I think this little police car is all they will need in this small town.

Saint George, Utah
This is where the owner of the RV park lives. It is quite a house and just up the hill from where we stayed. Here is the road into the park looking down on the town. We did not get any pictures of our cute little neices that live here. I am going to have to take some of my own pictures and not leave it up to Alan. We went to Michael's baseball game which he won.
We had a gorgeous view of palms and red rock but it was a little bit of a tight fit. Alan did great as he always does and parked it like a champ.
I think we were the biggest trailer in the park. We didn't get pictures of Cedar City probably because it snowed and somebody was really bummed out. We are home now and getting ready for our Caribbean Cruise. Hope to have some pictures for you of that. Adios for now.

Midland, Texas
This was the home of George H W & Barbara Bush in Midland, TX. The kitchen is cute and brought back lots of memories from the 50's. They tried to recreate it from pictures that they had of the house.
Barbara Bush was very happy with these curtains as they were very close to what she had made back in the 50's. You can see into the sun porch.

Tucson, Arizona
This is downtown Tucson.
This cathedral was beautiful!

Here is closer view. We had lunch at a cute place, Mi Nidito (My little nest). It was really good food! The mailman told us a president had eaten there. Not the current president, so Alan said, "You mean W"? He said yes, so we went. Alan was horrified to discover it was Clinton and not Busch. It was funny, but good.

Slab City
Slab City is just up the road from Salvation Mtn. It was originally built by the Army to use as a base but was never used. It is now inhabited by
trailers and motorhomes from Thunderdome I believe.
Here is another Mad Max vehicle at Slab City. We did see a license plate from Sheridan, WY. I think it was good for me to see this....I am much more thankful for what I have.

Yuma, AZ Where the sun spends the winter!
Here is Alan bringing 6 heads of free iceberg lettuce home. We shared with our new Canadian friends, Barry & Ken. It was so good in the salad we had.
These fields are beautiful. We watched them harvest fennel and lettuce. They gave us some fresh cauliflower, too. We saw all kinds of spinach, celery, and red & green leaf lettuce. It is like a huge garden. The cauliflower was delicious raw & cooked with cheese sauce.
