Christmas

We had a really good christmas. We didn't get to go see our family this year again, but it was our best one yet by ourselves. Hailey is understanding christmas better and she loved it. Christmas is so much more enjoyable when you have kids to share it with!We actually had some presents this year!

Adelle was so interested in these lizards she got in her stocking she didn't even care about the other presents. Natalie is watching Heather's lizard while she's gone and they love holding it, so these toys were perfect.

My Dad got the girls these books with cling stickers. This is hailey's favorite present.

This girl loves her barbies!

The kitchen i got for 3 bucks and fixed up for 2 more.

Hailey played for 3 hours straight with her new tinkerbell paper doll kit. She still has been playing with it all the time.

Sledding

We went sledding on Christmas eve. The girls loved it! There was only a tiny spot on the hill that still had enough snow, but it was so much fun.
Hailey went down all by herself. I couldn't believe it! She was going so fast.

Snow and a Tree

This year we got a larger tree cause we have a bigger place and natalie is staying here with us for christmas, so she helped pitch in.But the tree was a little too big and this is what it did to our ceiling. Don't you just love sparkly popcorn ceilings?
After we trimmed the tree a bit, the girls decorated the tree. Most of the ornaments ended up on the bottom, but pretty much as soon as they were done, they started taking them off. Now there are no ornaments on the bottom of the tree, just on the floor.
Stephen likes to look at the lights from the bottom of the tree.
Aren't they so adorable?

This is my cousin Kara. She brought presents over from her mom, these cute dresses and boots. Thanks Aunt Susan!
The first snow! Hailey was waiting so long to make a snow angel. We've gone out pretty much every day to play, and hailey goes out a couple times. There's a lot more snow now, this was just the first day.

Adelle's signature smile!

November

November went by so quickly. Stephen and i had our 5 year anniversary. We went out to dinner and a movie. We had thanksgiving dinner over at Stephen's Aunt and Uncle's house, Marshall and Lorie Finch. She makes the best food. Stephen's grandparents were there too along with other family.

These are the horses that live behind our house. We had the girls feed them some carrots. They loved it!

We just like being silly sometimes.

The girls were helping me to crush graham crackers for the Nanaimo bars i made for thanksgiving. Hailey was really good at it.

Adelle did a nose dive off of my bed. I'm still not sure she didn't break her nose. It still hurts her if she gets hit there.

They love to lick the frosting out of oreo cookies and then leave the cookie parts laying around the house.

Fall and Halloween

We're loving fall, except how freezing it is already.
We had the biggest pile of leaves in our front yard. This is the first time they played in them.
I curled hailey's hair for the first time and i just love this picture.
Hailey's Beauty and the beast dress i made for her for halloween
Adelle wore the outfit i wore when i was her age. We call her an '80's aerobics instructor.
Adelle's famous smile!
We carved pumpkins on halloween day, and hailey did really good cleaning hers out, but after about 1 minute of this adelle looked at her hands and said "ewe, ewe, ewe!" Then went and washed her hands. She was done after that.

Hailey's Birthday

Hailey wanted a barbie cake for her birthday. She loved it. She's already telling me she wants a barbie cake for her next birthday.
Steve and I got her a Diego Rescue game for the Wii
Nana gave her the gift she REALLY wanted. A Barbie Repunzel doll. I love the look on her face as she is opening it up!

Adelle's Birthday

This is Adelle's favorite puppy that she can't live without so that's what i made her cake. She loved it.

Decorating their own mini cakes

We got her a tea set for her birthday. It's so cute to watch her a hailey play with it.
