Last Day..........

Today is my last day on LSBS Design Team
Its was a hard decision but i need a bit of me time
Next year i will be doing more hours at work so any time i do have will be purely and selfishly for me to create what i want

I have made some totally awesome friends at LSBS and will miss all the behind the scene stuff but i will be sticking around.............cant get rid of me that fast!!!!!!

Jacobs year 12 Graduation

On Friday it was my son Jacobs last day of school
Where on earth did that time go to?
It doesnt seem that long ago that i walked him through the school gates when he first started school
He has come a long way from being that cute little kid.........he is now an even cuter 16 year old!!!!!
Im very proud of the way Jake has grown into a beautiful young man .........he hasnt caused us any grief and hopefully it stays that way....lol

Friday night was his formal graduation at the Sheratan at Port Douglas it was just lovely to see them all dressed up and so proud that they had reached this milestone in their lives
He has some great friends in his life and Maddison his gorgeous little girlfriend

Jacob started his apprentiship earlier in the year as a chef (wednesdays) and started full time on monday this week
Good luck to my oldest baby im very proud and happy in my heart

World Cardmaking Weekend 16th~19th Oct

Hi girls just letting you know that you need to book this weekend and start getting some cardmaking supplies ready because we will be having a fun filled weekend of challenges and games for you at Little Scrapbookshop

Normally this weekend is held worldwide on the first weekend in October but ours will be held the third weekend in October starting at 6PM Friday night
So start getting organised now, book the babysitter get a good stock of Cadburys and you will be right

Its been another one of those times where there arent enough hours in a day, week, month or maybe year!!!!!

Matt is finally home after 5 weeks work up in the cape and islands
The ILs have been here for 3 weeks now and still have till mid November
Only this week and we have 2 weeks school holidays..........YAY!!!!!!!

At our last Cybercrop at Little scrapbookshop i had to come up with a step x step and i was feeling rather brain dead after coming home from the retreat!

Sonya on of my mates told me about a cute flower pot card she had found on a site so i gave it a go

I truely loved making this....thanx so much Sonya!

Heres what i came up with with some yummy MME bloom and grow papers

My Retreat Class

A couple of weeks ago i headed down to Sydney for the Little Scrapbookshop Retreat
We always have a totally awesome time and i have to say this years was definetly the best one yet
So nice to catch up with awesome mates and meet new people
Our table totally rocked .....we had so much fun and lots of laughs
This year i was asked to teach one of the classes which went really well and i was so proud of all the girls that had a go and came up with some very beautiful creations

We got to use a bit of a mixture of Basic Grey Junebug and Lemonade and also some transparencies
And of course it wouldnt be me if we didnt have lots of fancy cutting somewhere on the card!

Time flys!!!!!!

Its june already...can you believe it?
It been crazy the last few months

Had a really lovely time with Lisa when she came up to Cairns.......nice girlie shopping day and we also had a pedicure which was fabulous!

Spent 2 days at a retreat and got to spend some really lovely time with Margie too
she is a gem that girl

Had some great chats with Carol and her lovely friend Kristen

My next little trip is in july up to the tablelands for a couple of days with Mel and the girl
It was sopposed to be a retreat but some girls couldnt make it so now a few of us are getting together for a bit of fun and scrap for a few days at Mels place
Cant wait!

Have been very busy with cards lately will share soon

The weather has cooled down a lot up here
we are getting perfect weather here at the moment.....beautiful sunny days.......bit chilly morning and night
