Santa

We had a stake primary activity today and Santa was there! Hailey didn't want to go see santa at first, but i carried her over and put her on his lap. She seemed pretty scared at first, but then she was good. Santa gave her a goody bag, and now she keeps saying "Santa gave me crayons", and "Santa scared me".

sledding

On saturday it snowed a ton so we bought a sled and went to Rock Canyon Park. This park is a bowl shape so there are hills all around, a perfect place to go sledding. Hailey loved sledding down the hill with us and didn't get scared at all, even though i was a little scared! She didn't mind getting snow thrown in her face either! Adelle was just so happy the whole time, bundled up like an eskimo. Kids definately make things like sledding more fun!

first snow day

hailey loves the snow. even though her hands were soaking wet and freezing, she still didn't want to come inside! after we were done making the snowman, i went inside then checked on hailey and she said, "look mom, i made ears!" She had made little balls of snow and put ears on the snowman.

Adelle is happy so much. I love it.

Stephen and hailey went outside after we bought her some boots and gloves and made a snow hill. She had so much fun sliding down!

Christmas Tree

On monday we bought a christmas tree and decorated it. Now there are only decorations left on the top 1/3 of the tree! Hailey likes to take them off.

We went trick-or-treating on halloween and Hailey had so much fun! She kept saying, "let's go to the next house!" and "we're trick-or-treating!" She loved the candy part!

This is the headboard i made for our bed. Now i just have to work on getting the rest of our stuff put away.

Halloween costumes

The night of Hailey's birthday we had a ward halloween party. So we all dressed up. Hailey was an 80's aerobic instructor, Adelle was a bunny, Stephen was an electricuted electrician, and i was a volleyball player.

Hailey's Birthday

All morning, while i was doing Hailey's cake, she kept getting a hold of the icing containers and had a pretty good sugar high. She wouldn't take a nap that day. We had a few of hailey's friends over for cake and to open presents. She had so much fun playing with everyone.

Adelle

Adelle was born on September 4th, weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz., 19 inches long. She is a really good baby, she just loves to be held all the time. Still working on the sleeping at night thing though!
