ahhh. tired out. went for umpiring at kallang. so stress i tell u. the sun was so hot ad the players had freakin' bad attitude problems. * its sooo fun man* and there we were the pathetic 6 people umpiring under the cool cool sun for 8 games straight with only a 5 min break between game 4 and 5. it was really "relaxing" and i wud like to take this oppourunity to "thank " all those who had not been present. haha. but seriously. it was very hot. and me bring mean and everything just had to complain. about the aircon-less bus and the hot weather and the lousy-sucky-socialworkers-most-hated girls there. some were nice but some were like the one described above. ^-^ not. sometimes an irresistable urge came over me to slap their faces. weird huh. the eight games were agonizing/ exhausting/ torture/ miserable/ crappy. i will never ever go for another CIP volunteer help out umpiring ever again. never. unless forced lah. den we went happily on our way home in the nice lovely many seat mrt. den we saw two women quarreling. and like they even noe each other LOR. they were quarrelling over a seat. and it just had to happen in our compartment. i must sat its rather lucky. yeah right. stupid lor. den quarrel and quarre until everyone all sian. *burboo.* den me and cheryl went j8. supposingly to eat and buy her ear sticks. we ate but we din get the ear sticks cos she dunwanna. i wanna admit i am very smart today for forgetting to bring my ez-link card.

Taiwanese girlband S.H.E handshake session became a hugging session, but 5000 fans, boys and girls got different "rights". Because this hugging was only restricted to female fans, male fans were not allowed to hug them, and could only shake hands or give hi-5s as opposed to hugs.S.H.E last night was at Ngee Ann City to hold their first-ever handshake session in Singapore. It attracted 5000 fans and made the passageway of TSC resemble a minor traffic jam. The trio were there punctually at 7pm and launched into one of their rock song "Superstar" to warm up the atmosphere and it did made the fans scream in unison to the beat. Following which, they sang 2 of their new album songs, "Hou Niao" and another fast tempo song "Tong Kuai"It was indeed "Tong Kuai" for the fans, because the highly anticpated handshake session started at 7.30pm. Initially S.H.E was in a seating position to shake hands, after 20 mins, they got really pumped up and started standing behind the table to handshake. Not long though, they felt the table was preventing them from having a closer rapport with their fans, they just stepped out of that "barrier" and brought the distance almost face-to-face.Up till around 8 plus, some of the fans could not hold back their emotions and boldly asked if they could hug them? S.H.E generously said oki and hugged the girl after the special request. Other fans saw this and excitedly started to shake hands and hug them at the same time. Some male fans also started to get excited but they seem to forget that 男女“授受不亲”, and wanted a hug too. Selina who was at the frontline of this, nearly got hugged by a male fan, luckily he was held back by security. but the male fan understand the meaning, and did not protest and just shook their hands and give hi-5 as well to signal his contentment.The demographic of S.H.E fans in singapore seems to be growing, even caucasians also bought their kids along. If you also thought that S.H.E only attracts Chinese teens, you are wrong. They do also attract Malay and Indian fans, even Caucasians as well/Last night, there was an heartwarming moment. A young Caucasian couple, bought along their 2 year old kid to que up in the crowd. This is because the couple was S.H.E fans, and wanted to shake hands with them as well and a hug. S.H.E upon seeing their fans seem to be from all races, were delighted to see this. S.H.E also teased the 2 year old kid on stage, and would probably have secretly bought the kid home if they could.S.H.E truly symbolise that music and love knows no boundaries, languages or different races.
