Pa-Rum-Pum-Pum-Pum

This year flew by...and this blog has nothing to show for it. So one of my New Years resolutions will be to maintain this blog better. So to start off that new goal here is my yearly Christmas post. Check out this cute little drummer boy!

The Nativity tradition continues....this years theme was Sesame Street.

Cole also received a basketball hoop and his very own chair. Fun times were had by all.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

I have always loved the holidays but I just have to say that Cole made this holiday season even more amazing. He really enjoyed opening presents (more specifically he enjoyed the paper and bows), he is teething so everything he opened went into his mouth. Here are a couple of photos showing that...

As is our tradition, a little something special found it's way into my mom's nativity. She found it a lot faster this year because she was explaining the nativity to Cole...look who she found

I love how he is looking adoringly at baby Jesus.

Happy New Year everyone!

Baby, Baby

Introducing the newest member of our family, Cole. He arrived four weeks ago and since that time we have had fun times learning how to do this parenting thing. All I can say is if having a kid this cute to write about doesn't get me to blog more I don"t know what will.

Babymoon 2009

So as the previous post explained Mark and I went to Galena, IL for a few days over my spring break. It was a lot of fun, they have great shops and restaurants. So if you are looking for a place to go on a long weekend, where you can get plenty of rest and relaxation I recommend it. Here are a couple of photos.
The first is of downtown Galena where all the fun shops are.

This one is a photo of the two of us in front of the Stillman Inn, where we stayed. As you can tell the architecture in Galena is amazing to look at.

It has been far too long

Well it has been far too long since I last blogged...but i need to continue on with my tradition of posting my annual Christmas Nativity Photo. As always it took my mom over 24 hours to even notice that her Nativity had been tampered with.

This years selection is dedicated to Bridget who I know will appreciate the choice of the scary pilgrims..

And they called it Puppy Love

This week Mark and I welcomed the newest member of our family. Meet Sookie! She is a 3 month old Sheltie who is quirky and fun just like her Gilmore Girl Namesake. The first couple of days she was pretty shy and nervous but she is now adjusting really well and Mark and I are so excited to finally have a dog of our own. Look how cute she is!
