CHRISTMAS!!!

Hello Everyone!
We had a wonderful Christmas in 3 cities in Texas with family. Lily had fun opening her "presees" and Easton slept a lot because the excitement was too much for him to handle! Hope everyone is doing well.

Easton the 16 pounder...

Hola Friends and Family!
Well, the time is rapidly approaching for Easton to turn 3 months old and Lily to become TWO!! Our son is very healthy, weighing in at 16 lbs. He is growing so fast and loves to smile and play with Linkadoos. Lily counted to TEN last night just out of the blue and Kendall and I couldn't believe our ears so we asked her to repeat it several times and she did! Can't believe she is almost 2...but some days I am reminded of that when out in public! Enjoy the pics and our trip to Chuck E Cheese is below!

The fun of Chuck E Cheese was wearing off quickly...
"Mom, can we go home yet?!"

Our Family Trip to Chuck E Cheese!!!

Easton had a great time at CEC..as you can tell!!

Lily wasn't the only one who got tokens!!

This game was too hard for her but she sure gave it her all!!

And the best ride at CEC the pedal helicopter that Daddy had to operate!
Overall it was a great time...4 adults won Lily 4 prizes and had some yummy greasy pepperoni pizza!!! Daddy decided we would be back December 2 for Lily's 2nd Birthday party!

Destination: Nsenga People of Zambia...

As we look back over the past 11 months, we cannot believe that we are now officially missionaries! Kendall and I are so excited about what the Lord is doing in Zambia and we cannot wait to be apart of it! We will be leaving for the field in April. Man we have a LOT to do before then! Crating, passports, visas, and most importantly PRAYER! Thank you to each of you who have prayed us through this process and we covet your prayers on the field as well! Easton is 2 months old!!

Greetings!
Easton is now 2 months old! He weighs in at 14.8 lbs. and is 23 3/4" long! He is so precious and Lily LOVES her little brother! Next week Kendall and I are traveling with Easton to St. Louis for appointment with the IMB. Please remember us in our travels. Also, on a sad note, Gramma (daddy's mama) passed away this Monday, so Easton and I will travel on Friday to see Mama and Daddy in Atlanta for her graveside in South Carolina. It is difficult to blog because I know that she read our blog daily. Thank you all for remembering us in this difficult time.
Much love,
The Helgrenfam

Easton's Dedication

Praise the Lord for blessings such as children! Today we celebrated Easton's life by dedicating him to the Lord. It was a sweet time that we shared with many friends.
