Lovely Lights

I thought it would be fun to post some lights that are a bit unusual or used in an unusual way or spot.

These pendants are neat for a hallway. Usually you don't even notice lighting in a hallway, but these are such a neat way to do lighting. Takes an ordinary hall to extraordinary. 

These copper pendants are SO amazing!! 

Aren't these little hanging lights so pretty? Love it.

Fun light for a kids' room.

I love these pendants hanging close to the ceiling. Such a fun look!

These aren't really unusual, but I just LOVE this spot and hope to have a spot like this somewhere in a future house! So cozy.

I think this one is one of my favorites! Isn't it just AWESOME?!

These lights above the counter tops are so neat! I think they look so great in this fabulous kitchen!!!

Bathing Beauty

Picture Window

With this warm weather we have been having here in the midwest, I have had my windows open for three days in a row and no heater, and even our fan running last night. I LOVE warm weather! 

So, I was inspired to do a post on pretty windows. 

I LOVE this one...and the chairs in front of it! And the other side of the window too. 

These are technically doors, but there are windows in the doors, so I posted them. I love the window panes above the doors...so pretty. 

Doesn't this look like a spot you would spend all your summer days...and spring, and fall, and maybe winter if I had a little heater!! LOVE!

I am in love with the window across the balcony! Isn't it so so pretty?! 

Every time I went up the stairs, I would think how I was so glad I spent the extra money to put in that window. It is so warm and inviting. 

These windows remind me of Parent Trap...when they are at camp. What a fun office space. 

I have had this picture for a while and every time I look at it, I just LOVE it. I love the window, the cloth panels hanging on the walls, the floor, the chairs...all of it. So pretty. 

I love awnings when they are done right. Don't these add so much charm to this already beautiful house?

Another window/door. I always picture doors like this all over my dream house...should probably price them before I dream too much. I guess that's the difference between a dream and reality.

Spring is Springing

I love how we've had a mild winter and now Spring is actually almost here!!! I love it when we 'spring forward' in the Spring time for our clocks...even though we lose an hour, we gain an hour of day in the evenings...which I LOVE!

Birthday Wish

Well, it's been about 6 months since I posted last, but I thought I would post real quick and say that I am still here.

I decided for a back to blogging post, I would post some ideas of fun Birthday ideas. March is always a birthday month in our family. My sister, cousin and myself all share March Birthdays and my brother in law has a March Birthday too...though some of these ideas would not be as enjoyable to him.

A new do.

Road trip.

Yummy cake.
