Gingerbread houses

Stephen's sister Heather and i made our own gingerbread and cut it into pieces to build houses. She came over with some of her friends and we decorated together. The girls and i made our own.

Hailey put most of the candies on herself. I just put the icing down for her.

Adelle hung out under the table a lot of the time. She kept sneaking candy and had a pretty good sugar high

Then, when we where trying to clean up, she dumped her cup of milk all over her and thought it was pretty funny. This is the new face she makes all the time. When she is just happy, or knows she is being mischievous.

Hailey took the rope licorous and held it up to her ears and said it was a beard! So heather's friend helped her to put them on better.

They're so old!

Can you believe how old my girls are looking! They are so adorable i just can't handle it sometimes!

First Snow

We got our first snow of the year a couple weeks ago, and the girls were so excited! Too bad it melted by the afternoon. I'm sure we'll have plenty soon enough. I, personally, am really glad it hasn't come yet. Winters are too long here.

Hailey just loves to eat the snow. She'll take it from anywhere. This handful was half leaves, half snow. She will also take it off of cars in a parking lot!

Adelle

I can't believe how big adelle is getting! When ever i ask hailey if she wants to do something, adelle always sticks her head in front of my face to ask if she can do it too, with a cute little noise she makes. If i ask her a question, she kind of makes a question type noise until i ask what she wants and then she gets super excited. That's what's on this video. i also wanted to show you that she knows how to sign thank you. She's so cute!

All tied up

So we thought it would be fun to tie hailey's legs together. She thought it was fun too!

Funny things Hailey says

Yesterday, Hailey was outside playing with her friend and said, "Come on Abby, let's go to the temple, House of God."

Hailey has an imaginary friend named Sada. Hailey pretends to play with her a lot. The other day she told me that Sada couldn't come play because she was at home sick. Today, we accidently left to go trick or treating without sada, so Stephen told hailey to call her and she said, "i don't have my phone", so stephen let her use his, and she called Sada and told her to meet us there.

Hailey was over at our neighbors house, and she asked Cory for a chip, and he said, "Why don't you go get dinner over at your house?" So she said ok, then took a chip off his plate and said, "this is for my baby" and then left to go home.

Halloween

Hailey loved being a fairy. She would get so excited and dance around. We went to our friends house and carved our pumpkin. It took hailey a little convincing, but i got her to stick her hand in and scoop out the pumpkin guts with me!

This was today, on Halloween. We went with our friends to a trunk-or-treat. Afterwards i took Hailey trick-or-treating around the block. There were barely any other trick-or-treaters, so every house told us to take a handful. I think i'm going to use this candy for stocking stuffers and easter, we have so much.

It's Fall

We're having so much fun in these leaves. We like to bury people in them and chase each other around with them, and Adelle will even throw them on herself!

Hair mishap

A couple weeks ago I walked into the kitchen to see Adelle with a handful of hair. Hailey was standing in Adelle's high chair cutting her own hair with her little scissors. She cut most of her bangs off, and i pulled a ton of hair out of the sides that she had cut. I almost cried!

Las Vegas

Stephen and i got to go on an all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas for stephen to present a paper. It was so amazing. We went and saw KA, a cirque du soleil performance and it was incredible. Our hotel was really sweet too. I love the style and hope my house looks like that some day. We left the kids with Stephen's aunt, Kara, my cousin and Stephen's sister Heather. It was so nice to have time just for me and stephen, but i was happy to come home and see my kids!

Nana's Visit

It finally rained here! It actually rained all day. I guess my mom brought it with her when she came to visit. It makes me miss home.

My mom and hailey always have to make a pie. I think Hailey looks forward to that.

We went and walked around the provo temple. But anytime we were near water, the girls could not stay still, as seen in this picture.

I just can't believe how cute these girls are! Hailey was making a funny face and Adelle tried to also!

Hike to Stewart falls

A few weeks ago we went on a hike to Stewart falls. It was about 4 miles round trip. The hike and the falls were beautiful. It felt so good to get out of the house and into nature.

A small party for Adelle

Every week we have mother's group, so a friend and i decided to have a little birthday party during mother's group. Her son is 4 days younger than Adelle.

Dinosaur Museum

We went to the dinosaur museum with Stephen's sister Heather the other week. They had this cave that the girls were to scared to go in, so i had to go with them.

Farm Country

We went to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point for mother's group last week. Hailey got to feed a goat, and the girls both got pony rides. Hailey LOVED it! She didn't want to get off the pony when it was over. Heather came with us too, and couldn't believe people actually paid money to see farm animals!

Hogle Zoo

We took the girls to hogle zoo last week. Stephen worked 40 hours in 3 days to get a paper done, so we had Thursday and Friday off to play.

We went to the bird show, and they had birds swoop down right about our heads. They seriously were only an inch away.
