Happy Mother's Day

The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day to be alive.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers and grandmothers and furbaby mothers.

I haven't blogged in awhile but we have been very busy around the house.

This is what we've been up to.

Craft supplies, dolls and toys threatened to take over my dining room so we had to take drastic measures.

A SHE-SHED~

They moved the shed on to a slab in the backyard.

Then my sweet hubby and son wired, insulated and put sheetrock inside. 

I did the painting, but my hubby really did all the hard work!

I can't begin to tell you how much fun I'm having with this.

When I was little, I wanted to live in a toy store, well I feel like that dream has come true! :-)

It Was A Cold Dark Night......

It's going to be a cold, cold weekend. 

I hope everyone is safe and warm inside for the coming winter storm.

We planned to go to Mardi Gras tomorrow

but I think I'm going to pass.

I believe I'll just stay home and craft tomorrow.

And when I get tired of that,

I'll just curl up with a good book and these sweet babies.

Dino is so silly.

Wilma has her warm sweater on for the night.

She's already sleeping in front of the fire.

It's a beautiful sunny day and perfect for crafting.

Did I show you the little pink church I made for Christmas?

This was a kit from Melissa Francis, but I added the pink glitter and snow. 

If crafting doesn't appeal to you today, how about a walk in the woods?

And tomorrow it really is supposed to rain,

so how about a good book to read?

May I recommend this?

My sister recommended it to me, and I'm glad she did.

Hi blogging friends,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween~

I had fun bringing out old decorations and making some new ones.

You know I love finding dolls.

I found a few on these on a trip to New Orleans yesterday, 

the rest from estate sales.

Shirley Temple was my favorite find this month!

Welcome Fall

Aren't you glad it's getting cooler?

I sure am. It's been way too hot this summer where we live.

I'm seeing pretty colors in the yard, and there's a cool breeze blowing in off the ocean.

We went to the Shrimp Festival and saw the 250 foot long Po-Boy.

Ate some good shrimp too!

I found some fun mail in my mailbox this week.

BamBam turned two years old on September 28.

He had such a good time, he was all for a party!

Dino was like "You're kidding, right?"

Wilma said not to even think about putting that hat on her head...
