Paisley's First Christmas

Christmas Eve is Chris' birthday...it was his "golden birthday" because he turned 24 on the 24th! :) We started off the day by going to breakfast with Chris' family (a tradition of theirs) and then we headed to target to get a humidifier and saline drops for Paisley because she had a cold :( (...not fun to see your 7 week old baby all stuffed up and coughing, and have runny eyes(she also had a bacterial eye infection)..and the worst part is knowing that it's my fault because I take her out in this winter weather...bad mom, but what can i say, it gets boring just sitting at home alone all day, everyday! ) anyway then we went home and gave Paisley a bath and dressed her before we headed out to bowl with both of our families...a new tradition we started this year to celebrate Chris' birthday...it was so fun too!! after that we went to my parent's to have our Christmas Eve program and then celebrate Sarah's birthday. then we headed home for the night. I'll have to get some pictures from my mom's camera because I didn't take any LoL

Christmas Day we woke up and got ready then we went into Chris' parent's house to talk to Chris' brother, Jonny, who is on his mission in Stockton, Missouri right now. Then we opened presents with his family and then went over to his grandparent's house for breakfast and presents. After that we went to my parent's house for dinner and to hang out for a bit. Then we went to his other grandparent's house for dessert and presents. It was a long and busy day....next year I think we're going to make it easier on us and do less traveling between families somehow...we'll see what we figure out. Of course we missed Jenn, Ray, and their family :( Maybe next year or the year after we can all be together for Christmas!!

Paisley's first Christmas Sunday

The Christmas program in Sacrament meeting was so good today. I loved all of the singing...I LOVE Christmas songs so it was so nice to have a full hour of them :) Paisley had a cute little Christmas dress that our friends, the Moore's, gave to us because their little girl was born about 3 months early so obviously it wouldn't fit her now...we were grateful for this because that meant we didn't have to spend money on an outfit (Chris was especially happy LoL) Well, here are some pictures from the day....

Paisley

Black and White

Blessing Day

Yesterday was Paisley's blessing. She did so well, she didn't cry at all up there and she was just wide awake with her big blue eyes looking out at everything. We had both of our families there (except Jenn and Ray and the kids :( ...it was a beautiful blessing. In the afternoon we had our families over for a dinner and that was fun. It was a special day for Paisley (even though she won't remember it LoL) and Chris and me...our first child's blessing day! Here are some pictures...
Our family picture from the day (ugly background though) oh and notice Chris' Paisley print tie...my dad wore one too...so cute I think! LoL

Me and my mom with paisley...we skipped Sunday school to take pictures of Paisley LoL

I love her chubby cheeks!

This is my favorite I think..

Ward Christmas Party

Last night we had our Ward Christmas party and Paisley had her first picture with Santa taken :) She looks so cute!!! (she's making a peace sign if you look closely LoL)

This is just us at my parent's house after our ward party

Rachel and me with Paisley at my parent's after the party also...

There are afew more pictures but they're on my mom's camera so I'll have to upload them to my computer tomorrow when she comes over...so, there's more to come LoL

Paisley update

I am so happy because Paisley finally smiled in response to me smiling and talking to her like a dork LoL She is 5 weeks and 2 days old now. I was just telling Chris and his mom this week that I didn't feel like Paisley liked me because she wasn't really smiling, even though I knew that was normal. Today I was just holding her and was going to get on the computer but decided to try and talk to her and smile for a little bit (I read that if you do that they may smile sooner), and sure enough this time it worked! She smiled back at me like 3 times and then I had to get my camera and she only smiled once more after that so this is the only picture I got of her smiling at me...she looks kinda funny LoL Hopefully she will start smiling more now :)
(she kinda looks like sarah here)

I thought this picture was adorable because she had her hands together :)

Tummy time

Last night my mom and I went to dinner with one of my best friends, Chelsea, and her mom. They weren't able to make it to my baby shower and we were supposed to go to dinner and have our own little "shower" there so they could me their gifts for Paisley in the beginning of November but I guess Paisley decided that she wanted to come to her own little shower because I had her November 5th!! LoL Chelsea and her mom, Gail, gave us so many gifts...it was so nice and we had fun talking. Here's Chelsea and me with Paisley at Outback...

4 weeks old

Paisley is 4 weeks old today...and a month old on Friday...I can't believe it's already been a month almost...crazy! We took her to church for the first time on Sunday, but only for Sacrament meeting. She is getting bigger by the day, as you can see in her cheeks and double chin LoL :) ...so cute! well, here are some pictures from her 4 week old birthday...
she looks a little cross-eyed (with only one eye though) here LoL

look at those cheeks and chins...i love them :)
