The Goods
I struggle. Weeds are my nemesis. Plants are my friends. I love green...in the right places. My gravel driveway is NOT one of them and the bad greens are taking over! I broke down & 'round-upped' it once, got it under control and lovely, but I just don't want to keep inhaling that stuff as I do the deed. So I did what any sane person would do. I googled it. The answer? Vinegar. Why am I surprised, the answer is always vinegar. Or baking soda. Or those two together (volcano anybody?). HERE is my new plan. I'll let you [my dear blog] know who wins. I kind of like that I have a conversation on the web with me, myself and my personified blog. I can say whatever I want and I never offend.
Also, THIS is my new curious favorite (for now) for info on cleaners. Except that after reading it, sometimes I feel like it's better to be dirty. But mostly I just go hug my vinegar and baking soda. Why aren't they ever on any list?

No, stinkin' Way!
As if corn isn't bad enough on the guts of cows & such, now they're adding candy?! And let's not forget to mention that it's the 'reject' candy that "isn't fit for store shelves." 100% beef? Riiighht, see it HERE

Regular red meat consumption: a No, no
If you've watched "Food Inc, Food Matters & Forks Over Knives" or read the China Study by Campbell, etc. this is not new news (& I definitely recommend all of them). But it's always cool to read more info & see the stats yourself. Check it out...an 'up to 28 year study' from Harvard found HERE.

THIS is just lovely...food frauds...just more evidence as to why we should be buying local or at trusted organic stores/sources.
