It's the end of another day (ok, I know it's actually 3 hours into the next day already)!
I got through the audition! It's a brand new experience and I'm looking forward to whatever that's going to come! I've made up my mind and will be moving out of my bunk at the end of this month. I miss my mama and I don't want to leave her alone at home. My house isn't that far from school anyway. Most importantly, I can save up to S$160 a month! Haiz, sad thing is, I have yet to have supper with Joseph! And by the way, Julian saw me today too! I walked past him without looking at his direction and hence didn't get to see and stop to talk to him. Amazingly he can still recognise me after 4 years! He even could identify my voice and match my name to it (well, he lost his phone and so was my number)! I'm getting pretty restless. How I wish the CA week could end soon. And I can't wait to attend the Photoshop CS workshop next week! I don't mind being an image editor in some magazine industry should I fail to find a job after I graduate. Below: Don't know where my cousin find this super old photo of me. Look at my hair! HAHAHA! ![]() Alright time to sleep! Goodnight! 12 September 2007
I killed 3 mosquitoes today! They are always ambushing you in the toilet cubicles or bathrooms. zzz. Bloody blood suckers. The first thing I have to do in the hall toilet is to search for mosquitoes and flatten them! Haha.
I'm liking material science more and more! This is a completely new subject and thus really fascinates me. Besides, my tutor is such a cute 40-year-old uncle! Haha honestly I think he looks like my dad, just that he's slimmer and he has moustache. LoL. I must be missing my dad too much. Aiya but my tutor is good nonetheless, despite his funny but cute China accent. I remember reading through the notes before the first tutorial and had lots of question to ask him for I couldn't understand what the lecturer was talking about. However, he explained EVERYTHING utterly clearly to us during the lesson. All my questions were answered and I didn't even need to go and consult him! So sad that I won't get to see him again after this semester! =( Tips to saving a handsome sum of money while living in the hall - bring your own bread and apples (or other fruits) from home! They sell 2 slices of bread with some fillings (AKA Sandwich) in the canteen for S$1. But hello, I can get one whole loaf of bread at NTUC for S$1! LoLs. I'd recommend you to get wholemeal bread, for there's more fibre and thus can keep you full for a longer period of time. 5 days with no refridgeration will not cause the bread to rot and decay, trust me! For apples, 3 (or 2) halves cost about S$1, depending on which canteen you go to. There in NTUC, you can get 5 apples for less than S$2!! Hall living is a waste of money to me sia. I really saved quite a lot (though eventually I used the money to expand my wardrobe) from not buying anything (other than milk, for it's cheaper in school) from the canteen. So what if people call me a cheapo? Haha. Well, the Chinese calls it "放长线,钓大鱼". I need to save up for my car and my backpack trip! Bahhh..! I got back my results for the very first quiz in university! I got a very big, fat 'C'! Saddened!! CA Week next week! Gambetta neH! Photojournalism: These are not toys. They are candies ok? AKA gummies! SO CUTE LAH! I saw this beautiful Bug on the wall on my way to the pantry.P/S: FROGGER!!! GO AND SHAVE!!! YUCKKKKSSSSS!!!!!!! P/P/S: After some consideration, I decided not to be so mean. I take back what I had said in the previous entry. I cannot change what had already happened but I am still capable of changing what's going to happen! Thank you Zz! Yay! Finally I have the chance to do some decent revision today. And I decided to have an early night tonight for it'll be another long day tomorrow, with 6 hours of lecture!
I made 2 new friends today! Both are from my Effective Comm class. We will be doing our very first group assignment this coming week! Haha I am the only girl in the group again! Bahhh.. I haven't been updating my diary since A levels last year. So many things happened in these 8 months. I wonder when will I ever bother to jot them down one by one. I have to say that the year 2007 hasn't been an easy year for me. Many stories have come to an end and at the same time new chapters are beginning. And I guess my emotional outbreaks are caused by my poor emotion management skills. It is really time to reflect and revise my skills. Never have I been so emotional other than that year. I learnt my lesson in a hard way and I am not going to make the same mistakes. No one should ever control my emotions other than myself. Being unreasonable is by choice. The thing is, do I have to be reasonable in this case? For who and for what? I don't see why I should change the way I am. Perhaps unless miracle happens, for anything is possible. Ruth says that I am more 'quiet' now. Haha maybe. But I guess I would be happier if I could still be the tomboy I used to be. Julia is right, many people around us are starting to break down. Why? 11 September 2007
Zz told me that you'll never really someone completely, but I guess I did. I am listening to some of the oldies he sent me. It's hard to find someone who loves oldies as much as he does. Several years down the road he had coloured my life with beautiful and moving oldies. He is someone that I really hate to lose but I don't have a choice this time. 5 years of friendship had gone with the wind. I don't know if I would ever find another person who is willing to listening to all my whinings and give me advice whenever I need them. It's really hard to let someone that you talk to almost everyday go. He shaped certain ways I think and influenced me so much, especially the way I perceive love and interpret its meanings. His words gave me strength. He's one of the guys that I respect the most in my life. I am willing to forgive him for whatever he did, but I guess it's already too late.
I miss talking to you, friend. This entry is dedicated to my lost friend, J. 09 September 2007
Oh gosh I haven't been updating for such a long time! It's not that I have nothing to blog about, it's just that the connection speed in my bunk is so slow that it'll take a donkey years to load a page sometimes. zzz. Well, the entry will date all the way back to National Day. Haaha. Guess what, I'm watching Legend of 1900 while updating this entry. LoL. It's an old movie but a nice old one.
