Born on Christmas Day

Daddy scooped a pregnant fish from our fish tank and attempted to be a fish gyne. He pried opened the fish's mouth and relased the baby fishes!

The tiny black specks in the picture, if you can see any, are the babies! All 12 of them!

It was amazing! Somewhow I thought that fishes, like humans, give birth via their reproductive organs. Or lay eggs or something like that. Although Discovery Channel showed once that some fishes actually store their babies in their mouths. Hmm. Ok. I'm ranting already. At 12.30am.

These baby fishes are born on Jesus' birthday too! =)

I bless Your Name, I bless Your Name

I bless Your name
I bless Your name
I give You honour, give You praise
You are the Life, the Truth, the Way
I bless Your name, I bless Your name

Hope EVRYONE had a blast!
I know I did!

Christmas Eve

Started off the morning with service with Shin, and then a mad rush after that. Lunched at BK, spent a ridiculous $130 (!!) on Christmas cards! Then frantically trying to finish writing the cards at Food Junction, which we didn't of course, before we rushed off to church to learn the sign language for the Covenant Service.

Mad rush after that to Shin's hostel to continue writing the cards. Caught a cab at 6.30pm (I know I was suppose to be at the dance room by then!), to prep for the Chirstmas Eve Watch-night service.

Service was great! The drama, Love Unreservedly, was used really well by God to minister to poeple! I had watched it for all 3 services, and I was still reminded of how God loved each once of us, even though we're sinners and so unworthy of His love, that He gave us His Son Jesus to take on all our sins on the cross! Even though He hated sin, He loved us, His people, enough to adopt us as His children!

We didn't trip on our skirts as we do our possesionals and recessionals! =) That was a good thing! We remembered our steps, and really managed to worship and praise our Lord Jesus on His birthday!

Was glad to see Jud in her beautiful sari and Xavier in that sharp blue-striped shirt!

Photo-taking after that with everyone else! =) People! If you're reading this, please do the following. I don't know whose cameras were used ah, but if you have my face in your camera, please email the photos to me okie? =) Thanks thanks!

Supper with Boon, Abi-boy, Joycee (see? I mentioned you in my blog ok? =P Love your green 50s dress!), Sue, Khen Wai, Michele, and a lot lot of church people at the other tables at the coffeeshop at Holland V till about 3.30 in the morning. I was suppose to be in church by 7.30am on Christmas Day!!

Christmas Day

Slept at 4.40am, after removing make-up, washing out the hair-spray and glitter in my hair, writing really last minute Christmas cards (most of which are still in my bag, because I didn't have time to give them out! Haha!). Woke up at 6 to give morning calls to Christabelle and Pearlyn.

Showered again, pulled on the leotard and tights, applied foundation, and off to church at 7am.

Usual make-up, helping the lil Sec 1 gals to get ready, costumes, ribbons, hair (think we all inhaled enough hair-spray to last us till next Christmas! =P), props, pray and we're on!

Pastor Joe, Li Huan and Siew Peng set up a Christmas lunch to thank those involved - the choir, ensemble, drama peeps, band and dancers. We had pizza from Santino, ham, durian log cake (YUMMY!!!), carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and mango mousse cake!

After that sinful lunch, which is SO not part of a dancers' diet (*wink*), coupled with the lack of sleep from the last night, I went home to concuss, not literally, I really meant sleep, till this morning!

Boxing Day

Woke up at 6am to go with Moo to send his mum and sis off. They're going to KL for his grand-dad's death anniversary.
Got a message this afternoon that yet another person has been called back home to the Lord last night.
We celebrated many unions this year... and also mourned for the loss of many loved ones as well.......
Like Boon said, life is unpredictable. That is why we should live each day of our lives as if it's our last..........

