I'm going to work OT tomorrow! Need to earn as much as possible to achieve my dream. I dislike the CPF policy ok. It's sucking away 20% of my salary, which is damn a lot to me. I know the money will eventually come back to me, but what I need now is not savings but cash! I need money that can be withdrawn so that I can use them for backpacking. I can always start contributing to the CPF when I'm officially joining the society right? I think the Singapore Government should set a minimum age for collecting CPF. Say 25 maybe? At least not during our teenage years when what we need more is cash rather than savings! zzz.

hmm. I don't know if the Mt. Kinabalu trip this year will really be on eventually or not, but I'm looking forward to it, very. Anyway, thanks for taking it seriously at least, guys! =))

I don't love you because you are my friend, I love you because I do!
Very well said, isn't it?

Photojournalism:

Went to Timbre last Saturday. Too bad Zz you missed it! East Indian Company is a superb band. Even josh said so, haha.
Lychee Freeze and Sex on the Beach. Both tasted great.
Went to Marina Square on Sunday and saw their CNY decorations. I like colourful stuff!

Was reading through Zz's blog's archives just now and came across this entry. Felt inspired again after reading it through for the second time.

::: JuNe LiAnG:::

It's hard for two people to love each other when they live in two different worlds...But when these two worlds collide and become one. That's what u call...MAGIC!

If you're AFRAID to love a person because of friendship, you have 2 choices, either tell what you feel and let the love take place forever or hide the feeling under a friendship full of PRETENSIONS.

Sometimes I've asked myself, what would make me HAPPY?
To think that I have everything else, I get what I want....
Then I REALIZED IT WAS YOU, too bad 'coz it's YOU I can't have.......
Love can never be so beautiful without FRIENDSHIP
One leads to another and the process is IRREVERSIBLE
The BEST of lovers is the GREATEST of friends!!!
Love DOESN'T have to have a HAPPY ending,
'Coz love doesn't have to end at all.

When you love someone, DON'T expect that person to love you back the same amount.
One of you will be ahead, the other behind.
It's either you catch up or the other waits.
Never be AFRAID to fall in love.
It may HURT a lot, it may give you aches and pains, but if you DON'T follow your heart, in end you will cry even more for not giving love a chance.

I'm sorry if you can't love me the way you loved the one before me, so I'll let you go to find him/her and hope someday you'll see that the TRUE LOVE you're looking for was the one who set you FREE.
Isn't it funny?? We're trying to catch the attention of the one we think we love. We hardly NOTICE them till they are in the arms of someone else....

Love is like standing on wet cement, the LONGER you stay, the HARDER it is to leave and you can never go without leaving your prints behind....

THINK OF THIS:
Have you really cared for someone more than you expected?
Have you ever tried to love him/her despite of all the pain?
Will you keep on loving him/her even if he/she whispers someone else's name? Will you???

True love hears what is not spoken, and understands what is not explained, for love doesn't work in the mouth, nor the mind, but in the heart......
When you love, you must NOT accept anything in return, for if you do, you're not loving but INVESTING.

If you love, you must PREPARE to accept pain.
For if you expect HAPPINESS, you are not loving but USING.....
I like you because you're my friend and I care, and because I CARE,
I LOVE you, I don't love you because you are my FRIEND....
I Love you because I do!!!!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
It's better to lose your pride with someone you love rather than lose someone you love with your useless pride.
I can't choose who I'm gonna love, but I also can't just love who chooses to love me....
and you can't blame me in choosing to love you as much as I can't BLAME you for not learning to love me.

How can I say GOODBYE to someone I never had???
Why do TEARS fall for someone who was never mine?
Why is that I MISS someone I was never with and I ask why I love someone who's LOVE was never MINE?

Don't love a person like FLOWER, cause a flower dies in SEASON.
Love them like a RIVER cause river flows FOREVER......

Love may leave your heart like SHATTERED GLASS, but keep in mind that there's someone who'll be WILLING to endure the pain of picking up pieces so you could be WHOLE again....
Somehow, it reminds me of jigsaw puzzles ....
It requires time, endurance n patience to fixed a whole picture...
I know it's tough...my friend told mi that!!!

The best & most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched
They must be felt with the heart
Love is a choice
When we meet the right person to love,
When we're at the right place at the right time,
That's chance.

When you meet someone you're attracted to,
that's not a choice.
That's chance.

Being caught up in a moment (and there's alotof couples who get together because of this) is not a choice.
That's also a chance.

The difference is what happens afterwards.
When will you take that infatuation, that crush, that mind-blowing attraction to the next level?
That's when all sanity goes back, you sit down and contemplate whether you want to make this into a concrete relationship or just a fling.
If you decide to love a person, even with his faults,
That's not a chance.
That's choice.

When you choose to be with a person, no matter what,
That's choice.

Even if you know there are many people out there who are more attractive, smarter, and richer than your mate,
and yet,
you decide to love your mate just the same,
That's choice.

Infatuation, crushes, attraction comes to us by chance.
But true love that lasts is truly a choice.
A choice that we make.

