Sisters Weekend!

This last weekend we had our annual sisters weekend.  We were sure sad that Annette couldn't make it out this year, but are glad that her daughter Jessica could fill in for her.  We all met on Friday afternoon for Pedicures then we did some shopping at Tai Pan and dinner.  After dinner Julie was telling us all about these amazing ice cream bars with freshly toasted almonds at Costco's snack bar.  So we ran down to Costco and got there right before they were closing, she was not joking these are amazing and heavy it almost hurt my wrist to eat.  After our wonderful ice cream adventure we went back to moms where Lisa waxed everyone's eyebrows.   A sisters weekend first.  She was a really good and we all had a lot of good laughs.
Saturday we went shopping at the outlets in Park City, ate Cafe Rio and did some crafting at moms along with a chick flick.  Then the fun began!  The uncontrollable laughing was set in and we pulled out the fun dip.  This year we were brave and pulled it out before mom went to bed and she even joined in on the fun.  It was sure fun being with these ladies, I just can't get enough of my sisters.  Can't wait until next year!

St Patrick's Day!

This year St. Patrick's Day happened to be the same day as Boy's Club,  and on top of that Grandma Blake was here visiting.  So it was an extra special boys club.  Usually Luke and Matt play video games or make crafts or cook or just play.  But since it was St Patty's day we thought we would make it special.  So we went on a field trip to Lee's they rode in the car cart, we got green donuts and when we were leaving we got green balloons.

Boys club with Grandma!  Matt insisted on wearing his hot green pajama shirt all day and I thought well OK why not.   We talked him into changing into his buzz shirt before we went on our field trip.

Melanie home from Kindergarten

Luke and Matt, they really do have so much fun together.

Everyone had green on . . . but the kids noticed that Grandma didn't.  She thought her blue green shirt could pass as green.  We quickly found the girls green nail polish we used earlier that morning and painted her nails. Now Grandma does not paint her nails ever so this was pretty big to see her doing this.

That night the kid went on a St. Patty's Day treasure hunt and found a treasure.  They had a lot of fun !

Jenna 7 months

We just love our Jenna!  She is growing up way too fast.  She is now sitting up and thinks she is so big.  She is very vocal and makes a lot of sounds.  We just can't seem to get it caught on camera, but one of her favorite things to do it put both of her hands behind her head and relax.  We all think it is super cute!  We just love her beautiful eyes and the expressions we get from them.

Melanie is such a great helper with Jenna and loves to hold her when she gets home from school.

Look Who Has Glasses Now!

Kaitlyn!
She has been telling me for about a year now that she can't see very good.  Well I never really believed her and thought that she just wanted some glasses.  Well she got some fake glasses for Christmas, but never really wore them. So we  were at her 8 year old doctors check up and her doctor told me that she failed her eye exam, not just kind of failed it really failed it.  So we took her to the eye doctor and sure enough she has eyes worse than Brads.  I felt like the mom of the year not listening to her.  She loves being able to see now!  I never see her without her glasses.  I think that they grow her up too much but hey I guess it was bound to happen.  I think she is just beautiful!
