly not an excuse. Is this how MacDonald's treat their customers!? How can they lower the quality of their food just because it's meant to be given-away?! Shame on them.

zzz.. er zi called me up at night telling me that he's heading to Zouk!! ArghHhH!!! Mambo night!! You don't know how much I miss the retro music there. Haiz.. Had my exams been not so near, I would have gone too. And guess what.. He just sms me telling me that he saw Julia! AhhHh!! I miss my 'boss'!! Sia lah. I must make it a point to chiong with her after my exams. I owe her so much! I haven't stepped into a club ever since the start of school! Not even a pub!

Bah. Exams come first. I must put everything aside for now!

Oh oh by the way, I want to go Changi Airport to catch a glimpse of AirBus A380! I just watched a documentary on Discovery Channel on AirBus A380 and I am so impressed by those awesome engineers who managed to build such an incredible machine!!! 856 passengers, 22 wheels, 4 giant engines.. Omg. Impressive indeed, don't you think so? I love engineers, because they simplify things and make this world a better and more suitable place to live in!

My school (or the MAE Club) will be giving out goodie bags and providing us students free exam supper tomorrow (Thu). I hope the MAE Club can do a better job than the EEE Club! Must do us MAE students proud! Haha

FreebieeEe!!! Here I come!!!

Hello, I paid my school fees ok? So I must fully benefit from whatever the school can provide me with. Hohoho.

Out of my sight; Out of my mind.

No, that's not good enough. It should be:

Out of my mind; Out of my life!

Had a wonderful time this (Friday) afternoon taking photos at Esplanade, for my elective module. Sadly, those photos which I have taken do not have the solitary feeling that I hope to bring out. The deadline is around the corner but my creativity is still on a strike.

Lastly,

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY DEAR JIAN WEI!!!
Mummy loves you! Welcome to the twenties club!! =D
Sleep earlier and please eat more!
-huggs!-

I'm too imperfect to be considered as someone nice. I'm too unreasonable to be someone reasonable. I'm always trying too hard. It is time to do some reflection again.

I haven't tried gazing at the sky for a long time. I miss the starry night sky in Japan. I miss the fireflies at the river banks of Malaysia. I'm not looking forward to my Mt. Kinabalu trip as much now. The destination and activity are fantastic. Yet, a wonderful trip includes many other factors. Tickets and accommodations have been booked. There is no way for me to make a U-turn now. In short, this sucks.

Anyhow, I'll be on stage again next week, after 2 and a half years! This is my first ever choir performance and I am really looking forward to it. We will be dancing while singing. I CAN'T DANCE FOR NUTS! And my SL let me stand in the first row somemore! AhHhh!!! I cry!

And I haven't seen my dad since Lunar New Year this year! I miss him! =(

TeeheE! Dear bro YL came down to visit us in school today! It feels so great to see the class guys (well, I met HW on Sunday and my twin last Wednesday)!! I miss my JC classmates so much, especially those girls that I don't get to see in school, like XT, Joyce, Shweta snd HX!!!

And I need to express my love for Photoshop here. I LOVE PHOTOSHOP TO THE MAX! Bahh.

I enjoy going choir practices! It's pretty fun and the songs we sing are nice! There will be quite a few carolling sessions throughout December. I am considering to withdraw from the ODAC trip in order to turn up for more carolling sessions. I've just got my gown on Monday and I think it really looks nice! (maybe I should take a photo of myself in my gown)! Haha.

I wonder how are Zz and Jansen doing in India.. Live firing is rather dangerous and I am worried for them to certain extent.

I have quite a few weird habits I realise. I like to sit right at the front in a bus(behind the bus driver) during bus rides. I like to take long bus rides and I find it amusing. I like to sleep on single beds (means I don't like to sleep on Queen-sized beds even if I am not sharing it with anyone else). I don't ever peel off the shells of the prawns I'm eating unless it is too hard to be eaten.

Just some random thoughts.

Updates!

Exams are coming! OH NOOOO! And the concert is coming up too! Need to dance along with the song sia. Sian -_-" I just can't dance for nuts. And I have yet to memorise the lyrics. AhhHhh!!!

I am looking forward to the things that I'm going to do after my exams! Very much! I would be:

1. Volunteering at the Standard Chartered Marathon Booth,
2. Going Johor Bahru for Rotaract Camp,
3. Participating in the Choir Camp,
4. Going to climb Mt. Kinabalu for the 3rd time in my life,
5. Joining the ODAC members at Satong, Malaysia, for a 3-day-2-night adventure trip,
6. Carolling at various places.

So many things going on after the exams! Exciting heh!

Zz and Jansen are going Mumbai, India, for live firing next week! All the best guys!! Take careee! I want roti prata and curry from Mumbai! LOL

Andy is going Brunei for training next week too!! Jia you jia you Andy! Thanks for getting my earpiece for me! Take careee!!

02 October 2007

Oh man I can't believe how unlucky I have been in the past 2 weeks. Firstly, my laptop was attacked by some unknown virus and it forbids me from downloading any antivirus software. Even CD-rom couldn't work! I have to reformat the computer in other words. The good thing is that at least I still could use the laptop (thanks to Grace's CD-rom), if not I won't be blogging now. Also, I was able to back up all my files before the virus could detect the external memory disk. Phew. Thanks to downloading privated Adobe Photoshop CS3.

I wanted to go AMK to find a friend to get my earpiece on Saturday. BUT. I missed 3 buses! The first one was because I had to transfer bus and the 852 drove past the busstop before my bus could catch up with it. I was at the busstop waiting for the second 852, without my spectacles. And bloody hell! I didn't see it coming until it was quite near the busstop, and the driver just sped past me! Feeling like a loser, I decided to take a bus back to the interchange to take 852 from there instead. Just before my bus entered the interchange, I saw the third 852 driving out from the interchange. o(-_-")o AhhHhhh!!!! And I gave up and went home instead.

And guess what. I am sitting right outside my house now while typing this entry. Why? Because I forgot to bring my keys!!!!! aRghhHHh!!! The probability of me forgetting to bring me keys would be 3 out of365 days in a year, or less. SIAN! Good thing is that my mum is on the way back so I'll be saved soon.

Meeting twin later for dinner!

I'm glad that I finally completed my formal lab report!

Photos will be up once someone helps me to format my comp (it's not that I don't know how to do it, it's just that things gets a little too complicated for me to handle).