The Dude whom we're celebrating

Thursday
Met SK and Gie for lunch at the noodle place at HV, afterwhich Gie drove us to Vivo City to get pressies for Noe Noe and Chris. After much searching, we finally settled on a pink Esprit t-shirt for Chris and a Fox denim mini-skirt for Noe Noe (my idea). =)
Then Uncle KC drove us to church for the Christmas Leadership Summit from Holiday Inn. We had games, pizza, thanksgiving for 2006 and prayers for 2007, worship, birthday cake for the December babies (namely the abovementioned...) as well as mini cornettos after.
Oh! Got Christmas present from the organizing team, Vic, Amaria and Eve-Jie, too! =) Even Greater by Reinhard Bonnke.
Pastor Joshua also shared about how we'll be so uncomfortable if we were to squeeze ourselves in tiny atoms. If likes how uncomfortable Jesus would have felt when an infinite God came down to a finite earth. It's mind-blowing! Okie, I might not have explained it as clearly as he did (like Gayle said, i'm really bad at explaining things. =P). But you get the picture, right? =)
Friday
Met Moo at Sunshine Plaza. Had wanton mee at my favourite stall, Parklane Zha Yun Tun Mee House! Yummy! Got free extra friend wanton and soup too! Was nice talking to Big bro's parents. =)
We then headed off to Tanjong Pagar to meet his mum to watch Serene's band concert at Singapore Conference Hall. The concert was pretty good! Mayflower Secondary Concert Band! They played my favourite piece, The Phantom of the Opera Medley. But the version they played was from the movie and the arrangement sounded a bit disjointed.
It was my first band concert in a long time. Really missed playing in a band! Like how Evelyn and I were watching the Christmas ensemble today and reminiscing about our secondary school days.
Think I'll be pretty busy these next few days. So here's wishing everyone a

Melancholic Thots...

I've been thinking about Grand-dad a lot these 2 days. I don't know why. Friday will mark a full six months since his.....departure.

I'm still not over how quickly it was, from a healthy old man with a loud voice, to a frail comatose body on a bed, to a corpse in a wooden box, to ashes sitting in an urn at the Garden of Remembrance. It was only a matter of days.

I miss him immensely. We miss him. Chinese New Year is in exactly 2 months, 8 months from Father's Day 2006, when they pulled the plug from the machine. It wouldn't be the same without our patriarch.

I've been guilt-ridden for the longest time. So many things that I should have done not didn't do. Now it's far too late.

I love my Grand-dad and I know he loves me too. He told me so. Am holding on to the hope of seeing him in heaven, where he'll be getting to know God more.

I miss your Ah Yeh. Will see you soon.

Blessed to be a Blessing

FRIDAY

Friday was the first time I returned to the NUS cell after MIA-ing for a really long time, because of worship practices and camp preparation.

I really missed being in a community of believers, peers around my age and at the same stage in life. Sharing the same struggles, debating about issues we care about, edifying, encouraging and praying for one another.

Worship was done by Youya and Thammy did the cell word. Having been away from cell for so long, I kinda forgot what receiving from God feels like. Cell word was from the Sermon on the Mount series and it was, coincidentally or not, about the value of money and storing up treasures in heaven, Matthew 6:19-34.
It's a passage I read when I first started Tribute, after I rejected the fat pay check from the Straits Times. Serving only one Master.

I'm still struggling with not storing up treasures on earth but storing up treasures in heaven. Not worrying about when I'll get a job, when my next pay check will come, when I can pay my Dad what i owed him for my university tuition fees. Money gives me immense security. Knowing that I have money and the economic power to consume what I want makes me feel good. Money gives me the ability to buy luxury brands, nice clothes, the latest handphone model, shoes. It gives me satisfaction to know that I'm carrying the latest bag of the season, to know I don't look frumpy despite my un-Asian size, to know that I can dress well because I can afford to. Coming from a middle-income background makes me want to earn more, achieve more, provide more for my parents, and drop the HDB image. Not that I have anything against HDB dwellers, I live in one myself, I just don't want to portray an image that says "middle-income". It's all about the image for me. I think it stems from being big and untypically Singaporean-looking. That's why I vowed not to dress the part. I try not to slouch and keep my posture straight, dress in "normal" clothes , only in a bigger size (thank God for Miss Selfridge and Topshop!), carry pretty bags, and try to look confident. To dress "right", look "right", be seen in the "right" places.

Ok, now I'm just ranting. The point is, I am too absorbed in trying to create an image and looking for security in the wrong places, when I'm suppose to find my security in my Heavenly Father. Friday's cell word was a reminder of that. Why should I worry when GOD Himself takes care and provides for the little sparrows and lilies? I am His daughter. Will he care less about me? Of course not!
Neither can I serve two Masters. It's just not possible. How can one give one's full attention to one Master when the other one demands his/her attention as well? Unlike Thammy, who's a multi-tasker (haha! Sorry! Bringing you up again.. =P), I don't have a problem understanding this because, like SK (Heh..), I'm not good at multi-tasking, at all. I understood that I cannot serve Money and God at the same time.

Thank God for the timely reminder.

SATURDAY

Saturday was Dover Celebrates Christmas day! It's basically a carnival organized by Dover RC for the residents and they invited SJSM to be a part of it. We had set up games stalls, food stalls, flea markets, and performances.

