I LOVE holidays! Have I mentioned that? Probably, but I'm repeating it. I do.
But this month is all about the LLOOOVVE!
(Well, President's too, but not yet. P.S. I wrote this post in Feb.)
Before Valentine's there was Gram's birthday. She turned 95 and is doing great!
I think her party wore her out, but all the people there are a tribute to her wonderful life.
All the Ladies...(Denise, Deb, Gram, Mom & Me)
Did I also mention that my Grandma despises getting her picture taken? Yep. Even after 95 years of it she still will not look at the camera, smile or anything. Pffff. Luckily we can sneak a few decent ones in.
95! Can you believe that?!? When I think of all that has changed in her lifetime, I can't believe that she is not more overwhelmed by it.
She has been probably the most spiritually influential woman in my life. I owe her so much. I would not be who I am today without her.
Right after Gram's birthday was Chinese New Year!
Are we Chinese? No. Is it a holiday and excuse to celebrate and order take-out? Yes. Therefore we did.
Even J gave the chopsticks a try!
Now...on the the day of L*O*V*E!
We covered all the basics: Valentine's for the class, chocolate/caramel dipped pretzel rods for teachers, doorbell ditching treats for the neighbors, and a little something I thought my kids would love because I love them. See? Love, love, love, love, love!
Love all these piggys (S, M, & XL)!
Noah's TNT Valentine Box
Corner of Zoe's Valentine Box (Yes, made by her.)
J & Scooby Movie
Noah & Gift
Noah's Valentine to Dad
(Pistol, Dad & Noah)
In Noah's note to me he used hearts instead of o's. Already a romantic!
Hmmmm...can only find half of the Valentine pictures, so I guess that's all you get for now!
Hope your February was as LOVEly as mine!
