Happy Valentines Day

For the last two years we have been sick on Valentines Day either the kids or Jon and I.  Well most people might think oh big deal its a stupid holiday anyway.  But I really like Valentines Day, not because I ever got a candy gram or cheap heart shaped box chocolates or cheesy stuffed animals, but because my Mom made it a special day.  Coming from a family that communicates love through service and not words or gifts it was special to get a card on my freshly made bed after I came home from school reminding me that hey they really do love me along with some sort of little treat on my bed.  I decided to make Valentines special in my home.  Also to be noted Jon and I had a special in home Valentines date on our first Valentines together he came home from his mission the first week of February.  Well because we usually have small babies or sick kids I started making a nice meal on Valentines to eat at home.  I usually do steak because its just something I'm good at, sometimes crab legs, sometimes fancy bread, often mashed potatoes, and always steamed/grilled veggies.  I always arrange my flowers on a vase at the table and put out my nicest dishes and I light my 3 candle sticks.  Then we eat as a family put the kids to bed and enjoy a movie and usually a rich treat.  I didn't take any pictures this year really but wanted to document that Jon brought the kids home some vases full of candy and a fake rose.  Maddie thought it was awesome :) although she wondered why mine were real and hers were not she was excited.  I was not quite on my game so after a busy day at the salon all by myself I ran around town trying to find Princess Celestia the one pony she does not have.  I had Dane with me and he picked himself out a bus that was missing packaging that I could not pry from his fingers so I took it to the cashier and asked "Is this even for sale?"  I couldn't figure out where he got it and there were no other little school buses.  The cashier asked a manager and gave it to me for $4 and I took it home and found out it lit up and drives there's no way that was under $10.  Anyway I had made strawberries that morning for an orders and made up the rest of my big strawberries incase I had a last minute request so we called some friends to help take some off our hands because I made way too many.  Here's a picture of my strawberries this year.
Not to be confused with the ones I made last year :)
Way too many strawberries.

Kansas City Trip

Went to Kansas City last month to get away before Jon started back to school and our Walker family cousins the Coxes hosted our family and took us around to do lots of fun activities.  That first night we had delicious pot roast (Aunt Carols recipe) and then went to the school near by to play.  When we got back we had cinnamon rolls for dessert.

That next morning we went to

And panned for gold, gems, precious stones....

Practiced for milking cows...

Bottle fed those hungry baby goats...

Went fishing with real worms...
Caught one and it flopped back...

Slid out of a barn slide...

Saw some animals...

Then later we went to the Rec Center and floated in the lazy river and slid on the slides...

Then much later we went to Oklahoma Joes for some BBQ, mmm ribs...

That next morning we drove the 4-5 hours home...
It wasn't as quiet as it looks.
So lucky and grateful to have family 4 ish hours away.  It did however make me homesick.

Younique

You've been waiting for this post right?  :)

TO PURCHASE or BROWSE ANYTIME www.youniqueproducts.com/juleeheslop

Its been awhile since I've posted and its because I have been busy!  I simultaneously became a presenter to sell YOUNIQUE and I started as an assistant for Eraka at Salon Soul.  Exciting and exhausting but I wanted to show any followers or anyone googling 3D Fiber Lash or Younique makeup what its all about.
The Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash is the most popular product purchased at Younique.
The 3D Fiber Lash comes with two tubes.  One with "transplanting gel" and one with "fibers" made from green tea leaf.  Both are black in color and created with ALL NATURAL products.  Meaning its hypoallergenic.
Open both tubes in one hand, first apply gel thoroughly but quickly, then immediately fibers (from midlash to above tips), let set, switch to other eye repeat process, back to original eye seal together with gel, repeat on other eye.
Mineral eye pigments are crease free and free of talc and other fillers.  My favorite colors are sexy, confident, daring, devious.  Although I haven't played with the mattes yet.

My results with 3D Fiber lash, daring, curious, and devious as wet liner.

This mineral blush is fantastic, its bold in color yet blends so smoothly.  Love.
TOP- Mac 3D black mascara,  BOTTOM- Younique 3D Fiber Lash layered on top  (same day)
The difference is obvious, this 3D Fiber Lash is no joke.
Two tubes for $29, plus orders over $100+ get free shipping so shop around.
One coat, two coats, they always amaze.
With a little practice your lashes can look like this too :)
I need people to work with, I love this company.  I love this product and I feel like everyone across America needs to have this cute case in their purse.  If you're a stay at home momma or you have a passion for the beauty industry and makeup, contact me.  I had a 10 day party well it was actually 13 and not only did I hit my goal once I hit it 4 times.  I earned over $100+ in free product plus I make commission as a presenter for my sales.  I already paid for my kit and my son's birthday presents and party.  This mascara sells itself and I can help you too.
Yes money is deposited into an account every day for each purchase made that day.  Awesome right?  I a party off of hitting a 5% commission RAISE.  First part of May mark my words.
I had one rep sign up under me already and I need at least 2 more.  For $99 you get allllll this makeup valued approximately $400.  Not shown all blush and concealer testers as well.  Who wants to join me on this awesome journey?

Scottish Festival

Well we went to the Scottish festival or Tartan days I'm not exactly sure what it was called.  Here's some pictures as I'm sure your husband will probably not drag you to watch some highland games.  It was fun to get out of the house and Dane got his first sunburn now tan.

Highland games have an event similar to the shot put done with a stone!
Maddie said "why are all the boys wearing dresses?"
So many kilts, the Scottish don't mess around with their $500 wool kilts.
Merida was there and she was good she even sounded like she belonged in Brave.
I showed and told Maddie that this was the same breed as my childhood dog and the one that lived the longest I believe.  My collie was named Bandit this one's name was Findlay.
He was well groomed definitely not a farm dog :)
Is it weird that I loved the bag pipes and the music?
Bounce houses run by carnies stealing every spare dollar.
But she was happy.
More bag pipes.
It was soooo nice outside.
I don't know if this will actually play but it was neat to hear and watch.
