DANCE

Ellie took a dance class over the summer with Gilbert Parks and Rec and couldn't get enough of it.  I will have to say shes quite the spaz and loves looking at her self in all the mirrors, twirling around in her dresses and playing with all her new friends.  Needless to say, she didn't retain that much. It was definitely worth it though!

RODEO

Helping bottle feed two baby calf's at Uncle Jason's house
Ellie thought is was so cool that the baby cows would follow her
I cant tell you how much time was spent with this pony just walking it around the rodeo grounds.  We finally just let her ride it all by herself in the parking lot.  "Snowball" was quite the trooper and El felt so big doing it all on her own.  Ellie is a natural cowgirl!
Ellie did what they call "mutton bustin" in the Rodeo. Its where you hold on to a sheep as tight as you can until you fall off.  And let me tell you, some of those sheep are FAST!  Ellie's was one of those.  This girl was ready though.  She was holding onto that sheep for deer life and was determined to stay on.  Uncle Jason was a little too scared for his precious little niece, so he ended up pulling her off by her pants rather than having her fall off.  She probably could have ridden for longer, but being that it was her first time, it was probably for the better. Thanks Uncle Jason:)
Crew wasn't as excited as his big sis with the whole pony thing.

SWIMSUIT FETISH!

Yes I know, its a little ridiculous that Ellie has a different swimsuit for every day of the week plus some.  What can I say, we pretty much live in our swimsuits all summer long, not to mention I have a little bit of a swimsuit fetish myself. Plus, she just looks so dang cute in them. Ha!

FUN AT THE LAKE

We went to Roosevelt Lake over 4th of July weekend and had quite the time.  Unfortunately our boat decided not to work for us, but we didn't let that ruin our fun.  The kids loved swimming and playing around on the dock (yes, I know that's a little white trash), but surprisingly we were the only ones there, so we didn't care.  The jet ski still worked, so we were able to wake board and tube behind that instead.  Too bad we couldn't get away from the heat, but I guess that's what the waters for:)
