Kindergarten Farm Fieldtrip

One of the advantages of Isaac being the last child is that I get to participate with a lot of his class activities.  Today, despite the freezing temperatures, we headed to HeeHaw farm for a kindergarten field trip.  Besides the fun slides and play equipment, we saw baby farm animals, planted seeds and took a hay ride.

The Birthday Party (complete with coloring pages, a treasure hunt which included digging for their loot bags in the flower bed, a pirate pinata, cake and ice cream, a pirate story and opening presents.  Left to right: Hadlee, Isaac, Vickie, and Josh.

 

Late in the day after flying kites and seeing G Grandma & Grandpa, while Isaac played with his birthday toys, he made the comment, "it's been a really fun day!"  That's exactly what a Mom hopes for!