Gayle, Rachel, Rebecca and their parents set up a flea market. They were so tired that they overslept yesterday. =) Heard from Gayle that they managed to sell most of their stuff. It's great! So entrepreneurial!
That's my youth cell for you!

NUS cell set up a chocolate fountain stall next to the flea market.
We skewered pieces of honeydew, banana and marshmallow on satay sticks and dunked them in a chocolate fountain. It was really messy and most of us have got chocolate on our orange SJSM t-shirts! I, for one, am swearing off chocolate for a while. Looking and smelling chocolate for 4 hours straight is not as heavenly as I thought. Maybe I should apply to work at Godiva or something, and lose weight!
We've got people who are sweet enough to pop by to help us - boon, Abi-boy, Johanna (she helped us cleared some honeydew too, from the tray to her mouth.. =P), Vic, Noelle, Sue, even SK, after he finished dancing. =)

Peishan and gang did the Joyful Joyful dance as well. It was great! They re-choreographed some of the steps and updated their costumes as well. Lydia, Del, Hui Yi and I were screaming our heads off for them. Heh.

All in all, it was fun time of bonding with my NUS cell and Chee Lip, Thammy's friend who's relatively new in the cell. Apparently, he found me familiar and suddenly remembered that he first saw he at the premiere of Thammy's short film at Starlight Cinema, the one with free Stella Artois. Haha!

SUNDAY

Was blessed during Heartbeat service by a special guest, Ritchell Lim. SHe's visually impaired and only 11 years old. But she's got such a heart for God! And gifted with such a beautiful voice and gift of music! She shared with us some songs that she has written. Personally, I was just so touched by them because they're so real and they're just her prayers to Him. She sang 1 song which is her cry to God to heal her blindness. That was especially moving.

Christmas dance prac after cell with some unenthusiastic and unmotivated dancer. I almost lost my temper at them. But I love them all the same. They're really good dancers, if only they don't let their emotions get the better of them.

After that was a mad rush, in the heavy downpour, to Kranji to meet Moo to go to our second home. Haha!

This week's going to be busy too as we work towards Christmas.
Tues - Camp Evaluation Meeting
Wed - Christmas full-dress rehearsal
Thur - Christmas Leadership Summit
Fri - Serene's band concert with Moo
Sat - Christmas rehearsal
Sun - Christmas eve! =)

Boy, is this a long post!

Camp Theme Song

REFLECTOR
Planetshakers

Since I've found your love
I've never needed anything to fill my heart
Even when I fall
You're always there with open arms to pick me up
From the start I knew
No one else could make me feel the way you do
Everyday I want to grow
Just a little bit closer, just a little bit closer

I want to be a reflector
I want to shine with your glory
I want to let the whole world know that you're
Living in me

I want to burn with your fire
Shine my light a little brighter
I want to let the whole world know that
Jesus Lives in me

We've been REVAMPED!

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27

Camp Revamp's officially ended yesterday! Yeah!

We were so exhausted, with only 1 hour 45 minutes of sleep yesterday morning after the night games. We pulled the campers out of bed at 2am in the morning to play games, since campers don't usually sleep on the last night of camp. Finished at about 4am and we had our debrief and planning meeting after that till about 5.15am. By then we were zonked out.

It was tiring but really satisfying! Was a great camp! But not because of what we've done, but because God showed up! How can anyone deny that there is a God when we've seen His faithfulness and grace? He held the rain during games on the first and second day. He brought the rain anyway on the third day when we have outdoor cooking. By the time the rain came though, most of the campers have already finished cooking. =) He really spoke through Gary and Pastor Joshua during the sessions! I'm sure the girls have more insight on how guys function and the guys, on why girls act the way we do. This really helps in how we perceive the opposite sex and how we should be relating to them.

Ailing and Sophie, and Rachel joined us on Saturday too!

Worship was great as well! Really great! The Holy Spirit was really moving the Auditorium! Johnson, Sue, Ngiam Ngiam, Min Sin, Kwang How, great job! Izzy, No-no, Del and Chris, you guys did great! We know that it's all God, ya!

Gary also brought up an important point - most of the time, campers will feel a high after a youth camp which will only last at most 2 months. After which, we'll go back to ignoring God and not walking in His ways. May this camp be one where the campers are revamped and transformed in their hearts. And this had been the camp comm's prayer from the start! Glory to God in the highest!

