Paisley Pics

So, it's been a while since my last post so I figured I'd just post a couple new pictures of Paisley from the night of her aunt Pam's 17th birthday party. She's wearing a cute Guess outfit that one of my best friends, Chelsea, bought her..it's adorable!!

This picture was taken in Tahoe. Chris and his dad got a hug water job in Tahoe, so Susan and I went up with them and we all stayed in our friend's cabin up there for a night..but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of all of us together so there's only one of Paisley lol

2 month check up

Paisley was 2 months last Monday but her 2 month check up was yesterday. She is growing so fast. She went from 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 19 1/2 inches (19th percentile for both) at 2 weeks to 12 lbs. 4 oz. and 23 inches (80th percentile for weight and 75th for height) at 2 months (and 1 week) old!! After a lot of debate she got her shots. We were kinda if-y about getting them because of all of the hype about autism but we kinda decided that we would rather have an autistic child than a dead child (from catching one of the diseases), and if that was one of the trials that Heavenly Father meant for us to have, then it would happen anyway. It was so hard to watch her get them (I actually cried a little bit, my poor baby!) but she did pretty well actually. She of course screamed when she got them and for about a minute after but I just rocked her and she settled down. I gave her some tylenol and put her in her carseat and she was out! She was pretty tired all day yesterday. We went to John's incredible pizza co in Roseville with the Camblins last night and we put her in her carseat before we left which was about 9 o clock and she slept from then until 6:30am! Chris got lucky, it was his night lol here are some new pictures of my big girl!!

9 to 6:40 :)

Just had to share that Paisley went from 9 pm to 6:40 am last night!! Of course we didn't go to bed as early as her because we thought she would wake up to be fed one more time at 11 but she didn't lol it was my night last night so I got lucky :) Tonight I tried a new routine...feed at 8, give her a bath, rock her to sleep, and then put her in her bassinet...she's still sleeping and it's 10:30...we'll see if it works, otherwise she'll wake up in about halk an hour to be fed and then sleep until about 5 or so, which won't be so bad, just disappointing that my great idea to help her sleep through the whole night didn't work lol ...wish us luck!! actually, wish Chris good luck, it's his night :) (sorry no pictures, so boring!!)

8 weeks

Paisley was 8 weeks old yesterday on New Year's Eve. I can't believe how old she is already...she has her 2 month check up on January 12th, even though she's 2 months on Monday the 5th lol. She's smiling more now and is definitel longer and heavier. (the jeans she's wearing in these pictures were way to big and long on her on Thanksgiving and today they fit her perfectly!)She is barely fitting into newborn clothes moreso because of length but the weight is pushing it too lol I think I'm just going to put them away so we can start getting use out of her bigger clothes. She can now wear 3 month and 0-3 month clothing...3-6 months is still too big, but probably within the next month or two she'll be able to fit into them. She's growing so fast. She also has started to "coo" a bit and that is too cute! She is still a really good baby. She only cries when she's hungry, tired, or has gas/is trying to poop lol. She usually sleeps from 10 or 11 until 4, 5, or 6 o clock. I know, we're pretty lucky compared to a lot of other people :) She doesn't really like her baths too much yet but I'm sure when she's her cousin ryah's age (18 months) she'll love them because she can play with her toys in there. New Year's Eve

For New Year's Eve we went to the Taylor's party which is always a lot of fun. We ate dinner and dessert, listened to musical performances (which were really good), played their gameshow, and rang in the new year with hats, poppers, and sparkling champagne :) Chris' dad and my dad were both very good at the gameshow...the theme was American history...they each won two $25 gift cards...but I think my mom was happier about my dad's win than Susan was about Kent's because one of my dad's was a Nordstrom one and Kent got two Home Depot gift cards LoL Here are some pics from the night...oh and Rachel and Trent left before I busted out the camera so I don't have a picture of them :(
