Happy Birthday Rachel!!!!
Happy Birthday Rachel!! Thank you for being such a great sister...It's weird without you here now but I know that it's important for you guys to be in Chicago right now. Paisley and I love skyping with you throughout the week, it's fun and of course you can always help me keep a better eye on her when she's crawling around eating carpet lol I miss you so much! You have a set a great example for me, especially through your kindness and love that you show to others, and I am grateful for that. I love you and hope that Trent gets a position close to us :) Well, enjoy your Red Robin tonight!!! love you!
California State Fair
We went to the State Fair last night with some of my family. It was hot at first but the weather was actually nice after the sun went down a bit. The kids loved the animals and my mom loved the people in the buildings who try to sell you stuff (notice the nana shirt below) lol. Anyway, Chris was working on our backyard and my dad wasn't feeling well so they couldn't come with us :( but we still had fun!

sleeping bums and pigtails
Today is Paisley's first time wearing two ponytails in her hair and I think it's adorable! I have like a million pictures because I was trying to get her to smile. It didn't work very well but they're still cute. She is crawling and pulling herself up to a stand like a pro so as you can imagine she's all over the place!! I have to watch her like a hawk! lol oh and she still puts everything in her mouth. We had an incident about a week ago...she choked on a piece of carpet...it was scary but luckily she threw it up! Anyway, she had yogurt for the first time yesterday and so far so good. She liked it. I can't think of anything else new so I guess I'll just post the pictures now....

ok, this is funny to me...her teeth came in in a really weird order..even the Doctor said she'd never seen this before. She got her side teeth in before her front teeth (well tooth, she only has one so far) and this is the only picture I could get where you can actually see it (before her front tooth started to show)

9 months old
Paisley was 9 months old on Wednesday. We had her 9 month appt. on Thursday. She now weighs 22 lbs. 8 oz. (95th %) and is 28 3/4 inches long (90th %) and her head is 17 1/2 inches around (75th %). She's chunky but at least she's proportioned lol She now has 4 teeth...her two bottoms ones, which are in all the way, her top right side tooth which is in about 1/4 of the way and her left side tooth which just broke the skin on her 9 months old birthday...she has no front teeth on the top coming in yet so she might look kinda funky for a while lol She started full on crawling with her stomach actually off of the floor a week ago so I'm finding I have to watch her more closely than before..I've had to pull a few things out of her mouth already that she picked up off of the floor...great baby watching skills, I know! She's getting into everything! Anyway, She pulls herself to a stand all the time now and a few times has stood for a brief couple of seconds...not very long though lol She is "talking" all the time and is loud! lol I can't believe she'll be one in 3 months!! (I've already started planning the party, with the help of a few friends lol) She's getting so big, it's weird! She definitely has her own spunky personality and everyone thinks she is going to be bossy, so apparently Chris and I are in for a real treat lol