We couldn't have done it without God leading the way. We really need to have a thanksgiving prayer meeting to give thanks to our Creator, who created us male and female in His image.

Well, the camp had been mostly good, but not without its glitches. For one, who would think,by looking at the photo below, that Sarimbun is infested with mozzies. COMMANDO MOZZIES for that matter! I've got like at least 20 bites on my legs! Don't think I'll be donning any mini-skirts soon (though I wore one when I went tanning today.. Hmm.. ). Ok, I sound really ditsy but my legs really itch! And my legs which look like pig trotters on normal days look even worse with my souvenirs from Sarimbun Scouts Camp!

Behind the serenity lies a hidden agenda- a bunch of conspiring commando mosquitoes!

Thank you dear camp comm, for putting all the hard work and for your willingness to serve in any way that you can!

SK, Le Hottest - You've been a great first-time camp commandant! You've handled situations really well and have showed maturity in the decisions that you make! You may look like a push-over but you've definitely proved that you're not! Proud of you, bro!

Delci - You're wise beyond your age! Thanks for stepping up in faith to come alongside SK in leading the team! You're such a dear sister to me and I've been really blessed by your servant-heart!

Josco - Where do you get the energy from?! When the rest of us are willing ourselves to stay awake during debrief and can't wait to get back to our room to sleep, you're there munching on your chicken drumsticks and chatting with Chloe and Joe! You've been the sweetest! I've been blessed by your encouragement and your immense sense of responsibility!

A-man-da - You're so cute! Did really really well in your role as Welfare Head and Food I/C! Thanks for holding the fort at the food tent when the rest of us are doing other stuff, running off for worship practice or just about everywhere at Sarimbun but the dining area. Haha! Your laughter is so contagious! You see, God has not forgotten about you! He has used you well for His glory!

Izzy Isabel - Thanks for the sweet thank you note, dear! And for being our Wonder Woman, carrying the heavy boxes of logistics on the trolley on the last night when the rest of us are dying to get some shut-eye! Your meeting minutes are super cute! You're usually so quiet and serious during worship prac, so I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that you're so bubbly and sweet! You go girl!

The first Noelle, Le Hot - No-no! You've been a great Games I/C and a wonderful drummer girl! Thanks for taking on the responsibility of planning the games all on your own, only asking us for help after your brain juices ran dry! You've done really well! And your corny jokes! Wah.. Really kept us entertained and came in handy during the night games! What will we do without you? =)

Wei Liang - Thanks for getting the logistics organized! I've also been really blessed by your prayers! And for entertaining us over the walkie-talkie! Haha! Oh! And for carrying all the packets of solid fuel all the way from camp to church! Xin ku ni le! You've really put your sweat and blood into this camp! =P And yes, the mud pool is still open. *Snigger snigger*

Christopher More-bo Le-ttu-ce - Chris! You made me grow abs! Your humour and jokes kept us in stitches! And kept our morales up as well! Haha! Your ability to tell jokes with a straight face baffles me! And the quirky comments you make during the sessions perked us up and made them more interesting! You truly been blessed with the gift of the gab and this makes you the easiest person to talk to!

Hui Yi - Administration is in your blood! You're like a little sister looking after the older sisters and brothers! Think you'll be taking over Lydia's role soon! =P Thanks for your willingness to just do things without complaints! Really! It's amazing how you avail yourself to help us with whatever we need! Thanks for being such a great sister!.

Dearest Camp Comm - Love you guys!

Counting Down......

1 day to Camp Revamp!

It'll be a mad rush today! From SJSM to All Saints' Church at Tanah Merah, to Sarimbun, back to church for Music Min Family Dinner and Christmas rehearsal, and to Elaine's for hang out time with camp comm after that! Just typing it out makes me tired already. =P

Most of the stuff that we need to do have been done and we're only left with the nitty-gritties. Quite good considering that the camp comm was only formed in mid-October. And we've got great help from Lydia and Huan Yang! =) Not forgetting God's faithfulness in His Providence in every way!
We're really praying for TRANSFORMATION of hearts, for the campers, and ourselves, to be REVAMPED by God, for HEALING of relationships and FREEDOM from bondages. We're also praying that this transformation will be permanent, that from 10th December 2006 onwards, Heartbeat and All Saints' youths will lead lives that glorify Christ and truly allow Him to mold them into Godly Men and Women.

Oh boy! It's good to be back!

My computer decided to take a break because it had a burn-out.. literally!

