last day of 2011

well, what can i say? its december 31st!

2011, not a good year for me cause alot of things happened.

Appreciate what my friends have done for me, i love you guys lots!

2012, please be a good year to me! :)

Worked for the mooncake event for 2 weeks straight during the period : Aug/Sept. Well, met lots of people, be it "good" people or "bad" people. Kinda allow me to have broader perspective on the kind of people living in this world.

Less than a month and sem 3.2 will begin! I am quite excited for it, most probably its because the holiday is too long? Again, gonna meet up with friends before everybody is busy with the last sem of the poly life :)

Internship

Just a blink of an eye, 16 weeks has past and it marked the end of my SIP. I still remember at that point of time i was thinking of whether to choose DBS M&A/ HSBC- Investment as my first choice. In the end i chose HSBC-Investment and hope that i might be able to get in because I'm quite attracted to the word 'investment' haha

First day of work, I met up with Zhongwei, Junjie and Aziemah at 8.30am @ Singpost. We were rather quiet and scared as we were wondering how our supervisors were like. In the end, both of my supervisors were in Malaysia and I followed Qixiang (NYP's Intern) for the first two days. He asked me if I know Bloomberg (I didn't even heard of it before) and told me that every morning I've to summarise headlines. Once I heard " summarise headlines" , i went 0.0!!! because i really hate summarising. 12.30pm, we went to have lunch with all the NYP interns and Jon ( the contract staff) Had some small talks and one of them told me that i'll learn alot of things in my department.

On the third day when my supervisors (SK and Adeline) were back, i met both of them and told Qixiang that SK looked kinda fierce :/ hahhaa but then Qixiang told me that they were quite friendly and damn joke lol. We had lunch together and SK asked me lots of questions. One of it was : How come you're posted to investment department when you are studying Dip BIT. I bet most of my coursemates got this question asked when they told their colleagues they are from BIT. And of course, on thursday we've got a farewell lunch for Qixiang and thru the conversation Qixiang had with his friend on Sametime, I realised that day was his birthday too!

One week past and I'm all alone with 2 supervisors. First time doing the headlines and I'm quite excited (though i dread doing it). I must say that i really tried doing it and also afraid to let them see what I've done. As time past, 熟能生巧 is the proverb that could describe the things i did in the period.

During these 16 weeks, SK and Adeline taught me a lot of things ( from studying to working ) and i swear i'm going to remember what they said. Also, I met a lot of awesome colleagues in HSBC Insurance :))

P.S. I will miss them alot!!

it's not always easy to false a smile infront of others when you know some depressing matter. But even though you feel like crying, you still have to put on a strong front.

You must always believe in miracles. It does happen, you know? it happened once when you're in P6 and it will happen again and again.

Always look on a bright side of life.

short update...

just a short update.

it's my first time working in my 19 years of life in this world. YES! first time!! together with jiamin, pehchen and yen li, we worked in ITE college east for the three days. what can i say? The staffs there are friendly and hilarious.lol.


next week will be a hectic week for me. I will have to go to school for pre-trip briefing on monday, wednesday and thursday will be the UP YOUR SERVICE workshop. its from 9am to 4pm. imagine i have to wake up at 8am~ when i'll always wake up at 11am. :/




8more days to australia- melbourne! cant wait :)

after november

oh wow! just realised my last post was november? haha well, i bet that you wont blog a single thing when most of the people have a twitter account.

so, its march already. from november to march, a lot of things happened. :)

let's not talk about 2010 but 2011. first cousin stayover to count down for 2011!! we went to Petal Macs at freaking 1plus am for supper, fat much. Then for feb, its an awesome CNY together with my cousins but also, heard something about some stuff. What i feel is that, if the bonds are so easily broken then..... ..... i've nothing much to say. There are two sides of story that is happening right now. If you choose to just listen to one side of the story, :)

Mum bought a lot of things for my cousin who is coming to stayover at my house. she bought blanket,pillow then the next day she bought clothes hanger and all other stuffs.lol. hopefully she will come soon! because im real bored at home right now ~

exams ended on 25 feb which marked the end of my year 2 in poly life. kinda sad because it means we are going to be the senior and boohoo! graduating in next year's feb. :( sad.

internship gonna start on 18 April and im going to australia on 27 march!!! kind of excited because im going together with airu, ivy and jc!! oh, its a school trip though but who cares?! :D

Ivy piak me with a ruler when the LT was sooooo quiet at 5.45pm! Jc and i went : OUCH! and immediately covered our mouth when the sound came out. embarrassing to the max because after when everyone heard i ouch, all of them laughed -_- ahhh. As i went out of the LT, feeyawn, shiming and others were like, " hahaha sexy ouch." AHH CRAP.HAHA

Had a small cousins gathering on friday. Jingwen and some others didnt manage to come. Ailin went to TP and we went back together after my lecture ended. Ah long and Jiale came shortly after i reached my house estate and we all went up together. Ordered pizza when i was in school and the delivery man had to wait for me for a few minutes because i wasnt at home at that point of time. haha. my sister came back shortly after we were eating our pizza! all were chatting happily and we began to search for movies to watch. My laptop wasnt in its own shape on friday, which was kinda weird and it pisses me off.

