Sorry, just a boring journal entry today. I just have to document how
blessed I feel lately. I've got some friends that are going through
rough times, and I have to say that in my 29 years on this earth, I haven't
really had too many rough times. Knock on wood, right. Honestly, I've
had three very healthy pregnancies, one not so bad miscarriage, and
ended up with 3 amazingly healthy and vibrant kiddos. I love them so
much and learn so much from them every day. They teach me that I have
just enough patience in me to count to ten instead of throwing things
or yelling. They teach me to be strong when I want to give up. They
teach me hope and faith that even though the world is falling apart all
around us, there is always a way to feel the spirit in our home and
know that we will be o.k. They teach me to trust in my Heavenly Father
that he sent me this beautiful family because of some miraculous
reason. They teach me that laughter can silence any bad or sad mood, no
matter how big or small. They teach me love; not just any kind of love.
They teach me the kind of love that brings tears to my eyes when I sit
and look at their sweet profiles as they watch a movie, or watch them
play so peacefully together on the floor. I love these children more
then words can express, and I am so thankful that I have been blessed
to be their mother. I know that I have a lot to learn, but I am truly
blessed to be taught by them; to be taught everything that I lack. I
also have to give a loving shout out to my wonderful husband, who
stands right by me in this parenting thing. He is such a great role
model to our kids and teaches them so much. He sacrifices so much time
and effort to go to school everyday, not only to just graduate and get
that degree, but he puts in his all with every patient he works on,
every project he tackles, and all of his hard work just brings us more
blessings. He is also an amazing husband to me. I knew when I first saw
him 16 years ago that there was something oh so special about that kid.
He is extremely obedient, hard working, service oriented, full of life
and adventure, intelligent, and I must addsmokin hot! I couldn't ask for more in an eternal companion and most, if not all days I don't feel adequate
to stand at his side. So there you have it, sorry if you are expecting
something more... that's it just me expressing my happiness and love
for the most amazing people in my life.

Monkeys and Rubberbands
We had a blast the other day at Monkey Bizness with some friends. All the kids loved braving the gigantic slide. Hannah Haymore's face was the best on the slide; half excitement and the other half horror. Us adults even had a great time. For my Birthday I got to go to lunch with some friends from the ward earlier in the week, then Trevor and I had a nice diner at Red Lobster and then went to a tavern type place and watched Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband. My actual birthDAY consisted of.... pretty much the regular stuff... except a few phone calls and emails to wish me happy birthday. Trevor brought me home dinner then we did the present thing for FHE and that was followed by a visit from Jen and Ben. They brought cake and we had fun eating junk food and chilling the rest of the night. Thanks Jen, it was yummy! You'll have to look at the slide show for the monkey bizness pictures. There were too many!

Our weekend
What a great weekend! I just have to say that I LOVED conference! I especially loved President Monson's
talk about living life right now and not putting it off until tomorrow.
It would be really easy for me to put off a lot of things until
tomorrow (aka we have an income), but thankfully I have an AMAZING
husband who sees life differently then I do sometimes. He is always up
for an adventure and fun no matter how poor we are or what stage of
life we are in. I love him so much and I am so thankful for everything
about him (yes everything babe, even the things that make ME stronger
and better in some way :). So Trevor is an expert Craigslister. He recent deal was a really good one! He found an awesome Burley
bike trailer that was pretty much brand new and dirt cheap! We were so
excited about it that we took it out on Saturday in between conferences
and rode around Cherry Creek. We stopped by the lake to have a picnic
lunch and then made it home for the last half of the afternoon session (ooops).
It was a beautiful day and I hope that it is these little, but often,
outdoor adventures that will give my kids the memories to make them
great. That is mostly what I remember from my childhood; all the fun
adventures we would go on. Thanks mom and dad! I love you!!

Showers, preschool and fevers....
So I put together my first baby shower for my very pregnant friend Jen
(3 babies coming soon) on Saturday and afterwards attended the Women's
Conference. Pres.Uchtdorf's talk really meant a lot to me because of
all the projects I had just spent so much time (and some $) on. It made
me feel good and that I wasn't just wasting my time. I thought
everything turned out great and accomplishments like that make it worth
while. Well, you can see from the pictures my fruit and dip creation,
Trevor was even impressed and said it looked really cool; the BABY
letters that I had a blast making, and they were super cheap, and
finally the baby diaper thing. I got the idea off this diaper cake
website and made my own adjustments. Thanks Jen for letting me throw
you a shower, it was pretty fun! On to other things...Natali had her
first day of preschool and is finally showing some interest in her
letters and numbers. We've been practicing and she gets so excited
(mostly from me jumping up and down) when she remembers the right
letters. I am so proud of her and am enjoying all the alone time we get
this year. Trey, on the other hand, got the cocksackie (sp ?) virus that
Nat had a couple of weeks ago. He had a fever for 5 days straight, but
seems to be over it now. It is nice to have our sweet little boy back.
Hopefully life will slow down for me now, but who knows.....