There I was checking my multiple emails, as usual, when my nose caught a whiff of a burning smell. I tried to ignore it but it got stronger and seems to be emitting from my CPU! I panicked, thinking that my comp will explode if I were to continue stressing it. So I switched it off immediately. With a proper shut down of course!

So my Dad got his friend to come fix it. That guy removed my hard drive and I was without connection to civilisation for a week! Thank God Moo was nice enough to check important emails for me! =)

Good news on my side! No, I'm not getting married!

My lil god-bro (yes, another one), just received his PSLE results and he's got 3 As and an A* for Math, with an aggregate of 251! This might not sound very impressive to you high-flyers out there, namely Thammy and Jim! Haha! Kidding! But we're all very proud of him! He has done execptionally well considering his results in school and his family background!
Blondie with Me God-bro, Yixiang
(I know he doesn't look like he's twelve! But he is, alright!)

I've got myself a new hair colour, finally getting rid of the Ah-Lian blond that the stupid stylist did. Guess who did it? *Wink*

New hair, new make-up and flabby arms

It's officially 6 days to camp. And we've got ourselves 13 Revamp campers from All Saint's Church! SK's determination to go all the way to Tanah Merah to publicise the camp paid off! Looks like we're going to exceed the target that was set, which was a hundred campers. =)
Whoopee! Jesus never fails!

Sweet and Sour

Went for our second recee to Sarimbun this afternoon. Wah! So many mozzies! And Noelle got the bulk of the bites because apparently, mozzies are attracted to heat and blood that is sweet. She thinks it's coz she's both HOT and SWEET! Haha!

On our way out of Sarimbun and back to church, we decided to stop by Garden of Remembrance to visit Ah Yeh and Elaine's grandparents. It was my first time looking at Ah Yeh's condo. Ha!

I was feeling a little emotional about seeing him, first time in 5 months. But was too prideful to show it. Am still saddened by his sudden demise. And miss him lots.

*******************************************************************************************

On a happier note, take a look at the cute picture Josco took of us! We happened to be wearing green (ok. SK and Del happened to be wearing green and I happened to bring a green top along and changed into it) on the day we're suppose to meet a t-shirt supplier to discuss about our camp tee. =) How cute is that? Haha!

Thanksgiving Application

Someone I didn't expect, nor am glad to see, popped by service this morning.

Instead of lamenting, I shall take Lydia and Elaine's advice and apply last week's sermon in real life.

*Deep breath* This is so hard!

Here it goes....

Thank You, God, that You are in control of this situation and in the current relatonship.
Thank You, Jesus, that You are faithful and true.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, that You are able to transform lives and that You are going to a miraculous work in both their lives.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for leading them to be REVAMPED. I pray for a real desire in each of them to want to be revamped by You.
Thank You, Jehovah, for situations like this to show Your love and Your grace to Your children.

In Jesus' Name,
Amen.

June the Klutz

So I was walking back from Bethel after camp comm meeting on Friday with Del... when I tripped on the mini slope leading to Heartfriends' Lounge. Don't ask me how. I just did! Del was really concerned and I thought my left foot was just in shock. But nnnoooo.... It was fine when we were walking to Jumbo for dinner and back. Then it became worse after worship prac and when I got home it was really really swollen.
(See pic.)

So I decided to ice it before I go to bed. Which brought down the swelling slightly.
My swollen left ankle

To cut to the chase, I got my Dad, the TCM practitioner, to rub it with Chinese ointment, plaster it with minty medicated plaster (the kind old folks use when they have rheumatism) and bandaged it with..er..bandage. My foot looks like a sausage!

(See pic.)

All thanks to Daddy, my ankle was well enough to walk without limping this morning! =)

Pictures from Irene's ROM

Irene, Derek and the Lim Family

The bride and her 姐妹s

The bride and I at the chalet

The 2 Mdm Lims =P

It really frustrates the hell outta me that someone close to my heart is allowing herself to slip deeper and deeper into a relationship that is doing her no good!

Which boyfriend will sneak his girlfriend into a club with fake IDs?!
Which boyfriend will claim that he is a Christian, yet do not believe in God and putting such nonsensical ideas in his girlfriend's head and pulling her away from God?!
Which boyfriend will allow his ego to get into the way when his girlfriend's grandfather is in a state of comatose on a hospital bed?!

Not having a mind of her own and getting together with a smart aleck really doesn't help at all! And an asshole who doesn't have a brain to think before he speaks!
Honestly, I'm just waiting for things to happen so that I can say "I told you so". I know it's mean but there's no way she'll listen to me, or to anyone of us who care about her.

