my 1000th post - dedicated to the year of 2014
it has been a long long time since i last blogged.
i used to love blogging so as to keep track of memories.
however, laziness gotten over me and memories are all kept in my mind now.
nonetheless, i thought it's good if i can blog it at least during year-end
to summarise the key events that happened to me in this whole year.
to start the ball rolling, i shall summarise about the key things that happened to me and my boyf.
after all, most of the wonderful and new memories are created with him.
too much to say, but i shall just name a few.

thank you for your selfless love.
thankful for your never-ending care and concern for me.
despite the unhappiness and arguments that have happened to us this year,
but i know we will always be able to overcome everything.
may we always stay so lovingly and strong
and may our trust and faith be with us till the end of time.
being with you, is the best decision i've ever made :)

my 1st time experiencing winter-like temperature!
3 May 2014, our 1-day adventure at sentosa!
luge ride, sky ride & cable-car.
and that was the 1st time i took a cable-car!
he has finally fulfilled his promise to bring me there! :)
wonderful magical show "Cavalia" that caught my heart
that's the main highlight of our 5th year anniversary that he surprised me with.
14 August 2014, our 5th year anniversary.
a date that meant so much to me.
28 Sept 2014, my first time being someone's wedding sister.
it's boyf's friends who got married and it's amazing that they are from the same clique.
what's cooler is that the band of brothers and sisters are all from the same clique.
it was really fun and tiring on that day, but everything is worth it.
20 Dec 2014, christmas celeb with usual peeps!
12 hours of fun and it was really awesome!
if it wasn't of boyf, i weren't be able to know them
and what's more to take part in all the #leusualpeeps events!
so glad to be part of them and i really love them!
DOUBLE-DATE TAIWAN TRIP: 08NOV14 - 17NOV14
finally get to visit the country of our wishlist.
and this is my first time taking a flight with boyf too.
had so much fun during the 10 days spent with boyf, sis and sis' boyf!
awesome experience and i really love taiwan!
the temperature was really cool during that trip and it really made us dread the sunny weather in singapore!
and what more, this marks an fabulous holiday because it's also a graduation trip for sis and i
yes, we have finally graduated from SIM-RMIT!
but our graduation ceremony will only be held on Aug 2015 :)
our first destination: Alishan!
our second destination: Sun Moon Lake!
Day 3: Cingjing Farm
visited the green green grassland & swiss garden!
mad love with the scenery there
super beautiful that i don't mind visiting this place again!
Day 4 morning at He Huan Shan!
first time watching sunrise and it's really beautiful.
not forgetting the temperature was as low as 3.8 degree and the scenery is just..
too beautiful beyond words!
then we headed to Taichung on day 4.
didn't explore taichung much except for their Fengchia Night Market, which was really nice! :)
subsequently, spent the remaining days at taipei.
shopped a lot and visited many of the attraction at taipei.
shifen, jiufen, fisherman wharf @ tamsui, taipei zoo, gondola, taipei 101, most of their night markets, shopping places and tried many famous restaurants, food stalls at taipei too!
we even watched a movie and had a KTV session at taipei too!
the city life was really so much different from the mountainous area we spent in the 1st 3 days!
TAN FAMILY
so happy that i have quite a few family photo this year!
it's pretty hard to have a good family photo taken and as such,
i really treasure all these photos so much!
loving my family so much and i wish for prosperity, health and luck for all of us!

time flies~
baby niece is now 14 months old.
it's really amazing to see her grow up, achieve new milestones and learns new things.
she's really a smart baby!
even though she's getting naughtier, but her cuteness and all her funny/sweet acts and expression really melts my heart,
she has really brought so much joy to the family & i love her sooooo much!
sometimes i hope time can slow down a bit because she is really growing up TOO fast!
may she always remain so bubbly, healthy and sweet!
PEIJUN SISTER
as we grow older, we didn't get to meet up as often
we have our busy work and social life to attend to
but nonetheless, this doesn't affect our sister-ship.
it has been a decade & i still love you as much as i used to.
no gap is too big for us and time doesn't determine our love for each other
i love you, my sister!

1 March 2014, my 22nd bday surprise 'party' & picnic!
gfs went early to jap garden to set up the place with beautiful balloons, deco and photos!
i was really touched.
i never had a birthday party since i know the existence of this world.
i mean, i do have many birthday dinners and celebrations before,
but not something like this, a party i would called.
so happy to have known you girls!
and i really love each and everyone of you sooo much more than words can say!
hopefully we can have another 3 good guys to join us for our future outings soon!
POLY CLIQUE
loving this year because we got to meet up more often than year 2013
even though everyone of us have our commitments, but so long we can get to meet,
i'm happy enough.
cheers to more full-strength gatherings in the upcoming years!

this also marks our 4th overseas trip together!

bangkok & pattaya for our poly graduation trip.
hopefully we can have a full-strength overseas trip in the near future! :)

it has been long since we last had such a wonderful time together
bbq, bowling and chitchatting
love times like this and i hope we can have more of such moments together again.

OVERALL - ME
to sum up, 2014 has been a fabulous year for me.
had many first-time experiences and 2x overseas trip.
created many happy, awesome, beautiful and unforgettable memories that will stay with me forever.
even though there were some hiccups and unpleasant events that happened this year,
but happiness still outweigh them.
i believe unhappiness won't last and may optimism be with me always!
and this year, i have finally graduated from RMIT after 1,5 years of studies
which means that i will officially step into workforce next year.
waited for this day for the longest time, and i believe i really won't miss school life.
not uni life for sure.
but if i have to choose 1, i really miss my poly life.
anyway...
I LOVE 2014.
thank you for all the wonderful memories and experiences.
i love everyone who takes part to make my life a better one.
i really love my friends and family so much.
and this year just proven the same thesis to me.
i don't need many friends, i just need that few (groups of) true friends.
made many new friends this year but i know, they are just hi-bye friends.
probably will never get to see or talk to them again.
but still, i thank them for the memories given :)
so byee 2014, i await for a better 2015 ahead!