It was my first time trying to connect the himi cable from laptop to the LED, it took us some time and was really excited when the screen tallies with my laptop. way too cooooool :D
watched back up plan and they went back home at 11.30pm

today is the day i wouldnt want to remember. something happened at 1am and 3am and i didnt get a good sleep afterall. woke up at 4am so i can send my sister to changi airport on time. 90Km/hr, fast and furious and i still dont really like parking. haha. sis went to check in at5 plus and her flight was at 7.15am. reached home at 6plus and went to sleep for an hour. i almost overslept as im suppose to meet miss tong at 8am :/ brought her for facial and ahaha! she was complaining how red her face was when i met her again at 6plus pm for dinner. she came my hosue and we watched harry potter and the deathly hallows on funshion and its really blur. anyway, gonna watch it on wednesday with my darlingsss! :D

im so bored now because my sister is not at home! and she's not going to be at home for a week starting from today. :/ feeeels so quiet without her and yeahness, its only a week :)

Sem 2.2. A brand new start. New projects, new modules...

Had a fun week!

apparently, my blog is dead. haha.
i'm 19 now :/ which means next year i will be 20. omg, how old can that be?

went to pulau ubin yesterday with wulang, gimchen and dejun. wanrong cant go because of her PW. really had much fun yesterday and the most memorable one was the wild boar!

we spotted one small wild boar and went to look at it, i thinkkk, its my first time looking at wild boar. haha. while looking at it, gimchen abruptly tapped my shoulder and point to the other side. i turned and screamed: mummmmyyyyy~ -_- embarrassing much. it was so loud that everyone turned to my direction. why i shouted was because there's one biggggggg wild boar behind us. jiamin even went :fk u when i shouted mummy and she didnt even realise that.HAHA!

i was really quite dead though because before oct 16 there's a camp. i only had 2-3 hours of sleep, so my eyes were -_- most of the time.

CAMP WAS AWESOME!

initially, it was quite disappointing. but as time goes, i think that it was really awesome.thanks to everyone's credit! :D

to me, the best part of the camp was nightwalk. weiqing and i started with the "walkie talkie conversation". "weiqing to keagan, weiqing to keagan, where are you?" no one replied. we went saying the same sentence for four times and XY finally replied: " we cannot find him, never mind we continue with the ngihtwalk first" "we need him to officially start the nightwalk, can find him?" ..................

the freshies were quite noisy in the beginning but after when we went: "can you all just keep quiet for awhile? someone is missing" and they kept quiet. it was really scary, i swear. when weiqing asked james if he saw keagan, james was like: just now i was with him, but after that i dontknow where he went.

and i remember, the last sentence of the conver was: okay, zhuoyi and i go and find him now.
we dashed out of the LT. i bet LT was in a silence at the point of time. haha.
after when weiqing and i were outside the LT, we went: OMG SCARYYYY!!

not funny mannn, we scare ourself when we were in that conversation. legs turned jelly straight away after when i was out of the LT. Keagan asked me to take cargo lift after i was out of LT but weiqing asked me to take the middle lift with him. i think he was scared too.ahaha! that dark cloth in the lift also freak us out when we were entering -_-

when i reached, the place was scaryyyyyyy~~~ weiqing went: zhuoyi is here! dont scare her.
i searched for my room as titus told me the room is beside the middle lift. i opened that door and saw zhongwei and yuda -_-", they looked scary. shouted and asked them where is the room im supposed to be at. they said at the other end so i walked alone~ to the other end and thats the part i started to scream. koksoon, raynard, ivy and peeps' face were OMG, SCARY! i ran and screamed to the room i need to be in and got another shock -_- titus and dezhao covered their face with a black cloth which made them looks like kidnapper .haha

in the room, we rehearsed. koksoon and raynard came into the room at times. and they scammed us. bloodyhell. there was also a bat in the school which totally freaked most of the wanderers.at the end, zhongwei saved the day by knocking the bat out.haha "zhuoyi to everyone, the bat has fainted" lol

day2 of the camp, everyone looked tired. some of them didnt even sleep. final clash was the fav among all the games in day2. everyone seemed to have fun. :) after the expression night, we went oppo school and had our dinner. zhongwei damn irritating, i swear.HAHA!

