Jilli's Bike!

Here is sweet little Jilli on her Dora bike. She got this bike for being the champion of the toilet vs. Jilli match. She has triumphed and is potty trained! We were so happy to present her with the Dora bike. She loves it and begs to ride it every day! She hates to have her picture taken lately... so I tried to get some good shots but she kept riding away!

She was laughing here.

Here she jumped off the bike and started running away...

Running...

She loves pushing all the buttons... Hola!

Our Friend Lizard

We have a lizard who lives in our courtyard. He is a bit crazy. He is always jumping about when I go in to get the stroller or Jilli's bike. Sometimes he is green and sometimes he is dark brown. He is really hard to catch. Chris tried. Oh well! At least we got these great photos of him!

Cute Photos!

There were lots of great photo opportunities around the park... We captured a few!

Jeremiah really wanted to try this ladder game... you had to make it to the red bar and ring the bell to win the HUGE stuffed animal prize... He didn't quite make it!

Then his dad had to try! Chris almost made it!!

It's Official!

It's official! I am now accepted at the University and I'm going to finish school!!! Yay! It may take me another decade... but I'm gonna do it! Online classes should be fun! I'm again going for my Bachelor's in English. It's what I love. What I live for. (and basically what I'm good at!) I'm still waffling over what classes to start with... if the darn counselor would just email me back... grrrr!!!
Go Me!!

Funny Jilli

Jilli calls every bug either an ant or a spider. Mosquitos are ants. Mosquito bites are ant bites. Beetles are ants. She knows what spiders look like... but everything else - Ant! She came in the other morning yelling to me in the shower that there was a BIG ANT by the front door. Great! I never know what exactly that means... so I got out and hurried to see. It was a medium sized cockroach. (I know, EWWWW!! We do live in the South!) It found the bottom of my flip flop - quickly! Silly Jilli!! It definitly was bigger than an ant!

Red Robin with Friends

We ate at Red Robin on Saturday for an early dinner. We were with friends from our neighborhood.

This is how Jilli poses for pictures now! Stinker!

Monkey Joe's

Saturday, we spent the afternoon at a little place called, Monkey Joe's! Chris had heard their ad on the radio and we looked up the address online. It was in a strip mall and was filled with all sorts of inflatable fun. Jilli was a bit nervous to go in at first, but she warmed up quickly. Jess was a bit disappointed because they wouldn't allow her on several of the stations. I guess she was too tall or too old... whatever. Luckily we had thought to invite our next door neighbors and she liked running around with K. I never saw Jeremiah and his buddy, K. They were having a blast. Jumping on bouncers and trampolines is his most favorite thing to do. He came and found us for a drink but that was about all that stopped his fun. I had hoped that when they said, "INDOOR PLAYGROUND" that it would be like a huge McDonald's playground indoors... but no. It was all inflatable. For the price, $8 per kid, it wasn't worth it. It did give us a fun place to spend a few hours on a hot Saturday afternoon though. Afterwards, we ate at Red Robin...mmmm! Then we went to Kohl's for some shopping. Yay! I love Kohl's! Their clearance racks always hold some treasure for me or the kids. Chris even found some things - reluctantly! He was a bit annoyed with me to have to go "shopping" when he could have been playing the Wii or something! No worries!

In the Zone

I downloaded the photos from Chris' camera and found these gems. I got the biggest kick out of seeing Jillian with her cheeks all squished up. I believe these were from the night we were watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympic games. They were all glued to the TV. It was amazing all the time and efforts the Chinese people put into these Olympic games! We were spellbound at all the daring feats and bright flashes of color... wow! We also had plenty of Chris' yummy popcorn to keep our hands and mouths full. Good times!