Regarding soul mates, there's a beautiful movie quote that I believe is so true about this:
"Fate brings you together, but it's still up toyou tomake it happen."
I do believe that soul mates do exist.
That there is truly someone made for you.
But it's still up to you to make the choice if you're going to do something about it or not.
We may meet our soul mates by chance,
but loving and staying with our soul mates is still
A Choice we have to make.

We came to the world not by finding someone perfect to love...
BUT to learn how to love an imperfect person Perfectly...

Conclusion:
It is not the matter how to find someone perfect to love,
but how to love someone imperfect perfectly.....
Love itself is a choice.

Employed finally!

This job has a better pay, and it's nearer to my house. The welfare for the staff is excellent, with Karaoke and Mahjong table provided in the office. LoL. But I have to work on both weekends! Saddening! Luckily it's only till 6pm, meaning at least I'll have some night life. If not I'll cry, man!

Oh I've uploaded some photos onto online albums, so that I can delete the soft copies with no worries. Check them out at the right column. I'm trying to compile an album specially for S15, meaning '04, '05 and '06 S15. Please contribute generously! Special thanks to the class blog, Xiao Ting's blog and Zhijun's blog.

Anyway, the girls met up for dinner today in town. Such gatherings really made my day.

I'm down with fever! And I'm still unemployed.. Perhaps I'm the last few in the class who have yet to find a job. No more pocket money. Don't dare to ask from my parents anymore. I'm so broke. I need a job asap!

And QS! Thanks for whatever you've told me =D

Managed to upload the videos I took in Taiwan.

Padi Fields.

At Sun Moon Lake.

Adventure in my hotel room.

23 January 2007

Hey I'm backk! Taiwan is a nice place! The oceans, the mountains, the padi fields.. So nice! Too bad the time I had there was so little. I have yet to explore so many places there.

And by the way, Taiwan guys are better looking than those in Singapore (don't kill me!, personal opinion)! When you are walking down their night markets right, you just throw a stone in any direction and you'll hit someone who's above 1.8m!! I don't mind migrating there lah.

I would like to go Taiwan again if there's a chance.

Below are the photos. Lots of them.

Photojournalism:

Day 1

These two guys gave me a surprise by waking up at around 6am in the morning just to see me off at the airport. Damn touched ok. Thank you dearies!! =D
Now compare these two photos. This one was taken in October 2005. Our poses are almost the same, somehow. Haha.
Lay Ning and I at Hong Kong International Airport (transition).
The famous Lovers' Bridge (Qing Ren Qiao) at Dan Shui.
On one side of the bridge.
The top of the bridge.
Me and the lovely place.
On the other side of the bridge.
Dan Shui night market.
Shi Lin night market. They have all sorts of bubble tea. The Ji Pa ( fried chicken breast) is superb ok? It's a must-eat!

Day 2

Weijia and Lay Ning. Early in the moring, at the hotel room's balcony.
At some mountainous area.
Nature and I.
TaDa!!! This is the Pacific Ocean!!! Nice right!?!? The photo looks dirty because it was shot through the coach's window, which was extremely dirty. -_-"
Me! In the coach.
Got lobster for lunch lah!
Some performance put up by the natives of the place.

Day 3

This is at Parkview Hotel. I had my breakfast here, and outside the window you can see mountains and flowers. No wonder it's called 'Parkview' Hotel.
Flowers!
The 3 of us!
Padi fields. Farmers in Taiwan do not use chemical fertilisers during plantation. They plant this type of plant with yellow flowers, called you2 cai4 hua1, in the ground first. When the time is right, they will use machine to grind these flowers into the ground, which will serve as natural fertilisers for the padi fields.
The 3 of us on 85 Building, in KaoShiung.
The Love River.
Romantic heh.
Takopachi balls! So much cheaper than Singapore's lah! You spend less than SGD$1.50 and you can get 6 of them. Taste not bad by the way.

Day 4

Me, outside this very special and unique restuarant.
Look at their cups and bowls! So stone age man.
Yummy!
Are you drooling already?
I was praying in front of Confusious, hoping that I won't flop my 'A' levels too badly =X
Flying! eh. Very hazy, I know.
It was so hazy that we saw nothing at the Sun Moon Lake. Just look at how hazy it is behind the 3 of us!

Day 5

The Tofu street. Stinky tofu!
At Yang Ming Shan National Park.
BleaH!
Coast!
Potholes. Feel like attending a geography field trip leh!
Up on Yang Ming Shan.

Day 6

Zhong Zheng memorial.
Army man! But not very handsome leh..
Heros who scarificed themselves to protect their homeland.

=D
Lay Ning and I. Wahahaha army man!
Outside the museum.

The scenary is nice lah.
Jiang Jie Shi's memorial.
=D
Bow..
I love this kind of flowers!! A type of daisy that is.
Look at types of alcoholic drinks I found in my hotel room. There are more inside the refrigerator. Taipei 101 building! It's just outside my hotel room's window!
Sun Yat Seng. Salute.
Taipei 101 building at night.
The fountain outside the building. Impressive.
Glancing at the whole of Taipei on top of the 101 building.
Another view.
I was there! =D

Goodbye, Taiwan.
