New Years Sleepies...

It's not too often that I can sneak a picture of the little kids while they are sleeping. This was New Years morning, so I'm guessing that they were extra tired from all of the Christmas festivities that they were able to sleep through the beep of the camera focusing. What is it about watching your kids sleep anyways, that's so relaxing and peaceful?! I'll take it any chance I get!

Post-Christmas Concentration...

I thought that Harrison's facial expression was too funny on the picture not to share. Not sure if is was because he had been looking at it so long that his eyes were starting to hurt, or if it was an eyebrow stretch of sorts from not getting as much sleep from the night before. Maybe even a combination of the two! And of coarse, Maura hounding the cat.

I think it's funny seeing Emmett playing with something while sucking his thumb. He has really enjoyed his new book cartridges!
And more of Maura and Barbie! Seriously, she was everywhere that the cat was and loved giving her treats so she would come close.

A Continuation of Christmas...

You would thing that we were already at next Christmas for how long it's taken me to get these up. Oy!!

Emmett got some fun new cartridges for his V. Reader and Leapster...

Harrison loved playing Santa and did a great job reading the names on the packages to figure out who they went to...
And Maura was pleased as pie by the cat (Barbie) that my brother has!!! She would have loved on that cat the whole time we were they if Barbie would have allowed her to. Since Barbie is a kitten, she was super playful and was great entertainment for the kids.

I just loved this cheesy smile that Maura gave after opening some of her presents.

It was a great celebration!

Going Back to Christmas...

There really isn't a good excuse for not having any Christmas pictures up yet. I just didn't have the motivation to get them from my camera to the computer. Now that I've done that, I can get them up on the blog. Whew!

We did Christmas as our immediate family before the extended festivities began.

Maura got a new book...

Emmett got some new puzzles...

And Harrison got Lincoln Logs!
Don't let the picture fool you into thinking that he wasn't completely excited, because he was! Harrison loves Lincoln Logs! He got introduced to them at church during Exhale (our mom group). He talked about them constantly, so we thought that maybe he would enjoy some at home, and spur some creativity considering he's not into drawing or coloring.

We also had a couple of our regular babysitters come by with some little gifts for the kiddos! A couple videos and a new pair of pajamas later, and they were thrilled for Christmas to really get started.

This is just the first installment of our Christmas together. I like to break it down so that it's not so overwhelming for me, or anyone else that might read this.
