Birthday Boy!

I CANNOT believe my baby is one.  I know everyone always says that, but seriously where did the time go?  This little boy has been a huge light and blessing in our home this past year... he has been the BEST baby since day one.  He loves to snuggle and give those big slobbery open mouth kisses.  So yummy!  He is a busy busy boy--loves the stairs of course and thinks he is old enough to wrestle with Jake and Cole.  Everyone in our household thinks he walks on water... how can you not?  Just look at this sweet boy!!!

day number four

OF KINDERGARTEN!  It has been heavenly at our house the last two days as Jakers was able to go to school.  We have not had any temper tantrums (which was definitely starting to get out of control)  and no evil Anakin Skywalker face which was starting to make a daily appearance.  (see picture below)

Those three hours of pure quiet solitude in my house, I feel are going to be shortlived. Jake decided to jump off the top bunkbed this evening onto a bean bag. Not the smartest idea he has ever had. Apparently he has done something to his foot and has already been down twice because his foot hurts and he is having bad dreams about some guy that is screaming at him and truly cannot walk on that darn foot. So much for school. We are off to the doctor tomorrow morning if he is not feeling better. And with our luck, who knows what has happened to it.

(We go from evil Anakin to good Anakin in a matter of seconds. There is never a dull moment with him around!)

Laker game

Notice that I said LAKERS and not Jazz.  Christmas was a wonderful event for Jeff this year.  Santa was very good to him and gave him the best gift he ever could have, considering the Lakers have been Jeff's favorite basketball team since he was five years old, when his dad brought him home a Magic Johnson jersey.  Lakers tickets on the first row.  Needless to say, he was in heaven.  Jake went with him and I think the two of them had the time of their lives...

Matilda Jane Trunk Show!!!

clinic

Yeah! I FINALLY figured out how to make images bigger. Took long enough! Tuesday Jakers had clinic. It went as well as we expected... he loves to go up there now, especially when he can eat and no back pokes are involved. His counts are still very low. ANC is 100, so we are still stuck at home indefinitely. But all things considered he is doing great! You would never know that there was ever anything wrong to look at him now. It is so great to see him actually be a kid! We were on steroids this week which is always a treat and are just now starting to feel the effects of the the 'roid rage. I don't think the yelling stopped for three minutes this morning. It will last about another day and then we will be back to normal! My favorite drug. haha. We love this kiddo and are so amazed at how far he has come these last few months. We found some home videos that I will try and put up from when he was so sick. I don't think we realized how sick he actually was until you compare now and then. It only makes us realize how truly blessed we are.

Brotherly Love

Love my boys.  A small photoshoot we did the other day.  I think they are starting to get used to having me take their pictures all the time.  I love how they turned out-- totally shows both of their personalities.  Too bad Crewsers was sleeping!!