Just the mere thought of him makes my blood boil! Who does he think he is to lead her astray?! Who does he think he is to know what's best for her?! Does he really think he's God?! Well, SHE obviously think so!

Argh!! He's so annoying! Even trying to speak on her behalf! Making decisions for her! Does he really think he knows her so well that he can speak for her or decide what she wants?! He's one big-fat-no-good-useless-bum! No money don't go out lah! Don't go around getting people to pay for your meals and entertainment! Loser!

ARGH!!

Witnessed another happy occasion 2 Fridays ago, when my gal, Irene, got hitched to her boyfriend of 5 years!

She's just the sweetest! And she's the one who cracks us up alol the time. Haha! Really happy for her! But I had to ruin her buffet dinner coz my wisdom tooth was really hurting. And they had to fuss over me. Thanks Irene, Jo, Francis and Derek!

Preparation for the youth camp in December is getting more intense now.
Presenting Camp Revamp!
Theme: Godly Manhood and Womanhood
Dates: 7th - 10th Dec
Venue: Sarimbun

Camp commandant is SK and assisting him is Delci! My favourite support singers!
So is yours truly involved as advisor? Nope, that's Huan Yang's job.
Then what is a 26-year-old doing in a youth camp committee? Collect money lor! =P

Saturday

Decided to join the gals to do the dance at KopiStop for the DeepaRaya celebration. Learnt the steps within 10 minutes and messed up anyway. Heh. But it was really fun teaching some of the old folks how to do the Malay dance! I was teaching this really enthusiastic lady who has her own style of dancing, and this sweet old lady, who happens to be Uncle Richard's mum and Delci's grandmother! She's such a joy to be with! She even went up to Peishan to learn more dance steps!

Actually, we were all pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm of the folks there. They needed a little coaxing to get them to come up and learn the dance. But the old ladies were all very willing and ready to learn! We had the great time just talking to them and teaching them the dance. I'm sure Natalie and Pearlyn, the Sec. 1 gals, had fun too. =)

Sunday

Intergenerational Service.

The camp comm met up to pray before service because Pastor Joshua was going to make an announcement about the camp. We prayed for parents to be excited about the cam and for them to release their children to come for the camp.

The video was only showed after the service because there wasn't any time during announcements. It was really well done! Great jo, Noelle!

Daphne Kirk, who spoke during GoFest and Arise! was the guest speaker. She spoke of the bible as being a generational book, and how the gospel should be passed down from generation to generation.

After service, I had a semi-lunch with Elaine and Wan Lin before we met Vic at HV for Provance Bread. Heh. Then we're off to Sophie's first-month party at Rifle Range Road. She has grown quite a bit! And you know what the most amazing thing is? She slept through the adults' talking and Shanae and Emma's screaming! Such a good baby!

And then I went home, had dinner with parents, and slept at 8.30pm. Haha!

Was suppose to go tanning with Elaine. But the weak sun rays and haze deterred us from going to Sentosa. Actually, I was too lazy and unwilling to step out of the air-condition to make my way there. Haha! So we spent the day at Vivo City shopping and watching Singapore Dreaming. It's a great local flick! Catch it before it's over!

Er.. Is it still screening ah? Oh! If you've haven't heard, there's this great shop at Vivo City called Nichi which sells really cheap and nice clothes! Their basic spaghetti tops only cost a mere $2.90 each!!

Then met Ange at Holland for dinner before we head off to Leadership Summit, late!

Fri, 13th Oct: Tanning and Dance

Finally got to soak up the sun with Elaine and Wan Lin at Sentosa! Basically, it was just myself and Wan Lin coz Elaine had to do her homework. =P

Then I joined the dancers to watch the great Wade Robson at Overdrive, Hip Hop Dance Finals at the Esplanade. He's so cute! And after watching him live, I can see why he's the one and only Wade Robson, chereographer of the stars! His moves are so controlled and tight. And his musicality is just great!

Sun, 15th Oct: Luncheon with Daphne and Zeng Jing

Met up with Daphne with secondary school, and her poly-mate for lunch at No Signboard Seafood Restaurant. Actually I met Daphne last Sunday for dim sum at Din Tai Fung and Ben & Jerry's after. *rubs tummy in satisfaction... and guilt*

As usual, it was sinfully good! We had Sechuen Spicy Crayfish, Oatmeal King Prawns, White Pepper Crab and pretty bad Ee-Fu Noodles.
