Easter with Bluesy Boy
This was our first family excursion out with the new Beagle. He has been an absolute joy to all of us even with his luggage that accompanied him home from the Humane Society. We've got the flees and worms under control and now we begin work on the manners... Like not chasing the cat, nor eating her food, or her poop... Not barking hysterically when on walks and other dogs are within eyesight. Not having to sit and stare inches away from someones face during family movie night... Little things. Nothing major thank goodness. We have named him Blue. Henry is currently learning a very depressing song called "Old Blue" about a boy and his opossum hunting dog that dies and he will see again in heaven someday. So, he wanted to be able to sing "Old Blue, you good dog you." So, Blue it is. But I call him Bluesy Boy. Which I think he likes but does not respond to in the least...

Underwater
Henry and Nelson are now the proud owners of their very own camera to capture, create and do as they may without their mother hovering over them, arms continuously outstretched ready to catch a Nikon slipping through the hands of clumsy little 8-year-old fingers. I usually have to come up with some excuse or a quick response of "maybe later" when they ask to use my camera.
Their grandparents thought it high time they had their own. So, we found the perfect camera for rambunctious wild little boys that aren't always keen on taking caution with electronic breakables...
A non-breakable, underwater, freeze proof (not that it matters where we live), sand proof (totally matters where we live), and shock proof camera. Behold, the Fujifilm Finepix XP50...
Here are a few shots we took of each other at the pool this weekend. It's kind of nice to finally be in some pictures!