Hopefully we can have another camp in next holiday! :)

CIP

My blog, well, is dead for a few weeks. Just a small update then :)

Did CIP- to the goat farm yesterday with the freshies and some of the main comm. After every CIP i did, i just felt that i am really fortunate to live in Singapore and have my family with me, supporting me and be there with me whenever i need them. Last CIP was to Vietnam, you can just draw a flower on a paper and they were so happy. This time, bring the kids from a home to the goat farm. They are from P1 to P5, i can say that they are a group of clever kids.

Chat with them on the way to the goat farm, no matter what, we have to entertain them. And when he moment they board the bus, we knew that we do not have to start playing the games already. aha. But some of them were really quiet and its difficult to have a chat with them. Afterall, we still can handle everything, great job guys :)

reached the goat farm. we were really excited, esp when i see the goats. HAAH. They are soooo cuteeeeeeee!!! Ivy was drooling when she saw the process of them putting the milk pump to them. LOL HA!tried one mouth of goat milk, cant stand the taste after drinking it. So shall not try it anymore next time.hehe.

The whole CIP was quite short. actually after mixing with the kids, we really hope that the whole CIP can be longer. One of the kid even asked :huh, why so fast end?

mmmm, shall organise one CIP next time eh? :)

driving

oh yeah!SPAIN FTW!haha! my mum kept betting on holland when i say spain might win and thus, she owes me $50.HA! :P
went home at 1plus and slept for an hour before going for my driving lesson.

had my practical lesson just now. today's instructor was rather "cold" in a way... and again, im nervous. i cant understand why too but im just nervous. After driving back to the school, he went : actually you can drive you know? but i dontknow why , i think you are nervous. there are two types of nervous. one is when you totally dontknow how to control and everything so you are nervous,another one is you are just nervous."

and i need brush up my Basic theory again. -_- today's instructor asked me about the safe following distance and all but i forgot. haha. major fail :/
i still prefer my first and second lesson's instructor. hehe. they damn joke and i really can relax when im under their lesson :))

tues and thursday, dedicated my whole day to OB proj. Hopefully can do well in it :)

4 projs due-ing

so, had my practical lesson last week and i've cleared one module! two more modules to gooo. :)
am crazily, insanely in love with projects. one submission on 16, another on 23, another one on 30 and last one is on 4th. -_- one follow by another. seriously...

friday went to pharmacy with ivy and jingchee for otc proj and laughed like mad non stop. its been so long i've laughed that long LOL. seriously a memorable day. haha

BITIG wise, we all can feel the stress-ness coming up. events and events. planning an event is not easy but of course, we wont give up and will continue to plan more events for everybody :)

not a good day

okay, today's practical lesson sucks ttm. one of the reasons is because my last lesson was more than a week ago and yup! today's driving was -_-" Even me myself cant take it. cold sweat when i was walking towards the busstop, shivering at times. Instructor said that i dont have confidence in the beginning but towards the end, my confidence is back :D

i sighed a few times, and he went: dont sigh, will grow old very soon. -_-" today's instructor was rather fierce :/ but after that he went: im fierce right? because im very strict. oh well, strict is a good thing actually. haha

i did a stupid thing today, too nervous i think. what i did was, i forgot to shift the gear to first gear and wanna move off already. and when it didnt move i went: ehhh?? and i look at him then realised i forgot to shift the gear. -_- totally malu ttm pls.

he said: manual difficult right?? need to shift this shift that, clutch in and out. lol. yea, totally.

oh, and i lost my beloved phone :( first time in my life mann i swear. lost it in TM. its either someone took it or i misplaced it. upset for a few hours even up to now. its my first time to have a phone for myself and its my first time to lose it like that :( nevermind, shall save money now and buy another one next time. 28=bad day. will rmb that.

well, its been a hectic week i think? burned Java Project into a disc and passed up to Mr jackson. The feeling is shiok ttm! one load off my shoulder.
Yesterday and today had subcomm interview for the freshies. I bet the freshies must be damn nervous, like how i felt last year. tongue tied:/ hahaha. but yeah, they did well and wish them luck!

watched Knight and Day yesterday with xiaomei. The show, not bad, very exciting and quite hilarious.close to 2 hours and most importantly, tom cruise is still that good looking, HA!
reached home at 10plus pm, before that talked craps. must thank him for driving out mann, because i do not have to take bus home.HA! im lazy to travel whenever school starts because its freaking hell tiring. tired to the maxxxxx. its like, to the max. im going to be a panda soooonnn, in a process i think :/ somemore there's lots of pimples :( i m sad! gonna have an early night rest everyday, but its impossible :(

tomorrow gonna watch Karate Kid with my fellow main comm @vivo?!! :)

first day of school!

day one, school starts! its tiring. got to wake up at 7.45am so i wont be late for school. today is sylvia's and joon meng's birthday. HAPPYBIRTHDAY! :))

someone sms-ed me and told me that he is single and if im free next week -_- and i went: haha, i also didnt ask about your relationship status, tell me for what? nope.
yesterday he did sms me and i didnt reply. so today he sms me again and asked me why didnt reply him. i went: cause i dont feel like replying you?

