Work Hard and Play Harder

So Josh and I are super excited about a few recent purchases... we got grrrrreat deals on a Gearbox Toy Hauler, a black sand car, and Josh sold his truck and bought a new one capable of towing our new toys.
We pretty much feel like kids at Christmas time! We have never had such nice toys before and we can't wait to start camping season.

The camping season kick-off will be a celebration of a BIG 3-0 birthday for Mr. Joshua!!! He is not too excited about this new number for his age, but I believe that it is the beginning of a new season in our lives. We are married and settled, homeowners, proud to have stable careers, 2 dog owners.....  all in all productive members of society! hee hee It will be interesting to see what new adventures our life has in store for us.

We have already started making memories in our Toy Hauler. Josh came home from work one night (it's always nice to have him home in the evening!!) and I made us a Baja Chicken Pizza and we enjoyed it in the trailer with our dogs Sadie and Rockstar of course. I showed off all my hard work from the previous weekend (I spent almost the entire weekend cleaning and shopping for the trailer) and my purchases that made our new trailer OURS. Josh oohhed and awed and made me feel like a Super Wife - which is always great! We enjoyed our pizza dinner and planned future camping trips and giggled with excitement about all the cool gadgets that our trailer has.

I am currently planning the mouthwatering camping menu for our first camping trip to the dunes.... I can't wait! What an awesome way to begin the muriad of memories in our new trailer and camping as a family.

Hi everyone! Well I am attempting to try this "blogging thing" lol. I think it will be a great way for friends and family to see what is going on in the Haver house and keep in touch. I hope to get good at it before we start our family so that I can add baby updates. :)
