Dear Santa

Dear Santa,
Hi! I have been behaving accordingly in the past twelve months. So it's Christmas 'round the corner again, yeah, that's why I'm writing this to you! =D Hope you don't mind that I'm being so realistic. But I think you wouldn't mind, considering this being the first time in my 20 years living in this world to write to you. I haven't been asking much since I was young. But now I do have a tiny little request that I hope you can fulfil me during this Christmas. Sorry that I'm being so straightforward and longwinded. 'Cause as you see, this is the first time I'm writing to you and that I'm no more in teenage, I don't know whether this would make a difference or not, but I really hope you have the patience to finish reading my letter. Oh I haven't get straight to my point, haven't I. Okay, to be frank, I need a break desperately. Ah, this might sound ridiculous. As you may only capable of fulfilling materialistic children, aren't you? Anyway, I seriously hope that you can consider my wish. But if you seriously incapable of giving me that, I don't mind you dropping me a digital photo frame instead.
P.S. I don't have a chimney in my dorm. But you can always ring my doorbell (G11), I would be more than delighted to open the door for you! =) By the way, could you please wipe away those tears of them and put a smile on their faces?
P.P.S. I hope the font size is big enough to be legible. I'm darn considerate, am I not? =D
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely,
munwai.

Polygraph no more!

While I'm supposed to be learning something about pharmacology, I've learnt some psychology instead. I'm pretty sure most of you have heard of this but still...

If you wanna know whether somebody is telling lies or not...

1) Look into the eyes. They are afraid of eye contacts.
2) Liars tend to look to the left when they are lying. (This has something to do with the imagination part of the brain, which I don't know where the hell is that. Well, obviously, I haven't been studying my physiology again.) When people try to recall facts, they look to the right subconsciously.
3) They minimise communication. For example, they tend to use short reply to answer your questions.
4) They blink less. No laughs! Try to tell lies and see...
5) They use less hand movements or repetition of same movements.
6) Last one, your instinct lah duh! XD

Hmm. I think I should be studying psychology instead.

Note: This is just a rough/ inaccurate guideline merely concluded from the author's observation/ knowledge gained from Tvb series.