boo! stuck at homee! booo!
initial plan was singing k with H3F! but because i went out almost everyday, my mum says: i dontlike, you went out almost everyday! you are going to stay at home today! :( BOO!!
so no K for me and thus, shall dedicate the time to my projs thn.

went driving just now, 4th lesson already, thats fast mann. went out to drive at the 3rd lesson instead of 2nd because i do not have PDL. was excited because i can get to go out and drive, but scary at the same time -_- so many damn cars. zzz.

second lesson was the one which i have the most memories mann. because someone bang onto my car! -_- pro ttm, its inside the circuit somemore. and its such a waste of time for meee :( another BOO! cdc definitely not my place and i gotta be more careful :/

having next lesson at 29th june,which is like, 2 weeks time. :( scared that i will forget everything so shall recap every night before i sleep mann.

first week of holiday

SO! one week of holiday just, ZOOM, ended. all i can say was, i did not spend my time well. spent most of the time watching vampire diaries and i finished watching it! its really nice and yup, go and watchhh !!

tuesday went back to school to do proj and ended up, we discussed the upcoming class outing - BBQ @ ECP and had web-cam session. lol. totally wasted tuesday but we do had fun discussing. haha



stayed home and slack the whole day on wednesday and thursday had my first practical lesson. i like my instructor because he is hilarious.HAHA. first hour of lesson was boring because he was teaching all the odometer and stuffs, and at the last 40 mins or so, i finally get to drive!! clutch, break, accelerator. when the car moves, i was thinking: omg, am i driving? haha. enjoyed much and having my next lesson tomorrow! :)

after the driving lesson, i went to school to find XY and weiqing and off we go to children's home with mr jackson and ms serene. we were really quiet at the beginning of the few mins but after that all started to talk. [ we were all in mr jackson's car] when we reached AMK, it seemed like we were in malaysia. mr jackson was damn funny. he went: omg, we are in malaysia. how come theres this kind of place one. [something like that] haha. funny ttm. and ms serene kept saying how nice the food is at AMK.LOL.

friday went back to school with Ivy and JC. did Java web interface proj. in the beginning, we were quite fast, but after we need to link two different jsp together, we were stucked. -_- and all we did was sing and shout like as if it was our home. -_- java killed alot of my brain cells that day and we call it a day at 5.15.saving the file in our thumbdrive was the hilarious part.HAHA. because we thought that the computer in the labs will auto shut down, we prayed that the file will be saved in the thumbdrive before it auto shutdown.LOL!
too hungry, we all went to tampines and had our dinner - pastamaniaaaaaaa!! while having our dinner, theres this looneytunes thingy at open plaza. so we went to sit down and watched after finished eating.cute right?haha


went to arcade, popular and toysrus after that. took all the toys we see and hit each other like nobody business.omg. totally had fun!

saturday went to PC show 2010. wanted to buy printer cartridges but they dont sell that -_- Waste my time travelling down and i blamed my sister for this because she's the one who asked me to go down when i said i dont want to. but instead, i bought earpiece.HAHA!
JC had fun by taking all the brouches from every participating brands.LOL
went to shop after that and back to bedok lib to borrow books. :)

second week of the holiday starts, and i shall make sure i finish all the proj asap! :)

Opportunity is missed by most of the people

last week after marketing's paper, went out with H3F! met belinda in school and off we go to town! dean and ting met earlier to buy the cake and stuffs to surprise belinda so i was accompanying belinda to shop. at 6pm, we went to fish n co to dine there. first surprised was from dean because intially he cant come and we decided to have girls shopping instead. second surprise was the cake and the stuffs in fish n co.HAHA! it was really embarrassing for belinda because she had to stand on the chair and the stuffs went: birthday girl in the housee blablablaaaaaaaaa. fyi, i kept laughing all the way. way tooo hilarious.HAHA.
HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY BELINDA! :)) next will be dean's.hahahaha

saturday went out with JC to buy presents. spent quite alot and i swear it was fun in the process.




sunday met my cousins!! two birthday girls, ailin and jiale. ate pastamania and shopped for the rest of the day. next time we shall fly kite at marina barrage yup! :)

currently something in my mindddd. but yea. same old thing. :)

last 2 papers! and i still dont have the study mood. tired much, i went to sleep at 10pm yesterday because since i dont have the study mood, might as well sleep? dont waste the time right? haha. woke up at 9plus. saw ivy's sms. shitzxzx. i think i was sleeping soundly at that point of time already. ha!

biz stats yesterday was quite easy. think everyone will score quite well for that. today having java test and tmr is marketing. :D wellll, cant wait for friday to comee!! like seriouslyyyy!!!
