had our club's annual fun touch at yio chu kang stadium last saturday and we won the U20 girls category! juan, gina, ylin, amanda and me. i was really happy la but i didnt really contribute much also. was just glad that my sister actually came down to watch and support me. our first few games were not too bad but it got more intense as we progressed into the finals. to the extend that my boots even gave way! thank goodness the final game ended just when the sole of my left boots nearly came off. i was so kan cheong that i made berni take off her shoes at the sideline haha.

that night my family had dinner at macpherson. i was telling the drink auntie that i wanted "whatever" and it took her awhile to realise that it was the new drink i was refering to. my sister and i even had to go up to her stall to point out which one. haha reminds me of that ad on tv with the 2 ah bengs at the cashier.

my brother left for france this morning for a school trip. although he is a quiet person, it doesnt feel the same at home. dont forget to buy me something nice ok!

i havent wrote anything in here for a long while. sarah so freaking lazy haha. its exactly 1 month since i got home. i lost 2 kg when i came back. then 2 weeks later i gained 2kg and just a week ago i gained another 1kg! i'm seriously getting scared la. i dont even dare to weigh myself now. the good thing is that i've started rugby training. the feeling of playing rugby again is great. however, i'm lagging behind everyone and have a lot to catch up on. fitness training yesterday was horrifying. i dont know how the rest could still look so fresh after the session!

i'm now working at my old workplace at bugis. fortunately Vanessa had a temp position available at the right time. i kinda enjoy working here. people are generally very nice and approachable. however, sometimes work really sucks when you have so much to do. not to mention that i've already experienced my first office politics when someone lodged a complain to her boss that i wasnt employed through an agent only to find out later that i have worked here previously last year so there wasnt a need to. i really dont understand these people. so much work yet got so much time to kaypo on other people's business without checking properly.

we visited my grandmother last week and she actually didnt recognise me! i was talking and standing beside her and suddenly she asked my dad when i'm coming home. quite hurting but she's 90 so i dont blame her. how many people can actually live till this ago. i'm really thankful that she's healthy and still going strong. i hope the next time i visit she will remember that i'm back.

alright, i better get back to work. didnt do much work today. practically 80% of the office is in perth for the annual conference this week so only about 20 staff for the next few days. everyone is slacking as well. we even had a breakfast party today which was quite funny haha. all in all, i think i only worked for 3 hours today. shiok! we should have more conferences!

ahhh...i'm finally home. where can i begin to say how superbly fantastic to have real chinese and local food again! so far i had katong laksa, rojak, kway chap and wanton mee which was so good. i also took my first trip down to vivocity yesterday with Priscilla. not too bad but its so packed even on weekdays. madness. not to mention that the weather is killing me. i prefer to go to places where i can just wear tees and shorts haha.

so far i'm done with 3 of my papers. the biology one was like crap. now i'm wondering why did i take this course on organisms and their environment in the first place. totally no interest esp since i have to remember so many cheem terms and numbers which didnt seem to mean anything to me. but i'm glad its all over. oh! this guy sitting in front of me suddenly farted during my psychology paper! totally lost concentration for the next 5 mins or so.

i'm having a great time with my new roommate stella. the only thing is that she likes to cook and i have been eating a lot for the past week! the african food is good but we've been having a lot of late night supper. very very bad haha. i can already imagine myself gorging on all the local food when i get home. the first one will be katong laksa! and then joo chiat's wanton mee and adam's prawn mee. hokien mee anf bak kut teh as well haha. anyone want to join me in my feast?

alamak time is passing so fast and i'm getting scared! the final exams is in about 1 and a half weeks time and i'm not really prepared. so many assignments and tests. so many other things to settle as well before i leave. realized that i really appreciate all the little things my family, friends and esp dad did for me in the past. everything is just driving me crazy. as much as i want time to pass super super fast so that i can go home soon, i kinda want more than 24 hours a day from now to 13 april.

new roommate stella from africa moved in yesterday. she is so sweet and sincere. why didnt didnt she moved in earlier. found out why my previous roommate moved out!!! haha kaypo kaypo. cos she's P******T! what the crap right. OMG younger than me some more tsk tsk.
